Absolutely fantastic.

We stayed here for 31/2 weeks in July and it was fantastic. Prior to arrival communication was excellent and Demi was very helpful & nothing was too much trouble. The photos of the Villa and Gardens don’t do it justice.This is probably the cleanest Villa we have ever stayed at. The location to Kathikas village is perfect, it’s a 5-10 minute stroll to get to Tavernas & Restaurants which are very reasonably priced & the traditional Cypriot food is delicious. I would definitely recommend this Villa.

Great choice

We had great time. Villa is perfect for a family holidays. Everything you need was available. You will need a car as villa is located about 15-20 minutes drive to the beach. Easy communication with the owner.

Beautiful Stay

Just back from 10 lovely days in this villa, we couldn’t fault it. Demi and Maria were a great help and the welcome pack was much appreciated. The pool area is lovely. You do need a car to get around but you can walk to the beautiful village within 5 minutes where there are lovely bars and tavernas.

Beautiful villa in a lovely scenic location

The Villa was beautifully furnished & well equipped for everything during our stay. There was a lovely welcome pack when we got to the Villa which was much appreciated as we arrived late at night. The Villa is situated in a lovely scenic location & very peaceful & close to the village which serves great traditional meals.Demi and her mum Maria were wonderful , very welcoming & ensured we had everything we could need. We will be definitely be looking at booking the villa again in the future.

Great Villa

Great Villa and within easy walking distance to Kathikas Village. Lovely private space to enjoy relaxing in the sunshine and by the pool. Maria and Demi on hand if we needed anything. Very clean and clutter free with plenty of space - and a perfect starter pack of provisions which was really helpful. Thank you, we’ll hopefully be back.

Beautiful quiet scenic authentic

Just had 10 days in this lovely villa , from booking to arrival everything was perfect. Demi replied to any questions quickly and Maria was on hand during our whole stay if needed. The villa is a great size with a lovely pool and garden area set in the gorgeous village with a handful of tavernas , a small shop and gin bar (hubby loved it and they showed the football). Yannis taverna was by far the best and cheapest for food. It got very busy at the weekend so suggest you book. We hired a car which was a must for venturing to the larger shops and coral bay only 15 min drive . If you’re looking for a lovely villa stay in a quiet village all within walking distance (5 mins up a small incline but nothing major) then this is a must . We will be back that’s for sure , just wish we could have stayed longer . Thankyou Demi and Maria ( restaurant reviews will be on trip adviser )

Villa with a View!

This was our first experience of privately booking a Villa, I have travelled to Cyprus five times before so know the island fairly well, however I was apprehensive about private booking with recent publicity about fraudulent sites etc. I called Demi on the number listed before booking and my mind was quickly put at rest, prior to booking and after I sent a number of e-mails to which Demi replied almost instantly on most occasions which was very impressive. On arrival late Sunday night we found fresh fruit and milk cheese bread and much more, which was very much appreciated, the next day we met Demi's mother who is living in one of the villas. We had a couple of minor issues one being the kettle lid had been broken, we were treated with a new one at 7am the next morning, we also found the microwave to be broken, this wasn't a problem to us as we didn't need it but after returning from a morning out we found a brand new microwave! Demi called in to check how our stay was mid way through, we really did feel they wanted us to have the best time possible, but without being intrusive. I always think of leaving reviews for hotels etc, to date I never have, but after staying here I felt compelled to praise the owners for all there efforts they are a credit to the industry and to their country, we rarely return to the same location but I am very keen on staying here again possibly even next year!

Lovely villa 😍

Always a pleasure to deal with Demi and Maria. Thank you for the welcome pack of food which got us started with the essentials. The villa had everything we needed and the sky TV channels available were a welcome addition. We had a lovely relaxing break, so peaceful in the mountains, taking in the breathtaking views over Paphos’ coastline. No creepy crawlies due to there being no humidity in the mountains so also no mosquitoes! Bonus. The nearby village (Kathikas) is full of friendly people and some great authentic restaurants to choose from. Short drive to Coral Bay with a great beach. There are also bars and restaurants there too. Will definitely return for a 3rd visit! Nici & Nick x x

The beautiful village of Kathikas

We had a great stay in Kathikas and would highly recommend the area. Demi and Maria were outstanding hosts and when we extended for 2 weeks they helped us sort out a move. Nothing was any bother and any queries dealt with promptly and professionally. The village is gorgeous with many fantastic restaurants and the people incredibly friendly. We are hoping to buy a place nearby and will definitely pop by to say hello to Demi and Maria! Thank you both for a lovely stay!

Fantastic villa

We have just returned from a two week stay , the villa was very clean and spacious and had everything you need for a great stay . We are a party of 6 , 3 adults and 3 children , the kids loved the pool which was very clean and well kept. Demi was most helpful and even organised our transfer from the airport which was excellent . The villa is a 5 minute walk in to Kathikas which has some great tavernas and restaurants the Farm Yard been our favourite . We hired a car mid way through our holiday to explore some of the island which was great , it was our first visit to Cyprus and we loved it. The day we came home we had a late flight and we were only collected from the villa at 7pm Demi’s mum let us stay at the villa until we were collected this made a very big difference to our last day and was a very kind gesture as they did not charge us anything for the extra day. If you want a nice spacious villa with some excellent places to eat in your door step then I can recommend this villa . Thank you Demi we have some lovely memories of our stay .

