Nice Weekend Getaway

We are a family of 4 and booked this spot for a long weekend of fishing with our boat. Our plan was to utilize the boat ramp and marina pictured on the listing, and keep our boat trailer at the property as the listing description stated ample parking for 2 vehicles RV/trailer. Unfortunately, there is only 1 narrow driveway, probably okay for 2 small vehicles, but no parking for an RV/trailer. And the neighborhood boat ramp/marina are private, so we ended up having to use another ramp and put the boat in/out every day. As for parking, our 27’ boat took up the full driveway and we had to park our truck in the front yard. Also not stated in the description is the fact that the property is a duplex, so just know there will be noise because of the shared wall. Overall, the unit is clean and a nice location with access to the beach. We made the best of the situation, but an accurate description of the true logistics of the property would have saved us some frustrations.

Clean and Cute cottage

I came in town with family to attend a graduation. The cottage was clean and outfitted with everything we needed to enjoy the beach and make meals at the house. The beds were very comfortable. The host was super responsive when we had questions. The neighborhood was quiet and so convenient to walk across the street to the beautiful beach.

Great space for exploring St. Lucie county

We grabbed this spot for a long weekend and spring training baseball. Couldn't be happier with location and steps to beach. Short ride to Stuart or other spots for dinner, sites and Mets are just up the road. Highly recommend as it was clean, great neighborhood and spacious for our group of four.

Jensen Beach Perfection

We had the most wonderful stay in such a beautiful home that felt like home. It was spotless, beautifully decorated and had all the touches of home. Poldi was the most gracious host with the most wonderful attention to detail. We would highly recommend staying at this wonderful property for your beach getaway!

Overpriced rental.

This rental was way overpriced for what it was. With all the fees it was over $400 a night. The barbecue grill was too dirty to think about using and there was animal feces on the ground behind it. The frying pans were worn, the bath linens were old and stained, the garbage can was full, and the Roku tv’s were a struggle. With fees that high you should have straight-up cable. We were going to cancel ,but the remaining balance was charged to our credit card at 2:45 AM (I get text alerts) on our last day to cancel. We could have stayed at a nice hotel with a swimming pool near the beach for that amount of money, but we had already paid so much for this place we had to stick it out. We booked it for 3 nights and couldn’t wait to leave. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely beach cottage!

We enjoyed our stay at this property - it was very clean and thoughtfully furnished with things a traveler would appreciate, from beach gear (chairs, umbrella, cooler) to welcome snacks! Our host Poldi was kind, helpful and quick to respond to inquiries. The location across A1A from the beach was fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the convenience of the nearby community dog park. We visit the area frequently and would return here without hesitation.

Great location, great stay

This was our second stay at Beach Club Colony. It is a great old Florida-style home on Hutchinson Island. Great access to both the beach and the Indian River lagoon. The house is well-equipped and outfitted and Poldi was very easy to work and communicate with as our host. If you’re looking for a home to spend time at Jensen Beach and get some sun, you can’t go wrong with this one!

Lovely, relaxing stay, in a wonderfully decorated house, in a delightful neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay. Had a great time walking the neighborhood with our dogs at night. There is a lovely dog park by the neighborhood pier and the neighborhood people we met were very nice. Has that lovely, retro old Florida feel. Loved it! The house (which is actually half of a house, common in the neighborhood) was beautiful and calm, well-stocked for our needs and quiet. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the porch. The owners are very nice and very responsive. Great communication! There is a private beach for the Beach Colony (The neighborhood is called that.) with a watchtower and also a lifeguard tower really close by which is very nice and an AWESOME, dog beach 5 minutes drive down the road we went to every day, sometimes twice! Highly recommend the Magic Oyster Restaurant nearby too. We had an excellent time. Many thanks!
