The location of the vrbo is great. Only a short walk away from the lift and right next to one of the best bars in town ( Goat soup and whiskey). However, the heat in the residence was not working correctly in the living room, the mattresses on the all the beds needs to be replaced and some of the dishes were dirty. We had a great time but for the price we paid we wish the mattresses were newer. They were cheap mattresses and were not very comfortable. Which is a shame cause the place was really nice, along with the location. For future guests recommend water heater be updated (water heater could not maintain heat for water than for about 7 min) , mattresses replaced from the cheap 80s mattresses, and the dishes were cleaned.

Cold

Everything was fine, nice place, But the living room was cold the entire time. I tried the wood fireplace but it wouldn’t stay lit. Basically either the thermostat doesn’t work, or rather they just won’t let it get very warm in there. I would say it was 67 or 68 at the most. And it was really cold. Also there was only one extra blanket in the entire place.

Needs simple improvements

This unit does well on location and cleanliness. It’s a big miss on bed comfort. which is a high priority for me. All the mattresses are worn out (probably 15 years ago) and uncomfortable. The underground parking and hot tub were nice but my family wound not stay here again due to the high discomfort of the bedding (much lost sleep after long days of skiing). Also, I never received a working ski locker key after several calls to Summit Cove management.