Lovely villa in charming village

Enjoyed our stay very much in this lovely villa. Perfect for having a really chilled out time. Nice views & so peaceful. Lovely village of Kathikas with some really good restaurants such as Imogen's, Farmyard & Petradaki. Demi the owner lived just a couple of villa's away and was always available if there were any problems which there wasn't. The perfect host. If we ever come back to Cyprus then this is where we would stay again !

Fabulous villa in a great location

A fantastic villa. We really enjoyed the pool both day and early evening, the outside area was large & impressive with a pretty garden, huge BBQ, outside sun loungers, shower and a dining table & loungers under the patio...perfect for shade! Indoor was very spacious with clean marble surfaces, staircase & floors keeping the whole area cool. The bedrooms were large with air con & the beds comfortable. Balconies provided a wonderful view of the mountains & we enjoyed watching the sunset. Our two teenage daughters had there own rooms & shared bathroom allowing us good privacy with our ensuite. The kitchen was fitted well with most utensils required & a good selection of crockery. The village of Kathikas was sleepy in the day & then brought to life at night with a great selection of restaurants which you could walk to. We visited; Petradaki with its fantastic view & enjoyed the meze which was wonderful but be warned the portions are huge & I felt like hiding when the dishes just kept coming! Stekki very original, quaint & traditional. We again had meze, this time it was smaller portions & more manageable, the service here was very family friendly & the best welcome we had to our holiday. Imogen's, here we loved the food, location is quaint & service quick but not overly friendly. We loved the chicken pie, moussaka and tiramasu & my daughter found the pizzeria an added bonus, so much so we returned on our last evening even though we were then staying in Coral bay! Upper Peyia is very friendly with a good range of local grocery stores, we found a chilling cabinet in one full of desserts! Troodos mountains was a favourite, visiting the Kykkos monastery & Calendonian waterfall. Aphrodite rock was fun, a beautiful spot & some snorkelling with small fish around the rock. Aphrodite water park is great family fun with a good range of slides, food is limited & a little over priced for what you get, there is a happy hour on drinks which is worth listening out for. The floor in here can get quite hot so water shoes are ideal for small children. West coast peninsula is beautiful and if you hire a car go. The beaches are lovely & quiet, Lara bay has the turtle nests & the sea caves are impressive to see. Phaphos harbour is beautiful by night, The Harbour restaurant has good seafood. Coral bay is lively & provides many shops & bars, we ate at Trattoria La Vigna a lovely italian with great service. Leicestershire family with teenage girls.

Relaxing Summer Break

We stayed at Villa Taki for 10 nights in July. Before arriving the owner gave us concise and extremely helpful directions on how to get from the Paphos airport to the villa. After about a 45 minute drive we found the villa with no problems whatsoever. We arrived just in time to see the sunset at the bottom of the garden and we were instantly in love with the place. Bread, cheese, bacon, eggs, milk, fruit juice, apples, bananas and more were already waiting for us at the villa which was much appreciated after travelling from the UK. The villa was exceptionally clean, spacious and well-maintained. The bedrooms were spacious, the linen was clean and there was an abundance of towels available to use. Air conditioning in every room worked a treat. Outdoor was spacious and had plenty of loungers to spend the day. The pool was thoroughly enjoyed as an escape from the afternoon sun. The BBQ was used extensively and kept us all well fed throughout our stay. The villa is a very short walk from the lovely villa of Kathikas and about a 10 minute drive to the town of Pegeia. A car is definitely recommended if you stay at the Villa and the villa’s location means it is a great hub for exploring all the local towns and coastal resorts. During our first day the owner (Maria) came to greet us to make sure everything was OK and she kindly let us know that if we needed anything we only needed to ask her. Maria told us that she lived in the villa two doors should we need any help or information. Halfway through our stay Maria’s daughter (Demi) also came to make sure everything was OK which was much appreciated. You can tell the owners really want to make all guests feel welcome and to make sure that guests enjoy their stay, and Maria and Demi both helped in making our stay in Cyrpus a memorable one. We will definitely be recommending the villa to all our friends and family who are thinking of visiting Cyprus.

Attractive villa in peaceful surroundings.

This is a clean, bright, well appointed, spacious villa, set in beautiful surroundings. The owners were friendly but unobtrusive and provided a generous welcome pack. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this villa and would certainly consider returning in the future.

Best Mediterranean holiday

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at Lastokkos villas (No 5) the villa is ideally situated in the mountain town of kathikas, about 20 minutes drive from Corral Bay, Kato Paphos to the south or Polis and Latchi to the north, which made it a perfect location ( if you hire a car ) to base ourselves from. Kathikas is a short walk from the villa and has some excellent restaurant experiences, meze meze was a real treat, we would recommend a Friday night to join in the entertainment, for good value take away / or dine in vatou serves an excellent traditional kebab for €5. The villa was spacious, fresh and clean, with a beautiful views and wonderful pool and bbq facilities. In the evening you can enjoy a cool breeze to take the edge of the Cyprus heat and enjoy the still and quiet of the location whilst you look over the bay. Finally and importantly the owners, who live on the private road are lovely people who really care about your stay and we would like to end our review by thanking them for what was a superb holiday.

Relaxing retreat

Just returned from villa Demetra, spent 9 nights, wish we had spent longer! Arrived to a very welcome food pack, water, milk, bread, fruit, salad, coffee all the essentials needed for our first morning, especially as we arrived at about 2 in the morning. Villa was excellent. Very clean, had no complaints about any aspect of our stay. The journey to the nearest decent supermarket was about 20 mins into Pegia, but the views were outstanding. The peace and tranquility at villa Demetra was a real bonus. I would return to this villa tomorrow if I could,
