Kihei Surfside is one of those hidden gems that once you find it, you keep it to yourself and return year-after year. #412 is no exception. The stunning ocean and island views seem to stretch across the entire island, showcasing Kihei and the West Maui Mountains as well as the Kaho’olawe Island and Molokini crater. 412 is the larger 1 bedroom floorplan with 1.5 bathrooms. The condo and furnishings are updated while still remaining comfortable and embracing that Aloha feeling.
This condo is North facing allowing the famous Maui Tradewinds to help cool the condo year-round. Efficient Ductless Split System AC in the living area and bedroom further assist on those warmer Summer nights.

Kihei Surfside is centrally located on the line between Wailea and Kihei and all of the dining, shopping, beaches and activities offered in both towns. The grounds here are spectacular! It is common to find morning yoga classes on the perfect grass area and is customary for guests and residents to meet nightly for sunset sips at the shoreline. Favorite Keawakapu beach stretches South and is perfect for long, sandy strolls as well as paddleboarding, kayaking and snorkeling. The neighboring resort is yards away and offers kayak and SUP board rentals as well as lunch and basic needs at 808 Deli and General Store.

Ideal location

We loved this place and would stay again! The location is amazing. The nearby sandy beach plus the stretch of rocky shoreline allowed for both great lounging and swimming as well as great snorkeling. The condo is thoughtfully appointed with everything you need - plenty of towels, a couple of good beach chairs, adequate dishes, pots and pans for cooking, etc.

This property is nice! The full-time and part-time residents are incredibly welcoming, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. The location is excellent, with convenient access to grocery store, dining, and beautiful walking paths leading to pristine beaches. One of the highlights was the breathtaking ocean view through spotless windows—we were lucky enough to see plenty of whales right from our balcony! While the building's exterior is a bit dated, the unit itself is immaculate, thoughtfully appointed, and designed for comfort. The bed and furniture were cozy, and the shower was fantastic. Overall, a wonderful stay—we’d happily return!

Disgusting Property and Horrible Management Experience both CB Vacation and VRBO

We stayed for 30 minutes and were so horrified we left and booked in at ant fine hotel. Advertised as new, 180 degree view, great amenities? Really? Building from 1975 and decrepit. The one set of windows looking out to the 90 degree view were so dirty we could see the streaked squeegee marks all across the window. It got worse from there. And when we called CB vacation rentals the response was: we are not responsible for the windows. VRBO had confirmed when we booked this last June that the building was new, recently developed so we envisioned modern, clean, beautiful view, spacious. Nothing could be further from the truth. And the approach to it - the neighboring properties - vacant dirt acreage around the property - not appealing or reminiscent of tropical Hawaii. The building next door advertised in the listing as having a new restaurant is covered with dry rot. Primitive. Thankfully we were able to book in the last room elsewhere.I have filed complaints with multiple jurisdictions now including a Consumer Fraud claim with Hawaii’s Consumer Protection Bureau for false advertising and misrepresentation. Shocking for for the cost. Do not book this property. Am happy to send you photos and videos.

Great Stay in Kihei

Looked at several properties in Kihei, and decided on this one based on price and amenities. It didn't disappoint. Kihei Surfside is beautiful, very well-manicured grounds and right by the beach. Populated by a mix of tourists and locals, all of whom were very pleasant to be around. Check-in was easy and contact-free, the space was well-appointed, the balcony a gorgeous view. We will definitely stay here again.

Don’t let the old building fool you. The apartment unit is modern and well updated with solid AC. The community pool is clean and well maintained. The beach at the property is solid

I liked the fact that it was so close to wailea beach. One of things I didn’t like why only 1 day worth of toiletries are provided. Building is old but property is nice from inside.

Beautiful & Comfortable

This unit is well appointed for all your home away from home needs during your stay. We had a wonderful time at this location, it's a very quiet complex over looking the ocean. A lot of the other tenants seem to be long term and are always ready with a smile and good day. At sunset they carry the the tradition of blowing conch shells while the sun is sinking into the ocean. Very cool. We would definitely recommend this unit and would stay here again.
