According to local laws, we have a minimum rental period of 30 days.

This one bedroom apartment sleeps 2 people. It has a King bed in the bedroom with a wall mounted flat screen TV, split AC, glass sliding doors that open to the large covered lanai and grassy back yard. There is also a living area with couch and coffee table, kitchenette with 3/4 size refrigerator and hot plate for light cooking. A microwave, coffee maker, toaster, tea kettle, and all cooking and eating dishes and utensils make the kitchen great for light cooking. The bathroom has a walk in tiled shower, and all beach and bath towels are provided. The apartment has cool ceramic tile and is decorated with crisp, clean white decor and large original prints of local scenic spots.
The apartment has its own parking, private entrance, and the large covered lanai backs onto a grassy yard.

With beautiful Kailua Beach 700 yards away, you can easily walk there in approximately 5 minutes. We provide boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella and a cooler for fun at the beach, and we have an outdoor shower to rinse off extra salt and sand when you get home.

If you want to explore the island, this is a very convenient, central location to do it from. Waikiki, Ala Moana shopping center, Pearl Harbor, the swap meet, and Honolulu are all about 25 minutes away to the South. The North Shore is about 45 minutes away, and Ko Olina and the West side are also about 45 minutes away. Or, if you want to check out the beaches closer to home on the East side, they're all just a short drive. Lanikai Beach is less than 10 minutes away, Waimanalo Beach is about 15-20 minutes away, and of course, Kailua Beach is just a few minutes walk.

Situated down a long drive on a quiet side street, the house is private and peaceful. Landscaped with lush tropical plants and flowers, and a huge grassy lawn, this is a place you can truly relax and unwind, and really experience the laid back local lifestyle.

Eco-friendly, we use non toxic, environmentally friendly, fragrance free laundry soap and cleaning products, and 100% cotton bed linens and quilts.

We are unable to accommodate an arrival past 9pm. The apartment sleeps a maximum of 2 people.

The unit is small, but comfortable. I wish it had a garbage disposal, but I managed without one.I was able to use the washer/dryer in the garage because my son and his family was in the main house.Wi-fi access was quick and easy. TV locations were great. The sofa and bed are very comfortable. There were plenty of bath and beach towels. The induction stove platelet was easy to use. There are sufficient dinnerware and pots and pans.The refrigerator was a good size. There is no ice maker, but you can use ice cube trays for ice, if needed.It was easy keeping the unit clean. The A/C worked very well. The shower is spacious and water pressure was good.My overall stay was great. The unit is comfortable and is close to many things like markets and restaurants. Best of all, the price for the unit is very reasonable. It's a home away from home.

Our stay was great!

First, the owner's description is completely accurate. Then, read the most recent 5 star reviews. They are spot on as well. The property is described as 300 square feet but it certainly feels much larger, and might actually be larger. It is quite suitable for two people and a reasonable amount of belongings. The interior is thoughtfully and tastefully designed and the choice of construction materials is upscale in quality. The A/C is quiet and effective. It is an easy place in which to rest and relax. As others have said, the apartment was very quiet. There is a nearby elementary school and we were there during school days and heard absolutely nothing. At the end of a long driveway, the unit is also secluded and private. The front lawn is huge, perfectly maintained, and lined with beautiful trees and bushes. It is visited by all sorts of lovely birds, including white egrets. We like to take walks late at night and felt that the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. We had a truly wonderful stay and we plan to return.

Location location location.

A great place to stay in Kailua. Avoid the crowds of Honolulu just A couple of blocks to the best beach on the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - and will be back!

Perfect for us!

Beautiful apartment for two, with comfy king bed, close to beach, awesome walk -in shower, well appointed kitchenette, beautiful back yard and lanaii. Close to several beautiful beaches and breathtaking scenery. Quiet, safe, family neighborhood and small(ish) town with shopping and restaurants. It's away from the constant bustle of Honolulu, but only a 25 minute drive away. It really was perfect for our stay on the windward side of the island.

Agréable séjour

Nous avons passé tout le mois d’août dans cette location. Amanda nous a bien aidé par mail avant et pour notre arrivée et a répondu à toutes nos questions. L’appartement est très propre et moderne il ne manque rien beaucoup de serviettes de bain et de plage .Nous prenions tous nos repas sur la terrasse qui est agréable donnant sur une belle pelouse exotique. La plage n’est pas loin à pied. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Perfect location, amazing back yard!

Surpassed expectations. Can’t beat the location a couple blocks from the beach. Had a beautiful patio and big back yard that wasn’t shown but where we spent most of our time. Would highly recommend.

A great stay!

Our stay here was great. A few highlights include; the lanai that overlooked a beautiful grassy yard with flowering trees; proximity to the beach (5 min walk); and a quiet neighbourhood. This was a great home base away from the crowds and bustle. Be sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and the like (as none were provided).

wonderful stay

we absolutely enjoyed our stay here! it was super clean, the floors were spotless, and it was really spacious as well. We really liked how beach equipment (boogie boards, umbrella, and cooler) was provided for our use! Additionally!!! the access and walking distance to the beach was absolutely FANTASTIC. We loved it and felt so lucky to be able to stay here!

Ideal location for a chill vacation week

This place was fantastic. From the quiet family neighborhood to the clean bright apartment to the beach chairs and towels… everything was great. It quickly became our home away from home and was a great base for our daily travels around the island. Would highly recommend!

Excellent value, short walk to beach

Cute place near the beach

Cute place- close to the beach and convenient to explore the rest of the island. Clean. Comfortable bed (even for someone with a bad back.! Would’ve given 5 stars but the kitchen was really poorly stocked- no way could we have made any meals there. Plus only 2 beach towels that got pretty gross by the end of the week. Otherwise everything was lovely.

Peaceful setting, 5 minute walk to beautiful beach.

We enjoyed our stay at cozy 1 bedroom attached apartment. Very clean with nice covered patio for outdoor dining off lovely, large backyard. Perfect place for visiting Kailua and surrounding area. Not set up for elaborate cooking but lots of restaurants and grocery stores with good takeout meals nearby.

Lovely Spot in Kailua

We enjoyed this gem of a Kailua one bedroom cottage. Beautiful expansive yard, grassy lawn with plumeria trees. Kitchen was compact but useful. The A/C was good on those steamy days, but the tradewinds were strong enough to keep us cool. Parking was very easy. Owners are very attentive and responded to one question during our stay. Perfect for a singleton or a couple.
