Our Cypress Point Home is ideally located in the center of Kiawah Island. We are well inside the security gate and our private enclave of 17 homes @ Cypress Point sits in a lovely wooded setting. Featured in Ocean Homes Magazine , Cypress Point was included as one of the top 20 ocean island developments in the world,highly regarded for its eco friendliness and preservation of the natural setting in which it dwells. This community offers security, great neighbours, and a relaxing Zen Pool for owners and guests.
Cypress Point appealed to us in many ways. Landscaped courtyards, bright well laid out interiors, the high quality appointments, eco friendly, and the preservation of nature in mind.
Our home is airy and well lit, and is decorated with Asian accents, a wonderful getaway for extended families uniting, good friends gathering, And significant celebrations.
We offer 2 King Suites a Queen Suite and a superb suite with 2 Double Beds. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, walk in closets, and cable TV . The generous use of marble and tile contributes to the modern, luxurious motif. A powder room is located off the Great Room and entertaining areas.
I have equipped the kitchen for gourmet food prep with a gas range, electric oven, convection microwave, refrigerator ice maker, top of the line cooking utensils, and service for ten people.
In the Great Room there is Surround Sound, Blu-Ray DVD, IPOD docking station, HD Cable and TV, and the spaciousness of 10 ft. ceilings.
The screened porch is at ground level by the main entry, garage, and grilling area. It offers a cottage like getaway to relax, read, snooze and listen to your favorite music.
Kiawah is a hidden gem. Drive here, fly here, so convenient to Historic Charleston. Kiawah's ten mile beach is rated as one of the top 10 beaches in North America, and our house is a short walk or bike ride away. Kiawah is rated as the number one tennis facility in the US and there is championship golf readily available, one of which is the world famous Ocean Course.
There is a friendly playground nearby and over thirty miles of trails for biking and blading.
For the discriminating traveller, vacationing in our home will start a tradition. We have.

Lovely Dog Friendly Home

This Lovely home worked great for our family vacation with dogs. The kitchen is well equipped and there were plenty of beach chairs and towels for our trips to the beach. The family room has lots of comfortable seating for the crowd. The elevator was not working and we were missing some towels upon check in that housekeeping brought later that night.

Delightful House and Owners

Beautifully decorated and comfortable home; outstanding kitchen; quiet neighborhood; benefit of elevator; located in Kiawah with many beautiful beaches, easy access for sports/physical activities, and child friendly opportunities. Home owners are exceptionally supportive, including handling changes or special requests.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Our family of 7 adults and 2 dogs fit nicely in this spacious home. Pauline was very responsive to our questions. We found the kitchen to be well equipped to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. The porch was a good place to read and the location of the house was convenient to the many attractions at Kiawah Island. The courtyard was great for the dogs. We would certainly stay there again.

Quiet and Convenient Neighborhood

Lovely, well appointed home. Worked well for two couples with two adult children…room for everybody to spread out and have some time alone, and great room/dining/kitchen was a good gathering place. We did not use the porch at all as it’s sort of out of the way. Coukd have been a nice place to read.

Beach vacation

Pauline and Bruce are such great hosts. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely home. The home is top drawer and so accommodating. Location, location, location. - short drive to the home once you are on Kiawah. - short walk to Night Heron Park - short walk to Roy Barth tennis facility - short drive or bike to Freshfields Just bring your bathing suit and suntan lotion. - the neighborhood swimming pool is steps away. - a short walk to the beach with supplied beach chairs

Great family beach vacation

My husband and I were joined by our two adult children, their spouses, and our son's Scottie for a very relaxing two-week stay. This quiet, attractive house is very well equipped and offers space for multiple simultaneous activities. It is a lovely 10-minute walk (3-minute bike ride) to the beach. Once there, we were within walking distance to the Sanctuary hotel and its pool bar. It is also a very short walk from the house to the Turtle Point golf course and its restaurant, and it is relatively close to the Roy Barth tennis center. The only negative for us was that the house is in a wooded area and is somewhat dark for most of the day, but this also probably kept it cooler. We did not use the elevator as the instructions looked tricky.

NYE stay

Beautiful, well decorated home with a lot of small well-thought details throughout the house: the sitting, the lighting, very pretty decor, well equipped kitchen. And very Cozy! The location is great- 10 mins walk to the beach, 10-mins walk to the Sanctuary We Enjoyed our stay very much and Highly recommend it! This is our 5th NYE celebration In Kiawah. And I would love to stay in this house again in our future trip.

Beautiful fully stocked home

We loved our weeklong stay over Thanksgiving- the home is beautiful: fully stocked kitchen, comfortable family room, nice large dining table, and all bedrooms perfectly suited for our family’s needs. We didn’t mind the 15 minute walk to the beach. Super easy bike ride away.

Overall very nice property,, nice layout,, a bit of noise carry from upstairs bedrooms,,did have an issue with clogged tub drain in upstairs bath,, called maintenance said would have a plumber,,, said 20 min never showed,,, went to store and bought drano,, couple treatments was better,,, still slow draining

Perfect family get away!

This was our first time on Kiawah island and it is a beautiful place. The Lister home was also beautiful. Everything was well stocked and clean and comfy. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen with sharp knives, and our family appreciated the abundance of bathrooms! We rented bikes, which made exploring the island much easier, along with accessing the beach. It was so nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas provided - we would load up the gear in the truck to make drop off easier. The beach is walkable but not with lots of gear. Our whole family enjoyed our stay and we all agreed we will be back!
