This is an exceptionally nice unit in the Kamaole Sands complex. The complex itself is beautiful, well maintained, and right across the street from a great beach park.

Great location.

Terrific location across from the Kihei beaches and very close to the Wailea beaches. The suite had most everything you would need, even beach chairs and an umbrella.There is a partial view of the ocean from the lanai and a nice view of the West side mountains, however there is a very noisy road directly below, so being on the lanai is not as pleasant as it would be facing the garden like the other buildings. The bedroom side is quiet though. If not for the street noise, it would have been a 5 star rating.

Loved our time in Maui

We loved our stay here at Kamaole location was perfect for walking to the beach, walking to shops and restaurants. Very comfortable and clean condo. When coming back we will revisit this place again!

Perfect in Paradise

Spent an amazing month in this lovely condo directly across from Kamaole Beach 3. Communication with host/management team was great with questions responded to quickly. Condo was very clean & spacious with a large lanai. Although it faces the road we ate dinner out there most nights & had views of the ocean. No boogie boards but beach chairs, umbrella & coolers were provided. You cannot beat the location as it’s right across from Kam 3. We like Kam 2 which took less than 5 more minutes to walk to. Many people gather at Kam 3 for the gorgeous sunsets. Easy walking distance to restaurants & shops. Short drive to Wailea for the mall or some beautiful quieter beaches. Only negative would be the roofing construction going on the whole time we were there but fortunately our building had already been completed. Kihei is our favourite place to stay and we would definitely stay at this condo again.

We loved the place and enjoyed our time very much.

We had a great stay. All was good. Except there was a very bad smell especially in the bedroom. We had to open the windows several hours every day. The smell was urine like and we don’t know where it was coming from. We thoughts is probably the Aircondition filters but it could also be the two large bags that were in the master BR cabinet. Suppose it belongs to the owner. These should be stores somewhere else. Management checked on the smell but they came at the time when we just finished airing the place and b my wife put on lotion, so all smelled good. We asked management to check after our checkout and surely the smell will be there again. Other than that we had a beautiful stay.

The property was for the most part as described. The problem was that the master bedroom and hallway had a horrible stench of what I suspect is urine. The bedroom also was very crowded and it was difficult to get to the far side of the bed due to the proximity of the dresser. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but I figure somebody needs to tell the owner and try to get these problems rectified. The property itself was under a great deal of construction, which limited some of the parking. I understand that this has to be done. It was just poor timing on our part.

Maui Vacation for a Friend’s Wedding

I recently stayed in this unit for 6 nights for a friend’s wedding in Maui. It was a wonderful experience! The unit was exactly as described and the host was very communicative. I felt that I had everything I needed! I loved the large deck and we even used my unit to get ready for the wedding! I would highly recommend this unit to anyone taking a trip to Maui, the location was perfect!

Enjoyed the stay

Condo was clean and what I expected. I liked that there were beach chairs and umbrella available for us to use. Something I've always enjoyed about the Kamaole Sands condos is that you can leave the front and back doors open to create a strong breeze though the length of the condo.

Great Home Base

Stayed here for about a week with my family. The suite had everything we needed to call it home for the week. We just grabbed some groceries and made a lot of our meals with the fully stocked kitchen. Laundry in the suite was good to have as well, especially travelling with a toddler. They even provided beach gear such as coolers (which we used), chairs, umbrellas, etc. It was a good home base to explore the island. Close to several beaches. Check-in instructions was detailed especially for a late arrival. Communication with host was excellent too. Even recommended a place to rent a playpen from, which was delivered straight to the unit! Would stay here again!
