Looking for a quiet retreat?

This beautiful property is approx. 1hr 20min north of Auckland and approx. 12km from Kaiwaka township.

Located in the Kaipara Harbour this newly built house, which can accommodated 6 adults, has three double bedrooms - one with a tranquil bush outlook and the other two with stunning sea views that lead to an expansive deck area.

A modern well equipped kitchen and a BBQ will allow you to create some great meals and enjoy a glass of wine whilst taking in the breath taking views.

There are two beautifully appointed bathrooms and a spacious lounge, dining area.

Adjacent to the property is a public boat ramp so hook up the boat and do a spot of fishing.

A small bush track from the property leads down to the water great for a stroll along the water’s edge.

Kaiwaka shops offer all the essentials – supermarket, café’s, bottle store, bakery, Indian Restaurant and the very well known Kaiwaka Cheese shop which not only stocks a large selection of cheese but also deli items and raw super foods.

We know you will love it and will want to book it however please know we will need information about the group dynamic (family groups, couples, singles) ages and purpose of the visit before accepting any bookings.

We will not tolerate excessive noise levels. Parties and extra guests are not permitted.


Special conditions: Minimum stay of 2 nights except during public holidays/long weekends when the minimum stay is 3 nights, min stay requirements for Dec/Jan on application.

Smoking allowed outside only.

Pets allowed with prior approval, however the section is not fenced.

Beaut bolt hole close to city

a lovely, modern home with great outlook. Easy drive from the city and close to services, while being off the beaten path. Getting to Atiu Farm Park and across to Mangawhai very quick.Loved our stay.

Rangiora road, Kaiwaka paradise!

Fabulous property and way better than the photos! Really enjoyed our stay and only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Beautifully appointed property and would highly recommend to anyone. The views of the harbour are ever changing and there is no need to leave although we did a few times to explore the eastern beaches. Handily placed to Kaiwaka and the cool Eutopia cafe and yummy cheese shop. Friendly and helpful neighbours too. Thanks again Dene. You’ve done a great job designing and building this wonderful home. Stunning waterfront oasis

wow - what an incredible place!!! Literally everything you see in the photos and more! Dene's home is new, stylish and the location is to die for. The perfect spot to relax and enjoy the spa and I imagine in summer it would be amazing utilising the sea for fishing and boating. Overall a lovely relaxing space

Beautiful property- Home away from home!

Beautiful property with the most tranquil views and the most eclectic decor. Beds were very comfortable and the bedspreads were very clean. Our stay here was nothing less than amazing. Our host Dene, has put in heart and soul in every corner of the property and has taken care of the minutest details. Highly recommended, will be definitely coming back again :)

Doesn't get any better

Can’t imagine a more perfect place. Tucked away in an oasis at the end of a beautiful windy road towards the water. Felt like our own private island. And the house is exquisite! We were a group of three couples and felt very spacious and enjoyed the layout, especially the bedrooms being away from the main gathering area. The house was pristine, the service was fantastic, and this is such good value for money. We arrived Friday afternoon and had no reason to leave the house till Sunday. Still can’t believe the gorgeous views. The photos don’t even do it justice! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Pure bliss.

We stayed here with our family and have two 1 year old girls. It was absolutely amazing and did not want to leave! Communication with Dene was also amazing, we were stuck in heavy traffic and were not going to make it to the Bach by check in time but Dene understood and allowed us to stay a bit longer to make up for the missed time. Her home was absolutely gorgeous. Clean, tidy and comfortable. The house is overlooking the lovely Kaipara harbour and has a beautiful big lawn with plenty of room for our littlies to run around. The rooms are big enough for us to fit a port-a-cot as well as having space for all of our things. The spa was DIVINE! We couldn’t wait to relax under the stars with a glass of wine at the end of the day. We cannot wait to come back here and create more memories as a family. I am looking forward to staying here again soon. Thanks so much Dene.
