Quiet 1-Bedroom Beach GETAWAY! Neighborhood and Nature Views! Great Location on Kiawah Island!

Situated between the beautiful live oaks in the West Beach Village on Kiawah Island, this one bedroom, one bathroom villa is an ideal spot just minutes from the beautiful, sandy beach. Located on the second floor, and tucked back in a little neighborhood off of West Beach, this is the perfect setting for a quiet vacation getaway.

The condo includes tile flooring throughout, and a modern kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The open floor plan combines the living room, dining room and kitchen area. The living room has a flat screen TV, and the condo is equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi.

Also, relax on the rocking chairs out on the screened in porch and enjoy the nature and wildlife of Kiawah! Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

The master suite is located just off the main entranceway and contains a comfy king size bed, TV, and updated private bathroom with new countertops and tiled walk-in shower. This property is great for couples or solo adventurers!

Quiet Retreat Only Steps to the Beach

I enjoyed my 4 night stay in this villa! It is a spacious, one bedroom villa in very restful, quiet surroundings. It was a quick, easy walk to the expansive, beautiful beach. Beach chairs are provided. The unit is a bit dated, but was very clean and provided a much needed respite.

Beautiful location

Place was very clean and just as advertised. Bed wasn’t as comfortable as I’d hoped, but that’s more of a personal preference than a knock on the reservation itself. Overall, excellent location, 2 min walk from the beach.

Housekeeping could do a better job

Property was 90% clean and inviting. Linens, beds, floors, porch, appliances were all great. The small things we found: hair from previous guests still clogged on top of the shower drain; kitchen trash can liner had been replaced, but there was an old banana peel at the bottom; the kitchen counter had not been wiped off--there was dirt, sticky spots, and I found two small wood finish nails on top of the counter, that were hidden by the multi-colored finish of the countertop.

Perfect getaway

This property was perfect for myself and my husband. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. We had everything we needed. Loved the quick walk to the beach and the screened in porch. Such a great place to relax and enjoy some time away.

Cozy Getaway and Great Location

This place was perfect for me and my husband. The location to the beach and surrounding area was great! It is about a 35-40 minute drive to Historic Charleston which we didn’t have a problem doing. The internet isn’t ideal so if you need to work during your stay you might consider this. We didn’t need to communicate with the management company so I can’t really speak to their responsiveness but info for our stay was clearly communicated. The only negative I have is the tv in the living room is small. We are night owls and love to watch a movie. Having said that, they do have Infinity and there were a lot of on demand programming to choose from.

Beautiful location

The unit itself was a bit smaller than it appears in the photos, however the balcony was perfect. Perhaps time for a refresh of the decor with paint and smaller scale furniture. The beach and neighborhood were both perfect and very quiet. This is our first experience using VRBO - email communication from booking to check in and check out could not have been better!!

Great villa, could use some minor fixes

Overall the villa was very comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Some of the air vents looked rusty and old and could use replacing. Perhaps a shelf or cabinet over the toilet for more bathroom storage would also be helpful. Great location!

Solace by the Sea

The villa is optimally located steps from the beach and bike trails in West beach location. It is impeccably decorated and is super comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. The only suggestion would be a new set of sharper knives for food preparation. A nice surprise was that the stackable laundry unit was large. The property management at Sweetgrass was exceptional for communication and customer service. A nice upgrade for the unit would be new smart TVs with some streaming options included. We would definitely rent again and look forward to coming back again in the near future.
