AMAZING PROPERTY!! VERY PRIVATE & VERY SPACIOUS HOME, INCLUDES VIP PASS TO PRIVATE BEACH CLUB.

This Phase One Maile plan with its direct west facing view and end of cul-de-sac location is a gem. Immaculately maintained with many developer and custom upgrades. The custom cabinetry in the Great Room is beautiful and functional with a pop-up TV function, glass shelving, spacious cabinetry and much more. The outdoor kitchen has been upgraded with a Viking BBQ, Sub Zero bar fridge, etc. Even the garage has been upgraded with epoxy flooring finish. Developer upgrades include mahogany window trims, sound system, lower-level workstation and upgraded marble in the lower-level master bathroom. We invite you to escape to our beautiful Hawaiian hide-away. The luxurious deluxe townhome is located in a private gated community within the lush Mauna Lani resort. Our home is beautifully appointed with top-of-the-line tropical furnishings. The Maili layout is an open floor plan with multiple lanais and fully retractable sliding glass doors to make the most of Hawaii's indoor/outdoor lifestyle with almost 3,200 square feet of living space including the lanais. Amenities abound including access to a free form pool and exercise room within the Villages complex, access beach pass to the Private Mauna Lani Beach Club, walking distance to the major Mauna Lani resort hotels, The Shops at Mauna Lani and the Mauna Lani Spa and Fitness Center.

Although gourmet restaurants are a quick stroll away, should you decide to cook your own gourmet meal at home, the kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you will need including stainless steel cookware and appliances, dishwasher, prep island with sink, large Sub-Zero refrigerator, granite countertops and on the main lanai, an oversized Viking BBQ grill, Sub-Zero bar fridge, etc. with dining table for 6. There is a second lanai off the kitchen area and is a wonderfully quiet and private spot for morning coffee, afternoon cocktails, reading a book or just passing the time away.

On the second floor, the spacious master bedroom is furnished with a California king sized bed, walk-in closet with built in cabinets, a large En-suite bathroom with double sinks, soaking tub and shower. It was a clean beautiful home. There were extras like snorkle gear, boogie boards, and beach chairs. Appliances were up to date and all working. The owners (hosts) were very attentive to us as we communicated with them. We love the location on the Kohala coast. We would choose to stay there again and again. Thanks Laura Lee and Raymond.

The house was perfect for our family of 6. Ourselves and our two married sons and their wives. Plenty of room, every supply you would need on a beach holiday. The indoor space and outdoor space were lovely. The pool and hot tub were great after a day at the beach. Would definitely go back! Communication was quick and helpful. Would have been great to have 2 more beach chairs as there were 6 of us, but we made do! It was an amazing family trip!

The property was beautiful, well-equipped, airy and comfortable. We loved being a short walk to the pool/ fitness center and a short bike ride to the shops, which included the grocery store, coffee shop, juice shop and a couple of restaurants. One highlight was access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club. A beautiful sandy beach with great snorkeling and a beach path along the shore through ancient fishponds and tide oools and other beaches. The restaurant at the beach club served good food in a lovely setting. Our location was a short ride to Waikoloa for Sunset at the Lava Lava Beach Club and morning helicopter ride as well as the Mauna Kea Luau. An hour from kona for scuba, snorkel and night swim with the mantas. Overall everyone enjoyed having their space, the host was very friendly and responsive, the lanai was a lovely place to drink coffee and watch hummingbirds. We loved it!

We loved this place! It’s huge, stunning, spotless and very well equipped. The location is so convenient for the Kohala beaches, groceries and shops. And the beach club access is AMAZING! The snorkeling, restaurant and facilities there are terrific. Smooth communication too. Highly recommended for sure.

We were traveling with our 3 teenage grandsons and it was wonderful for them to have the downstairs at times and us to be upstairs. They LOVED the workout/gym area and used it every night. Great to have such beautiful bathrooms! Laura Lee was so nice to communicate with at any time. Mahalo! Laurel

Wow is all I can say!. I have been to many beaches in the Hawaiin Islands and the private beach is the most family friendly beach I have ever been to. The property is located in a quiet gated community. We really liked the feeling of being away from crowds. If you want to experience a slice of Hawaii this is the place to bring your family.

