NEW private fenced in pet friendly yard with fire pit!

Enjoy world class starry night skies just 7 miles from downtown Kanab.

Centrally located to Zion, Bryce Canyon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Lake Powell, and local attractions. Just a straight shot down Hwy 89 from House Rock Valley Rd and The Wave.

Beautiful open concept log cabin with a private queen bedroom and another private bedroom containing a twin/full bunk bed suitable for kids or adults, with Xbox 360.

Tastefully decorated with my own Fine Art Photography prints of the area.

The property is 3 acres and contains a larger cabin, and your 2br Casita, separated by a garage in between. Please note that this listing only includes access to the Casita. Garage and larger cabin access are not included.

Pets are allowed but require an additional $70 fee for cleaning. Please Let me know after booking if you are planning on bringing your pet along!

Great communication from the host, Ryan. The casita/cabin was the perfect size for our home base while we visited area attractions. The house had everything we needed and was supplied with tp, paper towels, trash bags, hand soaps, as well as a shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser in the shower/tub. There were tide pods and dishwasher pods as well- though I brought my own detergent. As others mentioned, the binder of maps and local recommendations was super helpful. The neighborhood was quiet and the porch provides a great morning sunrise view. We found the temp in the house to be easily adjusted to be comfortable. It’s a small space so it didn’t take long to cool down or warm up. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kanab is a cute little town with a lot of charm. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Little Cabin in a Great Location

This vacation home was very easy to find and is in a great location to access most of the sites in the area. Kanab is a short less than 10 minute drive a way. There are a couple of decent grocery stores there to get anything you need. The State liquor store has a reasonable wine selection. You may want o bring your own alcohol though unless the major brands is your thing. Internet is very good so you can easily work from here or watch your steaming TV services if you want. The kitchen has most of the things you need to make your own meals. My personal benchmarks of a vacation home: 1 - water pressure is good so the showers were nice. 2 - bed and pillows were very good. 3 - seats in the living area were very comfortable. There is a trail (Mansard Trail) across the main road that takes you up to a cave with petroglyphs. This is a really nice walk but not dog friendly unless you can lift them above your head due to a little scramble about half way. It is easy to get up but just to high for a dog. Ryan was very easy to deal with. He was very prompt in answering questions and very detailed in the information he provided.

Upon arrival after are long drive, the cosmic casita embraced our family with a warm welcome. The host was very responsive to any inquires, also provided a local contact in the event of an emergency. Well organized activities list to explore. Mansard trail is located minutes away. Enjoyed our stay and the residents that we encountered; very helpful. Will definitely be returning.

Cozy and Warm

Ryan is a great host. Instructions were left very clear and the do’s and don’t’s listed. We appreciated the binder of idea and places to visit. House/Casita had enough room for what we needed on our stay and more (myself,partner, and our dog). The environment was very clean and cleaning supplies were easily accessible if needed. Most importantly were the outdoor spaces, it met all of our needs. Coming from Southern California to South Utah to disconnect from the everyday work life was extremely important for us to keep our sanity. Definitely will consider returning to South Utah and staying with Ryan again.

Really Enjoyed our stay!

This is a clean quiet 2 bedroom house. The host Ryan was super friendly and responsive. Location is a short easy drive to the center of town. We came with our UTV’s and had great access to some of the best off-road trails in So Utah. I would recommend and stay here again.

Cute and Quiet my

Perfect little cabin for my 5 days on Kanab! Kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and utensils as well as spices. It was very quiet and the cabin was super clean on arrival. Ryan communicated well! I’d stay here again!

Nice, small cabin

Nice but small cabin in good location to Kanab. Looked larger than the pics. No A/C in bedroom that did get quite warm at night during September even with the windows open. Overall, feels like the cabin needs some TLC. There’s also nothing to walk to around the cabin, even for a morning or evening stroll. It’s great that the cabin is dog friendly but there’s no grass and the stones/gravel throughout the property can be rough on a dog’s paws.

Wonderful stay at the Cosmic Casita!

What a lovely casita-- the property was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The beds were wonderfully comfortable and it was a perfect place to use as our home base while we explored the Zion National Park area!

Dog friendly casita with dogs

We loved our stay at this casita. It was perfect for my daughter and I and our two dogs. We loved the location which is several miles east of Kanab making it a little quieter than being in town, and we still had great cell phone coverage and WiFi. The property has a nice fenced area for the dogs. The property was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the owner was super responsive during our stay. Can’t wait to come back to this one!

We visited for post spring break. We had 2 small kids with us. It's nice cozy, small family rental property in remote like settings. there are neighbors but not too close. Good location to town, shopping, attractions. Host very easily approachable and attentive. Keep up good hospitality. thanks.
