Toast your good fortune as you enjoy dramatic sunsets and the deep blue ocean views from this rare 1-bedroom condo with an enclosed lanai which enlarges the unit's functional living space to 704 square feet. The oceanfront location of our third-floor unit is very much like a cruise ship, allowing you to watch spinner dolphins, sea-turtles, and sailboats. Located on the north end of Kaanapali Beach, just a short walk along the shore takes you to many of Maui's best beaches. Maui Kai 308 is the perfect location!

BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to weather, heavy surf, strong currents, and tides. Due to Maui's rural setting, you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don't kill them. Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Maui is in a tropical climate. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

Good location, short walk to Duke’s. Great whale watching spot from living area, however, we wish there was a lanai. Condo is showing age and maintenance issues- glass missing from one kitchen cupboard door, and air conditioner does not cool bedroom very well. There was a fan in closet which would help provide airflow. Overall good experience.

We loved being centrally located between two stretches of beach. The furnishings and dishes were fine but ceiling tiles fell out in bathroom when we closed the door. The nearby food trucks and grocery store were very convenient. And a quick walk through the parking lot to Dukes was an added bonus

Take a Pass on this one- Stay else where

Had problems with the AC the entire stay, key cards quit working and we were locked out, then let in by the onsite manager and told we couldn't leave or we would be locked out agin until the next day when the cards could be reprogrammed. Maui Property management of no help. Lost a night out in Maui and no one offered any compensation. I reached out to them after our stay and no one even bothered to get in touch. Don't risk your vacation with these clowns- stay somewhere else where you have direct communication with the property managers and not a third party. Lots of great places to choose from, so take a pass on this place.

We had a wonderful stay at this property and would definitely stay here again. The only disappointment was we thought there was a balcony or lanai that you could sit on to separate yourselves from the living area. Otherwise, the property was just as advertised and we very much enjoyed it. The location and views were amazing! Thank you!

The condo is in a convenient location and looks exactly as described in the pictures. Check-in and check-out was easy, and there are restaurants and a food-truck lot in walking distance. I'd stay here again!

view perfection

The condo is clean and easily accessed, comfy bed, good shower and kitchen water power, kitchen filled with all you could need to cook most anything. Bedroom w plenty of closet and drawer space (2 women...stuff!!!), and bed comfy, sound pleasant with the crashing sea at night. We had 20 people staying at the nearby Outrigger, so we walked easily there each day to hang out with them, at their pools and beach swimming & snorkeling. Everyone that visited our condo envied our VIEW! There's a great place to eat at the food trucks, prices not bad for such a variety of choices. We also liked the Jazz bar across the way from trucks for day food and evening fun. The Dole Whip store nearby has better prices for food and drinks, just not as entertaining.

Amazing!

Pictures do not do this unit justice. Corner unit with windows that open all the way up to listen to loud, roaring waves and to see numerous turtles swimming by was indescribable. Definitely will be staying here again!

Wonderful Property

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The pictures are exactly what it's like. Breathtaking view, a sea turtle swimming by was the first thing we saw. The building is showing it's age, but the property has been renovated and feels brand new. The blinds are due to be replaced, but everything else is in excellent condition. The pool in back is nice, but would be nicer if you could see the ocean from it. Plenty of free parking. Food trucks and grocery store right in front. Over $600 in fees and taxes is getting out of control, but that's probably in control of VRBO and the state of Hawaii more than the owner.

Awesome!

Beautiful condo. We had 4 adults and 1 child stay. Plenty of room! The pull out was handy and the blow up bed. All beds were comfortable. Place was clean and affordable. The view was incredible. From our room we saw Sea turtles & whales. A rare monk seal beached for an entire day, they roped him off so no one would bother him. So many things to see and do in this area. We spent a lot of time in Lahaina. Privacy was important for us and we it was perfect. I never needed to contact the property owners for any issues. We ran out of towels on day 2 but there was a washer n dryer on the same floor, so that was convenient. The pictures of the kitchen look outdated-but the kitchen was nice and all the things we needed were available, including beach chairs, binoculars, cooler and much more.

This condo was perfect on the third floor; great view of water and easy access after going to beach. We saw turtles and whales from our room! It's a corner unit too so even better views than some of the other units.

Honeymoon Exceeds Expectations

When I say this was the most enjoyable stay we’ve had together I am not exaggerating! The views are amazing, even on rainy mornings we got to see rainbows! The waves crashing below will put you to sleep! The bed was so comfy after long days of wandering around Maui. The fully equipped kitchen was a plus! The shower is AMAZING! We will definitely be back!

Very comfortable

Our overall experience was very good. The condo itself was very comfortable and relaxing. The complex itself was a bit dated but I knew that going in. The washers didn’t always work nor the change machine but things happen. The pool was a bit small but considering we were in Hawaii, it didn’t matter. The grills and outside kitchen were spotless and very relaxing. Our family enjoyed it very well.
