Cozy Brookside Home in the Heart of Kansas City!

Stay in hip, upscale Brookside! We're a duplex in the heart of Kansas City. Walk to eclectic eateries and shops, the Trolley Trail, Whole Foods and grocery stores.

1,500 square feet of homey deliciousness spread over 3 levels with a bathroom on each. Decorated with original and vintage art. One parking space on the property plus free street parking. Fully fenced backyard (rock, not lawn) with deck, fire pit, bistro lights, patio set and gas grill.

2 gigabytes of super fast Google WiFi and a smart TV with a YouTube TV subscription in 4 rooms. Everyone can do their own thing: stream, classes, remote work, game and video chat, all at the same time.

Centrally located, we're a short drive to the Plaza, Westport, Waldo, Union Station, Sprint Center, Power & Light, the Convention Center, Loose Park, Crown Center, UMKC and the Chiefs and Royals stadiums.

Check in with a smartphone app or keypad code. Washer/dryer. Coffee maker, grinder, kettle, blender, toaster, fully stocked kitchen. Towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, iron, board, coffee and tea. Four pillows on each bed. USB towers and lamps on each end table, makeup and full-length mirrors. Board games, record player, and a Pacman arcade game! 5 roomy closets.

We are permitted in Kansas City, MO and meet all code, safety, and regulatory requirements: handrails, int/ext lighting, fire, smoke, monoxide detectors, basement egress window.

Please note there are two motion-activated exterior cameras (video/audio) located at the entry doors, and a Ring doorbell (video/audio).

When you book, please include a message saying the city and state you’re traveling from, and what brings you to Kansas City. Thanks!

This rental was perfect for our needs. Excellent location: close to shops, restaurants, not too far from KC attractions. The house had everything we needed and more. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, cooking utensils, cabinet space, closet space, fun decor and the PacMan arcade game was a huge hit! We loved having lots of bathrooms and even a washer/dryer. Couldn't ask for more.

Absolutely perfect stay! The place was so clean and exactly what we expected from the listing. Great neighborhood and not too far from anything. Host was very responsive and checked in on us to ensure everything was going well. Highly recommend!

Brookside Duplex

We spent a long weekend in KC with another couple and this house provided enough space for us to spread out. The weather was not good enough for us to enjoy the back deck and fire pot or upstairs balcony—maybe next time! The kitchen has utensils and dishes for the four of us. Beds are comfortable and neighbors are quiet. Distant sirens but nothing we couldn’t tune out. Very clean. Would stay here again.

Brookside comfort

We came for a long weekend to visit our daughter and her boyfriend. Location was great, quiet and felt safe. Small fenced in yard for our pup was easily accessible off the back porch. Well cared for home with everything we needed for our stay. Definitely would stay again!

Plenty of room for three adults. Comfortable . Thoughtful touches like umbrellas - we used them one very rainy day to walk over to the coffee shop. Just the right supplies provided for a long weekend.

Graduation

Stayed for Rockhurst Graduation location close to Brookside and campus. Amnesties were great and having coffee available was nice. Beds were comfortable and the patio was awesome. Grill worked great.

Fantastic place!

This home was a great home away from home for us while traveling to KC for my daughter’s volleyball tournament in downtown KC, MO. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. Lydia was a gracious host and made sure we had everything we needed including snacks and extra water. She was easy to communicate with and answered any questions I had quickly. We would recommend this beautiful neighborhood/area to anyone looking to stay there. It was easy to get everywhere we needed to be. All within a 15 minute drive or less.

Very nice location and we all loved the home! Comfort was top-notch! Coffee shop, Heirloom Bakery, around corner was a wonderful place for coffee and a light breakfast.
