The soul of the villa merges with the sea, the sky, and nature. A flight of steps leads to the sea gate, which opens onto a large stone-paved terrace lapped by the waves. On one side, there is a shaded pergola with sun loungers, allowing guests to spend enchanting days swimming in the sea and relaxing in total tranquility. Its superb sea view and its garden of aromatic plants and overhanging white rocks are part of a natural oasis in continuity with the strictly sea-view panorama. Just 200 meters away, you can reach Porto Ulisse Beach Club and La Riserva, enchanting locations for breakfast, eating on the beach, or enjoying a sunset aperitif. Nearby, miles and miles of pristine sandy beaches, the evocative Baroque cities of Noto, Syracuse, Scicli, Modica, and Marzamemi, and the nearby Longarini and Vendicari nature reserves.
INTERIORS: The accommodations at Baia L'Aura are arranged in four carefully restored fishermen's houses. Each has a summery, carefree, and relaxed atmosphere, and together they form a private waterfront village, perfect for large families and groups of friends traveling together. The main outbuilding, closest to the sea, houses the property's common areas, consisting of: a bright, open-plan, airy indoor-outdoor room with rise-and-fall transparent curtain walls, sea views, whitewashed floors, linen curtains that are gently billowed by the sea breeze, a well-equipped kitchen, and a dining table. A door next to the kitchen opens into the comfortably furnished living area with fabulous sea views and access to a shaded terrace. Next to this is the first bedroom: a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, sea views, and access to the terrace. The second structure has two double bedrooms with independent access that open onto a divided shaded terrace. Each offers sea views, a partially in-room shower, and an en-suite bathroom. The third and fourth outbuildings both house double bedrooms that open onto shaded terraces. One has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, the other an in-room bathtub and an en-suite bathroom. NB: Although there are 5 double bedrooms at Baia L'Aura, the maximum capacity is 8 people (including children > 10 years old).
Life at Baia L'Aura mainly takes place outdoors, and there is no shortage of spaces - both indoor and outdoor - where guests can enjoy the sea view, relax, and gather for convivial moments. Lawns and hedges with a wide variety of native Sicilian plants fan out around the various accommodations, connected by wooden walkways, trampolines set into the grass, and ancient terraces of local white stone and pebbles. Each room has its own whitewashed wooden terrace with shaded seating areas, allowing guests to stretch out and enjoy relaxation whenever they wish. The real magic of Baia L'Aura, however, is its large beachfront terrace overlooking the clear waters of the Mediterranean with many furnished scenic spots, created specifically for relaxing, dining with a sea view, and fully enjoying the spirit of the holiday. Guests will love the sound of the sea and the gently lapping waves, the iodine-rich air, and the shades of blue and emerald green that will accompany every moment of their stay. Whenever they want, they can go for a swim. In fact, just cross the garden, open the private gate, and dive into the crystal-clear water of the Bay of Porto Ulisse.

HOUSE RULES
CLEANING SERVICE: includes both final and daily cleaning (2 hours of daily cleaning excluding arrival days, Sundays, and public holidays) as well as bed linen, bathroom linen, and beach towels with weekly change. The cleaning staff will be at Baia L’Aura for 2 hours (between approximately 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM) and will be dedicated to cleaning the rooms, kitchen, and outdoor spaces. If the rooms are not free or available by the guests, they will not be cleaned. Any extra hours will be paid and to be agreed upon. Direct payment to the cleaning staff at the end of each service.
LINEN AND TOWELS: change of bed linen, bathroom linen, and room linen every Saturday or upon the arrival of new guests. Upon request, extra changes are available for a fee per person: €10 for a set of towels and a beach towel, and €10 per person for bed linen. Direct payment to the cleaning staff at the end of each service.
LAUNDRY SERVICE: we are in a Nature Reserve, and water is a precious resource. Guests can ask the cleaning staff for one free daily wash. Items will not be ironed. Any extra washes are subject to direct payment to the cleaning staff at the end of each service.
CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEARS OLD: Due to the nature of the villa with terraces stepping over the sea, children under 10 years old are not permitted.
SMOKING: is only allowed outdoors using the appropriate ashtrays. It is not allowed to light candles, firecrackers, etc., outdoors or inside the house, or to throw cigarette butts in the garden due to the risk of fire.
ACCESS TO TECHNICAL ROOMS: access to technical rooms is not permitted for safety reasons.
SEPARATE WASTE COLLECTION: according to municipal regulations, waste must be separated into 5 different containers (for information, consult the FB page "Ispica Differenzia"). The standard containers in the house are: Plastic and Metals, Paper and Cardboard, Glass, Wet/Organic/Food Waste, Undifferentiated Dry Waste, and are located under the kitchen sink. The cleaning service is responsible for disposing of waste in the appropriate municipal collection centers.
ELECTRIC CURTAINS IN THE KITCHEN AREA: guests will be provided with a remote control to open the electric curtains of the kitchen-living room in the morning. Please take the utmost care when opening them, as they are very delicate. During the hot season, the curtains will be closed, always by the manager, in the evening around 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, for safety and to prevent the entry of mosquitoes or unwanted animals at sunset.
KITCHEN AND CHEF: the kitchen is equipped with an oven, dishwasher, induction hob, and freezer/refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine (10 pods provided upon arrival). On the evening of arrival, there will be a welcome dinner prepared by the chef with a fixed Sicilian menu (please confirm any intolerances or allergies the day before your arrival). For extra dinners, the chef is available upon request and based on availability. The cost of the service may vary depending on the chosen menus that we will send you, + reimbursement of food expenses purchased upon presentation of a receipt.
