THE CONTENTED CRANE checks all of these boxes, and more. Located within walking distance to Duval Street and the Historic Seaport, this gorgeous and modern island home is the premiere accommodation for a group to relax and enjoy the experience of Key West's most upscale vacation getaway.

THE LOCATION...

Imagine your vacation home being just steps in either direction from all of the shops, restaurants, and sites of Duval Street and the Historic Seaport. Take a stroll or ride your bike down to the best of Key West, three blocks down Olivia St to hit local favorites like Croissants de France, Martins, and Nine-One-Five. Just a few blocks down Windsor Lane and you'll be at BO's Fish Wagon or Schooner Wharf.

THE LIVING AREA AND KITCHEN...

THE CONTENTED CRANE welcomes you with bright, tropical colors, tall ceilings, and luxurious modern furnishings. Floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to pour into the first floor all day. The living area boasts a gigantic 60-inch flat screen Smart HDTV, which you can watch from the comfort of the plush living room furniture or the kitchen/dining areas thanks to the open living plan of the first floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with state of the art appliances and all of the tools and utensils you will need to prepare a meal at home when taking a break from the decadent restaurant options of Key West. There is also a wet bar complete with the full bar set up for happy hour your way. The dining area has seating for 6, with 3 additional seats at the kitchen bar.

THE PRIVATE SALTWATER POOL...

Through the sliding glass doors of the living area is one of the highlights of this home: the private pool area. Fully fenced for privacy and surrounded by lush tropical greenery, this will undoubtedly be a primary gathering place for your group. The comfortable chaise lounges can be pulled into the sun or the shade, and they sit right beside the heat-optional saltwater pool that is great for a dip on a hot day. A full outdoor dining set can comfortably sit 6. The backyard is complete with a large propane grill for an outdoor barbeque by the pool.

• First Floor Bedroom: Two Twins OR One King bed and an en-suite bathroom with a glass shower.

• Second Floor Master Bedroom: King bed, private balcony, and an en-suite bathroom with dual sinks and a glass shower.

• Living Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa with access to a half bath off the living room.

Groups who expect they may cause after hours noise will not be a good fit for this home and should be aware they may incur additional penalties when in residence for violations. There will be a $500 charge for after-hours dispatch of our staff in response to calls resulting from verified noise complaints for violations by our guests in residence.

We had a fantastic stay at the Contented Crane. Beds were comfortable and room layout was ideal for our group of 6 adults traveling together. Allowed for adequate space and privacy while also having plenty of comfortable communal space. Location is excellent, easy walk to Duval Street and either southern most point or mallory square. We look forward to returning!

This home was a great for our girls trip accommodations. Everyone had ample space and it was nice to be able to access the property from the back fence near the car/golf cart parking. It was a little hard parking in the first spot but we got it down by passing the parking lot through the alleyway and backing in. We look forward to staying here again!

We would definitely stay here again!

The property was beautiful, and in a nice quiet neighborhood near old town. It was convenient to everything, and we enjoyed being within a few minutes' golf cart ride to chosen restaurants, beaches, and shopping locations. And the pool was great. Dan, the property manager, was very responsive to a question, and he even left a delicious key lime pie in the fridge!

Great Stay in nice location!

6 adults (3 couples) went away for a long weekend and this home did not disappoint. Communication with host was A including app that provides a lot of information. Each couple had their own bathroom and space which was great. Outside space lush and comfortable. Location was in a quaint neighborhood providing scenic views on the walk to Duval or waterfront. Although we didn’t use it, pool was warm. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Perfect Key West stay

My sister and I planned a Key West adventure around our front row seats to a Chicago concert at the Key West Amphitheatre. The Contented Crane was the best place we could have possibly stayed. The house is even larger than I expected, based on the listing photos. A cozy backyard and heated pool were perfect. The beds are very comfortable; linens and towels quite nice, kitchen well appointed, living area relaxing and roomy. Neighborhood felt safe, parking was handy, and this home is walking distance to many places. Danny Parker was our Last Key contact. He responded quickly to any questions and spoiled us. We were delighted with this place and hope to return soon.

Great house and location!

We had a wonderful time. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The back deck and pool were really great for relaxing in the morning drinking coffee or having wine at the end of the evening. The host was very responsive. We would definitely use Last Key Realty rental properties for future stays.

Livin’ the Dream

Three senior couples who love to travel together just checked another dream location off our list. The Contented Crane was our home base for the trip & fit our needs perfectly. It was centrally located & only a short walk to Duval Street. Mobility was a bit of a challenge for the senior group but renting a golf cart solved the problem. It was an exciting & memorable trip for all!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Contended Crane. The listing photos did a great job of showing exactly what to expect. We especially appreciated the little extra touches ... AC on, music playing, coffee pods ready for the morning, and a key lime pie in the freezer.

Incredible Home and Great Location

We had a great time staying at the The Contented Crane. The home was beautiful, well decorated with a great layout and nice pool. Also, it was within walking distance to wherever we wanted to go. It's makes Key West super accessible, easy and enjoyable. We did have some issues with check-out as we paid for a late check-out, and the cleaning people woke us up before checkout and then came again before late checkout time.

Fun housemates from college reunion

Gorgeous property! Had a wonderful time in the perfectly situated location, close to everything and far enough from party noise! Some ideas and constructive feedback- 1. Coasters would be good. 2. Plastic glasses for the pool area are a must. 3. Would be helpful to have one more comfortable chair in the living space. 4. Main floor bedroom bed are uncomfortable mattresses and clearly wrapped in plastic and appear to be suited for children, which were not comfortable for adults. 5. Main bedroom bathroom has a disco bulb over right side sink, which we requested to be replaced but was not replaced during our stay. Overall, extremely pleased and would rent again from Last Key Realty. Nice staff.
