Midtown-Westport is an eclectic area, known for the Westport entertainment area, with festive brewpubs, DJ bars and retro-chic diners serving American comfort food. During the day, the scene centers on trendy fashion boutiques. Neighboring Midtown has historic buildings like the Thomas Hart Benton Home, with tours of the painter’s studio and gardens. Trails wind through nearby Roanoke Park, encircled by bluffs.

The neighborhood is right in the heart of Kansas City. It is a very convenient location with easy access to any stores, restaurants and local attractions that you can think of.
Less than 5 minutes to the Westport, Plaza, Nelson Atkins Museum, Kansas City Art Institute, UMKC and Kemper Museum.
10 minutes to downtown KC, Crown Center, Lego Land and Sea Life Aquarium
10 minutes to Hy-Vee arena
20 minutes to Worlds of Fun, Arrowhead and Royals stadiums
We are only minutes from Sun Fresh and Midtown Market grocery store. 2-3 minute drive to CVS, Walgreens, and Starbucks.

This private condo is located on the top floor of a triplex and is decorated with modern furniture and fully stocked with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay.

Make sure to check out the photos of the shower. The ceiling curves in so if you are taller than 6 ft you might not like it.

Pets are welcome for a nominal pet fee - $100 per pet/per month for long term stays
Pets must be crated while unsupervised, house trained, and are not allowed on the furniture or in the beds.

No parties or gatherings.
The number of people in the unit may not exceed the guest count on the reservation unless special permission has been granted. This extends to the building amenities as well.

The Apartment Unit worked out good for us. Our stay here was the last weekend of a week long vacation - so we had fairly large bags to lug up a LOT of steps - but we knew it was on the 3rd floor and certainly can't fault the Unit for that - just reiterating. Otherwise the place looked just like the photo's communication with the Manager went well. Balcony was nice for morning coffee and an evening wine. All worked out well !

Pictures online make this property out to be this charming “Martha Stewart-like” place in a quaint neighborhood. In reality it was more like off-campus student housing. The neighborhood is sketchy at best. Run down and crusty. We took one look inside and started searching for a hotel. We decided not to even stay there a single night. The host was horrible at responding to my messages requesting even a partial refund since we didn’t stay. He told us he would get back to us soon, but never did. I had to hound him over a the course of 2 weeks from after our weekend in KC. I’ve used VRBO before this and I always got what I expected from the listing (most of the time my expectations were exceeded). This was a disappointment to say the least.

So cute. Loved the neighborhood and its proximity to the downtown. We walked all over. Air-conditioned well in the hot weather we experienced. We stayed in the refurbished attic that had a sweet deck attached; I would definitely have liked to stay longer. TV connection was spotty and that's the only thing I have to say about that. Dog-friendly!!! So great!

Nice older home, near Nelson Atkins Musuem. It was three flights up but even though I'm older was able to go up and down stairs with no problems. The house was comfortable. Beds were very soft and comfortable. Bathroom was small. Window blinds in bathroom were broken so made it hard to not have people see in at night. Took a towel and rigged it on blinds to try and have some privacy. Since it was on 3rd floor most people wouldn't be able to see in. Only people that could have would have been in upper floors in nearby buildings. Overall it was comfortable.

The best way to describe this place is if u took a crapy low income apt up 3 flights of stairs in the attic and put nice stuff inside it. It was very clean and private which is better the hotel in times of covid. the bed was soft wish I could take it with me. Good roku tv. The balcony and window are nice addiction

My wife and I really enjoyed our time in this condo. It is in a renovated older home and the finishes are great! The furnishing are brand new and it is tastefully done. The pictures we saw online were of a different unit than what was sent to us in the confirmation. We saw pictures of the 3rd floor on VRBO, but were booked to stay on the second floor. This was probably in our favor as the top floor would have been a bit smaller. As is the case will all older homes, the floors are a bit noisy, and the temperature is a bit hard to keep consistent..... but the location, furnishings and feel were AMAZING! You are literally blocks from Country Club Plaza.

This property is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway or even longer. Has everything you need, it's clean and close to many things that we wanted to visit in KC. Deck with table and chairs is perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring and having a nice a quiet glass of wine before bed. Thank you for making us feel at home. If we are back to KC we would definitely seek to stay at the same place. Thanks, again!
