    Important Notice: Royal Kahana Power and AC Disruption
    Royal Kahana is currently experiencing an electrical power outage, and the air-conditioning system remains out of service due to damage to its components. AC restoration is tentatively estimated for October 18, 2026, but this date is not confirmed. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Overall the property was very nice. The bedrooms were good sized and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. The pool area was nice to sit and hang out after a day at the beach. The food truck onsite was very nice as well.

Perfect location! Saw whales from our balcony. Captain Jacks was a great open air restaurant within walking distance. Very comfortable unit.

Beautiful condo in a convenient location with a balcony, pool access, and an outdoor grill area!

Our family of 5 stayed here for a week and had a great time. It could’ve used more towels and beach towels, but other than that we had a great stay!

Great place to stay at

The place was perfect for 2 couples to stay with plenty of privacy. It had everything you need. Great ocean view from the balcony. Easy check in and check out. Quick and efficient response from the host of the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and view! Clean, lots of Tupperware, beds comfortable! Barbecue and facility was the cleanest I have ever seen anywhere ever! Dryer doesn’t work the best and wish facility had a hot tub but other than that it was a great place to stay! Love that you can walk on the beach!

Loved this condo, large enough for 5 adults. Beautiful views, decorated very nice. Had everything we needed. The views from the lanai were great. Spent the early mornings sitting there looking for whales.

Relaxing!

I have never booked on VRBO, what a nice experience! This spot was more than we expected, even though we didn’t get to spend much time in the room it was the nicest place to come back to! Everything we needed to enjoy our stay! Roomy for the 4 of us, away from the craziness of hotel life, close to amenities, wonderful view from the lanai, pool area clean with lots of chairs and gorgeous views! We will stay here again for sure!

Wonderful stay for families

We had a lovely stay in the perfect location! We only had a slight issue regarding the access code but was resolved in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend for small families.

Beautiful view, Comfy condo, Excellent breeze

The best part about this condo is all the windows. If you open them and turn the AC off you get an amazing breeze that is the perfect temperature day and night.

Beautiful Condo

We had a fantastic time staying in this condo. The floor plan is nice because the master and the second bedroom/bath are on different sides. Nice view of the ocean and the mountains. Fully equipped with everything you need and the Tommy Bahama beach chairs were a definite bonus and saved us a lot of money! We will definitely stay in this unit again if possible!

Beautiful

This home was immaculate, we did report the rug in the front room needs to be tacked down and the A/C in spare bedroom does not get cold. I would stay there again if I ever visited maui.

Relaxing and wonderfyl

This condominium was well appointed and stocked. The pool area was decent size and never over-crowded. The views both morning and evening are spectacular with ocean on one side and mountains on the other. A "convenience" grocery store is nearby but for eat-in type shopping it requires use of a car or service such as taxi, Uber, Lyft -- lots of these readily available.

Perfect location

We had a great time in Maui. This property was in a perfect location to experience the west side of Maui. The property management company was great. The property came with a limited number of everyday items like cups, paper products, soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc. we had to buy many of these for our 10 day stay.

Great for families

The condo worked well for our family. It is spacious, has a great deck, and kitchen is well stocked for cooking. As per the description, we saw a few critters at night in the bathroom and one day the water was shut off to fix a leak in the building. These are consequences of an older building. Overall, we were happy with our stay!

All good

The unit has windows on three sides, and most only have them on two. It was clean, well equipped and as described. The host was easy to contact when there was a minor check in issue. The Royal Kahana has a great pool and lounge area with great clean grills. The only problems were that the vacuum needs some repair and none of the knives are sharp, but that's about it.
