River Run Condo with Slope Views, Short Walk to Lifts & Close to Gondola

This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo sleeps 4 with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa. It features slope views to the south. The updated kitchen features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. Buffalo Lodge offers shared amenities including 2 hot tubs.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV next a stone gas fireplace. There is a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Extra sheets and blankets are in a closet. Off of the living area is the private balcony that offers slope views to the south. Enjoy views of the village and even fireworks during ski season!

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The dining area comfortably seats four. The full bathroom has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination. It is stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a mounted flat screen TV.

Please note: To reserve this property, the reservation holder must be at least 24 years old at the time of booking.

My son and I had a great time snowboarding at Keystone, as always. The condo was great, closest we have ever been to the gondola, 5 minute walk at best. The condo had everything, the hot tubs were a plus! Only complaint is one of the two elevators was broken, so it could be a wait and crowded. Hope to be back next year!

The host’s communication was very fast. Our shower drain was clogged and within hours the maintenance team had it fixed. The amenities were great. We had a 6yr and 10yr old with us, they loved playing pool in the lobby and we enjoyed relaxing on the couch and going in the hot tubs. The ski lockers were very useful next to the lobby. We appreciated that our unit had 2 humidifiers and box fans. We used them the entire week we were there. Our bed was comfortable. We liked that the parking for this unit was underground in a parking garage, that way we did not need to worry about ice or snow on the car since we are from Florida. The proximity to everything was so convenient. A huge bonus was our view to the mountain slopes. We loved watching people go down the runs and watching the machines groom the trails at night.

Check-in process was just fair. There was an issue with the elevator out of order. There was no sign indicating this. So after waiting for 10 minutes.. i realized It wasn’t working. I had to alert several people who were also waiting to no avail.At first the person I spoke to about needing help, had an attitude saying “ it’s not my fault”. I never said It was. I just needed help carrying skis, luggage etc. Finally , they communicated that they would send someone. I was able to get help from a helpful stranger who saw me trying to manage. The unit itself was very nice. But having an elevator out of service was rough. Especially traveling alone and a little older.

Family trip

Trip was good except for the elevator that is still not working that was reported in reviews. There was also a sewer drain that was repaired right in front of our door, so we had to deal with odors for the whole trip. The pull out couch shouldn’t be considered an option for a bed, not comfortable at all.

Great location!

Outstanding location; super convenient to skiing and restaurants. Stop for groceries on your way to picking up the key and can leave the car in the garage until departure because everything is within a five minute walk. Nice property which fits the description - perfect for a couple or a small family that has someone who doesn’t mind sleeping on a sleeper sofa.

We had a time at Keystone! Everyone was so nice and helpful! The location of the condo was perfect and condo was well stocked with what we needed. The elevator to the parking garage was out of order and it made loading and unloading a challenge.

Great unit, not so great management company

The condo unit is great, nicely decorated. The owners clearly have put thought and effort into making this a comfortable stay. The kitchen is very well furnished. The view of the slopes is just from the bedroom, however. Still, we would stay here again. I would have given this 5 stars, but the management company needs much improvement. We were informed just days before our arrival that the elevator from the garage to the first floor was out of service, yet management refused to give a discount or refund. We had to park outside in the cold, haul our luggage up slippery wooden stairs, load it onto a cart, and use the first floor elevator. Yes, we could have used a ramp around the corner from the parking lot, but it was snowing, and the carts wouldn't have worked in the snow on the ground. In looking at past reviews, I saw that the elevator is often out of service. The management company often does not respond to texts--even after inviting guests to text with any issues. We stayed 10 days, but the unit was supplied with only a few days of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Management would not deliver more but said we could drive to their office to pick up more supplies. Really? Love the unit but wish the owners would go with a different management company.

Convenient and comfortable

Everything was excellent. The only problems were that you could not adjust the heat, and it was hotter than we liked it. Also, the elevator to the garage did not work when we checked in, was fixed, and did not work again on our check out. Fun time at River Run and a good price for a Fortes day.

Great!

We stayed here for three nights. Everything was a described and the condo had everything we needed. It was very clean and in the perfect location for the Bacon and Bourbon festival! Small grocery store within the village and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants. Check in was easy just remember you stop at a separate place for you cards and instructions:)

Charming condo in a beautiful ski town. It would have been helpful if the rental office provided better instruction to the actual building and mentioned that the parking garage elevator was out of order. The unit itself was comfortable.

The space was everything you'd desire, the property management company could do better

Great little place in the heart of river run. The kind of place you can tell the owners considered what all one would desire to use the space for (i.e. kitchen implements etc.). The owners' consideration aside, the property management company could improve. 1st. While I'll admit it's possible I overlooked it in the litany of contracts and check in informational files (that are so large you could spend your stay reading them), it would have been nice if someone had mentioned the construction going on this summer as it was a bit of a challenge to arrive in the middle of the night and hit a dead end after dead end trying to approach buffalo lodge. 2nd. There was the very obvious (i.e. the individual/s cleaning the toilet btwn stays didn't feel it worth the time to mention/address) danger of a toilet seat that is missing one of its two retaining bolts, which, as it wasn't readily apparent upon ones' 1st use of the facilities, resulted in a near tumble/injury; and 3rd. A maintenance technician randomly attempted to address an apparent issue with the blinds while we were there (an occupied status, on a Saturday, which he informed us, he was not at all aware of) which was in tune with the general lack of comprehensiveness I'd allocate to reviewing Summit County Mountain Retreats as a property management company.
