Spectacular Ocean Front Condo: 2 bedroom - 2 bath

This VERY NICE irresistible, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is our home away from home for a portion of the Winter. It is on the water and has a stunning ocean front view. The unit has been newly painted and updated. The freshly updated kitchen includes new cherry cabinets; beautiful granite counter tops; a flat-surface, smooth-top range; and state-of-the-art appliances. The bathrooms have been completely updated with new tile and paint. All major rooms have ceiling fans.

This luxury unit is on the third (top) floor, which has the best view of the ocean, and features a fully-equipped kitchen,beautiful tropical furnishings, private lanai, cable TV, washer and dryer. We've also included beach towels, coolers, and backpacks as well as stocked the kitchen with pots and pans and some spices. You'll also find a full bookshelf and a notebook of our recommendations for
restaurants, things to do, and maps of the island.

We do have FREE internet access plus Wi-Fi in our condo via cable.

The Alii Villas complex is located 1 mile south of Kailua-Kona. The property is set at the water's edge among lovely gardens and coastal palms. Our central location is perfect to watch the ocean sunsets, far enough away from noise and traffic, but a short walk to the center of town. Here, you'll have the opportunity to relax at the pool, have a BBQ, or sit on the rocks and watch the sun set over the blue Pacific.

Ferienwohnung mit tollem Ausblick

Unser Aufenthalt war schön, die Wohnung war ok, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Leider waren zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes größere Renovierungsarbeiten im Haus und auf dem Gelände, was hier und da etwas gestört hat. Liegt halt in einer großen Anlage, wo stets etwas los ist. Die Ausstattung mutet etwas rustikal, funktionell war hingegen alles top. Der Blick vom Balkon entschädigt für Alles. Viele Ventilatoren aber keine Klimaanlage. Das muss man wissen. Wir brauchen das nicht, andere hingegen könnten damit ein Thema haben.

Stayed for IM World Championships

Really enjoyed my stay here. Had everything I needed for the 2 weeks I stayed. Such a lovely apartment. Approx 35-40 minutes to where the IM took place and approximate 45 mins to the big supermarkets. Located right on the run course and you could even see the swim course from the balcony. Would definitely recommend staying here and would happily stay again. You would not be disappointed.

World Class View

The Lanai View was the highlight of the home. Ocean breeze and views for days. Jim was a breeze to work with as well. Really appreciated the opportunity to stay here!!

Best view in town!

The property is as described. Maybe could use some updating and more attention to the cleaning - but a very comfortable space and end unit which is great. It’s really all about the view! We spent most of our time on the lanaii enjoying sunsets and watching the cruise ships come and go. We had stayed at this complex before and like the location, grounds and pool. We had an issue at check in but the owner and property manager were very attentive and responsive.

Condo is in a great location, 15 minute walk to downtown Kona. Situated perfectly for beautiful sunsets and to watch cruise ships arrive. Unit is complete with everything one would require for your stay. Jim, the owner of the unit, is extremely helpful and accommodating in every way. Although it is an older unit, I would rate our overall experience a 5 out of 5.

Awesome Condo

Beautiful condo with great water view. Very comfortable. Plenty of beach equipment including boogie boards, snorkels, beach chairs and towels. Even coolers! Owner is very responsive and answered questions quickly before our stay. Clean and lots of supplies like spices and oils etc. Would definitely stay here again!!

The owner is very professional, efficient and accommodating. The property is very close to restaurants and dining options. Grocery is only a few mins drive. The condo does not have air conditioning so be prepared for humidity. Some electric fans in the home does not blow enough air. Overall a great place except for the absent of an AC.

Fantastic ocean view

Our stay was good. The lanai has a direct view of the ocean, which is fantastic for watching sunsets. The location is nice. The condo has mostly everything you'd need for your vacation. As against the description states, I don't think this would qualify as "luxurious" in 2023. A few reasons: this is on top floor, and there's no elevator. The 2nd bedroom isn't a real one, but section of the living area carved out. The bedroom gets noise from nearby residents (windows aren't good enough)

Amazing Kailua-Kona Condo

Our stay was incredible. The oceanfront view was so beautiful to wake up to each morning. The condo also had everything we were looking for and even had a booklet for recommendations around the Big Island. We also appreciated the beach towels and chairs for our beach and snorkel days. The condo is also a comfortable walk or short drive away from town for good coffee, restaurants and shopping too. Jim was also an excellent host and was communicative from the beginning of our stay to the end. Highly recommend staying here in Kona. Aloha!

Awesome stay

Me and my family had an amazing time in kona, this place was near restaurants and the other activities. I would have preferred better fans for the hot summer days but was hardly an issue. Would stay again if ever in the area.

Great Place

The house doesn’t have A/c which we were aware of. However, if you open all the windows and back door the breeze was perfect along with the sound of the water hitting the rocks. This property isn’t on a beach but it has great views, a pool, and a couple beaches within 5 minutes on both sides. Magic sand beach is amazing for the family. Beautiful snorkeling, white sand beach, beach volleyball, a little bit of everything for everyone. The home has beach gear that you can use. We were not aware of this and didn’t realize till the last day but the gear is in the bedroom closet. The home is right by downtown Kona which was nice. Lots of people out running and walking. Really feels like your at home.

Oceanside Splendor

Jim and JoAnn's condo was great! From the oceanside location with spectacular sunsets every night, cleanliness of the space, it had all the amenities I was looking for. A quiet location where the loudest thing you hear is the waves crashing on the seawall below. The condo is very spacious and the beds ever very comfortable Jim was very responsive with communication. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Thank you for the nice experience. The location of the apartment is great. The apartment was clean and everything was very well prepared. The arrival and key handover worked great. The communication with the owner (Jim and Joanne) in advance worked very well. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for your vacation. We felt very comfortable. From breakfast on your own balcony you could watch dolphins in the wild. The balcony was very nice and large and you had a direct view of the ocean and could enjoy the sunset in the evening. The kitchen has all the amenities you need for cooking. For a great day at the beach, everything you need is on site, whether it's a sun lounger or parasol. Thank you very much, we would love to come back.
