Welcome to Soul Shine, a charming complete remodel 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat nestled in peaceful Joshua Tree. With a central location, we are just 5 minutes from downtown's eclectic shops and restaurants and only 8 minutes from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Whether you’re seeking a quiet escape or an adventure in nature, our home offers the perfect base for your desert getaway. Relax under the stars or explore the rugged beauty of the area. We can’t wait to welcome you soon!
Soulshine is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house that can accommodate up to 8 guests. This home sits in a quiet residential neighborhood in Joshua Tree. Newly renovated in 2021 it features a mix of mid-century modern and bohemian aesthetic that beckons you to unplug and enjoy the surrounding desert scenery.
The crown jewel of the home is the expansive enclosed backyard. This area was made for entertaining. Stringlights line the horseshoe pit, bocce ball, and corn hole areas. Not into games? Relax around the fire pit, lounge in the hammock, catch sunrise or sunset from the swing chairs, or stargaze in the hot tub. The outdoors are equipped with seating, dining, and bbq grill.
-BEDS & BATHS- Designed for groups of up to 7, There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master has a king sized bed and en-suite. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have queen beds and share the full bath located in the hall. Fully stocked with linens, towels and soaps.
-KITCHEN & DINING- The modern kitchen has everything you need to prepare the perfect meal, including a gas stove, and cabinets stocked with spices and a complete set of cookware. The indoor dining table seats 4, and the island bar top seats 3.
-OUTDOOR SPACE- The outdoor space is stocked with games including horseshoes, bocce ball, and corn hole. There is an outdoor dining table for 6, seating, fire pit, bbq, and hot tub.
-ESSENTIALS- Parking is available for four vehicles. Soulshine is equipped with high speed WiFi, heating and AC. 220V outlet available for EV charing in garage, just bring your own charger.

PLEASE respect our neighbors. Our home is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Noise travels in the thin desert air. No outside noise after 10pm.
NO FIRES OR FIRE PITS ALLOWED by San Bernardino County Fire Department. (controlled propane fire pit that is on the property is ok)
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY use hot tub at your own risk. You will be charged a $400 draining fee if you put any soaps or powders in the hot tub. No jumping, diving, running or rough play near the hot tub area. No glass in the hot tub, there are plastic cups above the wine fridge.
EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit, and additional fees
We have an outdoor camera system on the property to ensure these rules are adhered to.

Perfect location for Joshua Tree National Park Visit

The house was at a great location. Short drive to the grocery store/Starbucks and short drive to Joshua Tree National Park. (short means 10 - 20 min.) The house has a beautiful view from the backyard. I really couldn't have asked for a better house and location. Everything was clean and comfortable. Owner reacted quickly with any requests.

Over advertised

This property was not as it seems in the photos at all. Very small place, not properly set up for rental. No pot and pans, to cook with. Sheet where dirt on arrival, only half the jet worked in the hot tub. Bare concrete for flooring. Every time we adjusted the temperature, to a warmer temperature… homeowners would turn down to 65 with their phone. Very frustrating! No kitchen towels or wash clothes. Just not happy with the rental, first time ever!!

Great Stay

Spent the weekend at here to see Joshua Tree for my mom's 70th. The house is so cute, well stocked! The beds were beyond comfortable and everyone commented on how well they slept. The jacuzzi wasn't working when went. Home owners sent someone out to try and fix it. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to.

Great weekend getaway

Location was great, the home was beautiful, and the backyard was perfect for a relaxing weekend with family. Hiking trails nearby to enjoy the outdoors and scenery. Would recommend and would definitely book again.

AMAZING!

So first of all, this place is better than the photos. It is beautiful inside and out. There is a gorgeous sunrise view from the master bedroom onto the backyard with the Joshua Tree outlined by the changing colors of the sky. There are 3 tvs to hook up with your log ins, the bathrooms are beautiful - a modern art deco-ish style with phenomenal tiles (I want those tiles in our home!). We loved the large outdoor table to eat on the porch and we bundled up with blankets at the firepit with a glass of wine. The location is close to three entrances to Joshua tree national park and close to downtown little shops in J Tree. I recommend the JT trading post, JT Coffee and the Sun of the Desert shop. There are great farmers markets on Sat/Sun/Wed for fresh food. Sky High Pie (pizza) is fantastic. Please disregard whatever recent reviewer said about not enough plates or cutlery. There was everything anyone could need here. And if for some reason you need anything, you just have to text or message the owner, Westley, they are super responsive. I will stay here again if I ever get to come back. We live in North Carolina so it might be awhile. This place is truly fantastic. I used to rent my apt to travelers while I lived in Manhattan. I can tell what care it takes to do this, and these owners do it right. :) Thank you for our stay!

Weekend getaway

Overall the property was Good. Great location. Easy check in progress. Great back yard. The only complaint is the cleanliness. There was hair everywhere including the shower,linen, and the couch that folds out into a bed.

Almost there

This is a beautiful property, and the house is pretty inside. We had six people, and stayed four nights. Sheets are soft, coffee is a nice touch. However, the listing doesn't feel 100% accurate. I do not NOT recommend you sleep more than four people in this place. There are no luggage racks, so more than four people you have no place to put your stuff. I also do not recommend staying longer than the weekend if you plan on cooking. The kitchen is not set up for an extended stay. (Only four chairs at the table, only five forks, four spoons and the can opener didn't work). Also the laundry is on demand, not readily available, we booked this house as the second leg of an extended trip and had to wait for the host to send us information on how to access the washer and dryer. Also the hot tub was kind of quirky, we had to follow up multiple times to have someone service it so it was warm. On the plus side the host is fast to reply. If you plan on eating out every meal, and just looking for a lovely weekend get away, book this place, it is great. If you have a bigger group and or need to use it more like an extended stay, keep looking.

Beautiful home

Stayed here with some friends for my 30th birthday and the house was in the perfect location. Hikes near by as well as restaurants and grocery store is not too far. Overall great stay in this beautiful home.

Amazing place!

I stayed at this place for one night with a group of friends. The house was wonderfully decorated and in terms of its cleanness, it was impecabble. The patio area was perfect for bbqing and chilling. The host was also immensley helpful in a way that he was always responsive and even went the extra mile to mail me my personal belongings that I left behind. Again - it is an amazing place and I definitely recommend this property.

Amazing stay

This is a great place to stay near Joshua Tree National Park and a short drive from downtown Joshua Tree. It’s a beautiful home, very comfortable and has great amenities. The fire pit, hot tub and back porch swings all added to a great vacation.

Can't wait to come back.

Only 2 nights, and wished we had more time to just hangout and enjoy the house and well thought out amenities. Property manager was quickly accessible to answer a question when we arrived. So glad we picked this over a few others we considered.

It’s rare for me to give a 5 star review but this place totally deserves it. Extremely clean. Beautifully decorated. Bed and shower quite comfortable. Thermostats worked great. Location was 👍. I was so comfortable staying I didn’t want to leave. Super glad I found this home on my first visit to Joshua Tree park. Cannot ask for a better experience.
