Old Town Retreat _ Pool _ Walk to Duval

The Island Suite is part of a historic Key West property built around 1889. Suite #16 is located on the first floor at the rear of the 411 William Street building. The Island Suite has one of the premiere locations in Old Town, Key West with lively Duval Street just 3 blocks away and the neighborhood boasting some of the finest older homes in Key West.

The private suite has its own entryway. Once inside, it is divided to include the bedroom, bathroom, and living area. The living area is equipped with a full kitchen. The suite includes a private covered porch and access to the hotel pool which is located just opposite the entryway. The property is a lush tropical setting with palm trees, winding paths and courtyards to relax in. It is a true Key West experience.

Check In and Check Out:
Check in is at 4:00 pm. Check out is by 11:00 am.
In addition, all guests will have access to the hotel grounds for the day.

Island suite 16 is located on the first floor at the rear of the 411 William street building.
The access code for the Island Suite 16 will be provided to you on the day of you check in.

The Island Suite 16 is located at Island City House 411 William St, but is privately owned and not affiliated with Island City House Property Management.

We are a privately owned suite located at 411 William St. Key West. We are not run by the Island City House management group. You can come directly to us for any questions or concerns instead of the Island City House front office.

The Island Suite has one of the premiere locations in Old Town, Key West. This block of William Street boasts some of the finest older homes in Key West including the B.P. Roberts House across the street. He's the one with headstone in our cemetery that reads "I TOLD YOU I WAS SICK". The Historic Key West Seaport is a short two block walk to the north. Duval Street is three blocks to the west. And there are numerous great restaurants and specialty food shops like the Eaton Street Seafood Market in the neighborhood. This place is full of historic charm and in the perfect location.

The suite was Sweet and cozy! Fantastic location for enjoying all things in Key West. The complex was quiet and peaceful during the evening, too. The suite was well equipped for a pleasant stay. The central air conditioning and ceiling fans were grand!

Suite 16 at The Island City House was a magical experience for our 30th wedding anniversary! After a long day of travel, the cozy mattress and luxurious bedding created the perfect sleep environment. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved the private porch for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We had lunch at the Waterfront Brewery and dinner at Fogarty’s and the Flying Monkeys Saloon, both within walking distance. We also appreciated the good host communication with excellent instructions about parking. Our stay was too short to enjoy all the amenities but we can’t wait to come back another time!

The suite was perfect for our needs (two adults). Though one room, the bedroom was naturally separated from the kitchen and seating area. We made breakfast in the morning and past guests have left behind some of their extras that were helpful (seasonings, Ziploc, etc). The area was quiet and having the entrance to the room face the garden area made for a very relaxed feeling. The mattress is on the soft side. We are extra firm people so we often run into that issue, so may work well for most. We still really loved the stay. There was also lots of info in the binder on places to go, eat, etc - very helpful. Loved that there were plenty of towels - both for bath and pool. We did laundry using the hotel facilities on site and had a great experience. The first night the host brought us extra blankets as well - very much appreciated! Would definitely recommend.

Awesome place to stay. Very close to everything we wanted to do. Parking is of course NOT easy in key West. We managed to snag a spot a block away, and never moved the car. But we knew about that up front, so no complaints, just stating a fact. Bed was comfy, water was hot and plentiful. The Garden area in the hotel complex was so cool. Really a nice quite place to stay, yet close enough to the action on Duval.

Absolutely amazing property

We loved our stay!! The house was clean, well stocked and the perfect place for my husband my son and I. We loved how close we were to Duval Street. We enjoyed the private patio every evening. We will return someday!

Tropical Paradise

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel very much! The suite was clean and had everything we needed. Very much as described. The real gem of this place is the tropical courtyard, a lovely place to relax with a drink or a good book. We didn’t use the swimming pool, but it looked very nice. The location is within walking distance of many of the Key West hot spots. We loved our time in Key West!