The home was very nice. Communication with owner excellent. Pool close by as well as coffee shop! Small negatives - ice maker did not work, upstairs was difficult to cool down and most of the scheduled activities were only in Kona, A bit of a drive.

Group of us stayed here for the Honu Half Ironman. The house is beautiful & was clean upon our arrival. Laura and Ray are great and responsive hosts and unfortunately had to deal with multiple maintenance issues during our stay. The AC unit was not working efficiently upon our arrival and the hosts dropped down the temp virtually. Couple days later the AC unit fully stopped working and a service man had to come the following day during our dinner to fix it. Unfortunately this was a temporary fix as the AC unit broke again a day and a half later. During our 12 day stay we had 4 service calls to our property. We had requested a partial refund for the stay which the hosts denied but offered a discount on future stays. Unfortunately we have no plans on returning to the Island as a group. Laura and Ray were great and responsive throughout the issues but disappointing on their refund stance as we didn't receive the comfort and amenities that we paid for. Lesson learned to all is if you have any issues or troubles with your stay, make VRBO aware right away to start a ticket as doing it directly with the host after the fact won't work.

We really enjoyed this property, the hosts do a great job of having all the amenities you could ever need for your stay include everything you may need to cook at home. Top of the line appliances, bikes and beach equipment were nice but really the private beach has chairs for guests to use if arrive early can use the cabana’s. There is a black sand beach nearby as well, again limited parking arrive early. Snorkeling off both beaches was fabulous enjoyed it as much as at Captain Cook. Communication with the host was amazing she was very quick to get back to us with any questions we had. The location here was great for us and do plan on returning thank you so much.

Our family, 5 adults &1 child stayed at the property in Oct '23-loved everything about it! Communication with owner was great before and during our visit. The neighborhood was beautiful, clean and quiet. Home was spacious, very clean, beautifully decorated, and provided so many little things which made our stay comfortable. Highly recommend reading the Welcome Booklet when you arrive as it will answer many of your questions and let you know of important rules for the neighborhood. They also provide great information for the area. We had planned to eat in often and decided to use Instacart to order groceries ahead of time from Costco & Target. They were delivered a few hours after we arrived, which was so nice as we had a long day of travel. Recommend preparing your order a few days ahead so you have time to make changes. Also, you'll want to check with the owner about which gate code to give the delivery person. Nearby there is a very nice Foodland grocery store which had the extra things that we needed later. The private beach at the Mauna Lani Beach Club was excellent! We traveled around the island and our family thought the private beach was the best of them all. It was quiet, clean, plenty of shade and chairs with calm waters which was great for our preschooler. But the best part was the snorkeling! We saw more sea life there than on any other beach!! Overall, we can highly recommend this property. If we every make it back to the Big Island, we'll be using it again!

This stay exceeded all of our expectations. Communication with the owners/property managers was second to none, with timely and informative answers to all our questions. The check-in process was seamless, and we were made to feel very welcome upon arrival. The housekeeping staff were friendly, welcoming, and extremely diligent when cleaning and stocking supplies. Speaking of supplies... laundry detergent was provided, along with dishwashing detergent, coffee and accoutrements, etc. We were very grateful for this. I can't say enough about the property. The condo was even better than the pictures. Cleanliness was exemplary. Rooms/spaces wee large and airy., extremely comfortable bed and pillows, large and modern bathroom, and the couch was luxurious. We could live here quite happily. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed when staying in to cook and dine. Shopping is driveable, or a short cab ride if you do not have a vehicle. We enjoyed some quieter times spent in the condo as well. Thank you Laura Lee!

There was SO much space to spread out in this gorgeous property. We stayed at a second location on a different part of the island the second half of the week, and my kids kept asking to return to our first house! Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and lanai were all gorgeous. Amenities were great - kids loved the community pool. The gear available for use on our beach days was utilized and very appreciated. Communication was prompt, friendly and helpful. Would Highly recommend this property.
