The Bermuda Bay community is widely known for enjoying sunset viewing and quiet vacationing. The exclusive amenities available to you as a guest of this wonderful resort include a lazy river, sparkling pools, a fun splash pad with various water features lots of fun toys, and plenty of sun loungers for relaxing. The Elbow Beach Clubhouse includes a fitness center, lounge area, pool table, and a full bathroom for guest use. The clubhouse and fitness center are open year-round from 7:00am to 9:00pm. The Bay has a pier perfect for fishing, launching kayaks, or just enjoying the view.

If you're longing to feel the sand in your toes and simply must visit the beach, it's a very convenient 1 mile drive from the Bermuda Bay communities to the beautiful Kill Devil Hills beaches. Enjoy all the benefits of a single family home on your Outer Banks vacation, including a garage, while also enjoying all the benefits of a resort experience! You really CAN have it all!

This lovely blue two-story vacation home invites you to explore the Outer Banks and return home with a pocketful of wonderful memories. will love the gorgeous wood floors, the unique contrasting wood decor, the pretty coastal accents and the especially the huge flat screen HDTV. Your favorite movies and TV shows will definitely come to life on that! The grassy backyard is set up for al fresco dining. Enjoy a meal cooked on your gas grill as you gather around the table with six Adirondack chairs. What a wonderfully relaxing way to spend a sultry Outer Banks evening.

The spacious kitchen sports a very sophisticated feel. With clean white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, pendant lighting and a lovely center island, someone is sure to be inspired. This fully equipped space certainly provides everything you need to create a masterpiece. Savor your delectable meal in the cozy dining space with a truly beautiful and unique distressed hardwood table and seating for 6.

The lovely King En Suite features a lovely wooden bedroom set with a show-stopping bathroom that boasts double sinks and an oversized tiled stall shower. Two additional Queen bedrooms that share a hall bath. All 3 bedrooms contains flat screen HDTVs. Won't it be wonderful to watch whatever you want without fighting over a remote?!

Welcome to the Currituck Cottage at Bermuda Bay. We know this will be the beginning of a new family tradition!

This property has 2 parking spots for guests.

Guests are permitted access to the garage.

Trailers, U-Hauls, and campers are not permitted in the Bermuda Bay community.

**The Bermuda Bay community private outdoor community pools and/or waterpark play areas are available, weather permitting, beginning on weekends only (Friday to Sunday) May 1 to May 17. Beginning May 22, the pool will be open daily and close on October 1 for the season. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.**

Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.

Quick Beach Trip

Overall, the property was very nice. A few issues came up during our stay. First, the blanket in the master bedroom was not clean. I did not use it at all. Second, all soap dispensers were not working in the master bathroom. They cam to fix this issue on the day of check out sadly. We did not receive a code for the door before arriving and had to call to get a code. When I called the person on the phone was rude and I had to ask for her to text it to me. She sounded annoyed that I asked for a text. Finally, we had multiple rings to the doorbell with package deliveries and did not belong to us. I notified the company that the packages were outside the door and it took two days for them to be picked up. I believe one was a food delivery service which sat out for two days and in the rain. Finally, the lawn care company just showed up to the property one day. They didn't say anything and just let themselves into the back gate. We were in the house when this happened and it frightened me and my kids just to see someone out the back door without any notice.

Has a lot of potential.

This house was perfect for our trip with 2 little kids, it’s a great location and quick drive to the beach. They have every kitchen item you need to cook, utensils, plates and bowls. I would love to stay here again but there were some issues, the floors were vacuumed but not cleaned my baby had black feet from walking around. The dining room table was dirty after wiping with Clorox wipes and the floor right below the toilet was extremely dirty and that’s where you put your feet. The beds are awful. My husband had to sleep on the couch because the master was so loud and uncomfortable. I don’t know why they haven’t addressed the beds after all the complaints. When you go to lay down on the bed it makes a loud crunching noise. The tvs are outdated so bring a fire stick if you want specific apps to watch. Walls could use a touch up of paint. There was a baby gate in the garage but we didn’t know that so we brought our own. This could be a 5 star location if they just fixed these simple items. I would love to see blackout curtains in the bedrooms because the street lights are right next to the rooms and provide light all night. Curtain rod above the sliding glass doors fell off while trying to open them and hit me in the arm. There was mold on top of the molding where the curtain rod was. Couch and house needs to be deep cleaned.

June 2023 Stay

This property was very nice, clean, convenient to many areas. The bedrooms and closets were very spacious. The access to the pool area The only negatives we experienced is that none of the soap dispensers supplied from Kees worked in the property, despite being totally full of soap. Would recommend bringing your own soap for all bathrooms, showers, kitchen. Also, the outdoor shower had no water (maybe it is not hooked up yet).

Flying Pirate Marathon

My family stayed at this property for the Flying Pirate marathon weekend. Great location for this event! We were able to walk easily to all of the activities. The house was the perfect size for us. The dining table and carpet underneath looked like they had been missed during the turnover for our stay. The king bedroom overall was very nice, just the bed was a bit uncomfortable. None of the issues would deter me from staying again,

Heads up

The house was very nice and clean. The only complaints are that there was absolutely no hand soap in any of the bathrooms or kitchen. Also, you are only provided with one of the cheapest roll of paper towels and toilet paper per bathroom and limited trash bags. If we would have known that, we would have grabbed that stuff before we arrived. They tell you that there are limited towels provided, so if you don’t want to do laundry everyday, bring some with you. We ended up buying a couple of cheap beach towels to use as bath towels.

Beautiful neighborhood very close to the beach with a really nice community pool area. The majority of the Kees supplied soap dispensers were empty. House was a little dirty. Several lights were burned out some of the furniture was broken. Overall very nice place. Also they had the hot water set to luke warm setting, so if you like hot water you’re not gonna get it.

It was great

I would absolutely come back here again. Like some other comments though we didn't like the auto sensor in the bathroom. It faces straight to the bed so if someone needs to go to the rr in the middle of the night the light is going to turn on before you even get in the door. The other is that I never received the welcome email and had to call to get it. Other than those it was a great long weekend getaway that was pretty easy.

Beautiful and clean

Love the Bermuda Bay neighborhood. Houses are wonderful, new and clean. Quick drive to the beach access which has ample parking and restrooms at the lifeguard station.

Such a nice place!

The place was updated and clean. It was only a mile drive to the beach! Only complaint was that the community as a whole was lacking in parking. We had two cars with us and struggled to get them into the driveway because of the people who would park in the street.

Escaping Covid

We had a wonderful trip. The house was clean and well stocked. We extended our stay by one day and that process was very easy! Very cute house! We were a little disappointed that the clubhouse and slide were not open but understandable. The one and only suggestion we have is get rid of the automatic sensor light in the master bath. It’s hard to not wake everyone in the bedroom up when the light turns on automatically. It also would turn off automatically in the middle of my shower. Just a tiny annoyance. Otherwise this place is amazing and Thank You!!

Great place, will come back.

This property and community was perfect for what I needed. For someone not interested in staying/paying for an on the beach stay this is ideal. The beach was a 5 minute drive away. The house was great, very clean. Perfect for a large family or a group. The community pool was great for the kids. The pools weren't large but there was a slide which kept the kids happy. there was also a lazy river/hot tub for us adults. Our only problem was check in. We were supposed to receive a welcome email with our house key code but never did. However, customer service quickly answered my call and sent the email. Check in/Check out time is mon negotiable. I will definitely consider this property in the future.
