Thank yourself with a stay in this newly remodeled condo at Kauhale Makai, the village by the sea. This remodel encompasses the stay-at-home charm of Hawaii with the added luxury of fresh and clean. Bask in the sun and AC while taking in the breathtaking view of the ocean specific to Kauhale Makai. When (and if) you’ve had enough of that, focus your attention to the new flat-screen smart TV for a movie night in with your family.

Both bedrooms in this condo have front row seats to every sunrise and sunset you can get out of your Maui vacation, and the best part is that you don’t have to share it with ANYONE. Every bed has been replaced and every aspect of this piece of paradise has been improved. Both bathrooms have dark oak finishes and white counters and showers to create a refined and refreshing experience. The balcony of this unit is right on the corner of the building and offers expansive views of the complex and the ocean right from your special home away from home. If all of that wasn’t enough, this newly remodeled kitchen gives you the freedom to whip up all of your homestyle favorites in paradise to enjoy the people you love.

One of the extra special features worth mentioning in this condo is a unique port hole over looking the ocean in the guest bathroom shower. With that, comes all new bath cabinets that are floated above the ground for your convenience. Further, all the cabinets also have LED lights beneath them for your safety. All of the windows have privacy shades for your security, but per the renovation the owner installed wide open lanai doors so you still have expansive ocean views when you prefer.

This condo has central air conditioning, laundry available on-site, a television in every room, a dishwasher, WiFi, and assigned parking just for you. Ut was very hot in the co do when we arrived at 80 degrees because no air had been turned on in anticipation of our arrival. It reminded hot for 2 days we would like to have had the temp in room below 72 but it would not go any lower. The bathroom sink was very slow to drain. Someone came to work on it and after 3-4 days there was ongoing issues. Otherwise the unit was clean. There was a lack of storage place for clothes which would be useful when staying a prolonged period.

First thing...I can't believe no previous guests mentioned the fact that there are no closets in this place. There is a place to hang things by the front door and a small place in the back bedroom but they were full of other items. There was also no dresser in the back bedroom, only a small desk with little tiny drawers. We basically lived out of our suitcase for 10 days. Unfortunately, the condo was not very clean. The floors were filthy and the countertops and dining table and coffee table weren't even wiped off. The windows were also dirty as were the lanai's. We even had to buy wipes to clean the tables/countertops.The quality of the bedding was lacking, I even had a hole in my sheet in the back bedroom. It almost seemed like the condo had been unoccupied for some time and just not cleaned prior to arrival. No decor at all in the condo (minus a couple of small items on the shelf in the kitchen). Some or any art in the condo would have made it feel much more welcoming. Tiny shampoo and conditioner provided and tiny hand soap for bathroom sinks but no bath soaps, definitely not enough for someone who is staying 10 days. The staff at checkin/out was very nice.

Beautiful view condo

The property was presented as it actually was. It was clean and had all you need for cooking. The view was awesome!! It was too bad that the air conditioning went out the 2nd day of our week vacation.

Wonderful view!

Place was exactly as shown in listing. Clean, very well stocked kitchen, nice perk was to have beach towels and coolers available for us to use. Location of condo to get to other towns was great and a short drive from airport. Overall it was a wonderful experience staying here!

Great property with a great view

Beautiful condo with a perfect ocean view. With 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, it was perfect for our family of 4. Short drive to restaurants, grocery stores, and anything else you may need.

Excellent property

This property has been updated with nice finishes and has everything you would require in a short-term rental. The kitchen is fully stocked to make meals at home. Plus, it comes furnished with all beach needs, to include towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc. We could not have asked for a better beachfront rental at this price.

Best condo we have stayed in!

The location was so close to restaurants and groceries. The views from the condo was unbelievably beautiful by a quiet beach. Loved all the kitchen appliances and extra touches. It was perfect for our party of four adults.

Updated, spacious condo in great location

Easy check-in with keypad and thorough instructions/ info about the property prior to arrival and checking in. Beautiful views of the ocean from the unit. Close proximity to beach as well as short drive to other beaches. Great unit to share between two couples since both bedrooms have their own bathrooms. Condo was modern with comfortable furniture; plenty of bedding, towels, beach towels and kitchen appliances to use, along with bonus items including cooler, chairs and boogie boards for the beach. Both Pool and hot tub were great and used a ton by our party. Only 20 min drive from the airport. Office hours to access parking permit were limited during our stay but knowing that in advance made it easy. We would 10/10 stay here again.

First Time Maui Visitors

Condo was very nice and had all of the amenities that you need for a week stay in Maui. Beautiful views of the Bay and the surrounding Islands. Nothing was too far away but all activities were outside of walking distance otherwise everything was great.

Quiet Condo in Kihei with AMAZING views

This is a great unit - clean and updated. We love the floor to ceiling windows and great views in each room. Plus, was equipped with beach stuff - good boogie boards, noodles, beach towels. Also plenty of high end cookware and appliances. This is a front unit with two balconies - one over looks the pool. Great location near all the Kihei restaurants, etc but in a more quiet area. Coin laundry is a bit of a bummer, especially with towels. Also, this unit needs some dressers or places to store clothes. There is one very small dresser in the smaller bedroom but half is taken up with sheets. Not one closet available. There is no where to put clothes in the master... which isn't great with a whole family for a long vacation.

Amazing condo with ocean view

Wow! What a beautiful condo with an amazing ocean views from every room. Both bathrooms had been recently updated as well as the amazing kitchen stocked with everything that you need. It was great to have lawn chairs, cooler, beach mats and snorkel gear to use. Only suggestion would be to provide a dresser in the main bedroom. There was no place to put any clothing and I had to rummage through my suitcase for the 8 days that we stayed at the condo. Other than this minor thing, everything else was great!

Amazing condo in a great location.

The condo was recently renovated, and was amazing! It had all the amenities for a day at the beach (chairs, snorkel gear, towels, etc), and anything you could need for cooking meals. It is a great location in Kihei, close to restaurants and easy to get around the island. We loved the grassy lawn in front of the beach, and watching the sunset from the balcony. Would highly recommend, and would definitley stay there again!

Great Maui Condo

Although the furniture was tired, the condo was otherwise GREAT. Wonderful beach for walking and swimming and all kinds of ocean play. Outstanding views, 2 balconies, nice pool, and air conditioners that worked. Close to good dining and shopping. Loved the humpback whale facility close by. We just loved this condo. This would definitely be a place we would love to come back to.
