An excellent choice for exploring northwest Azerbaijan. The hotel is a first class property with excellent amenities and superb staff. Many thanks to the swimming pool staff and to Seymur, who provided outstanding hospitality and helpful assistance.

The hotel was excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized. A special thanks to our hotel guide, Elmi, who gave us a very warm welcome and helped us with the check-in process. He was friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this hotel.

Basqal Resort is a great getaway from Baku- just two hours. Excellent service. Aytaj went above and beyond to support us and make any spa reservations. The manager checked in on us as well. Nice breakfast buffet with Mountain views. Enjoyed a nice massage. My daughter enjoyed the pool.

The hotel was beautiful and had lots of gorgeous amenities, the spa and gym in particular were very well equipped and the staff were very friendly. The food was excellent, and the setting is stunning. It is also worth either running or walking up into Basqal village to go and see their silk painting.

What an amazing stay at Basqal Resort & Spa! Everything was top notch. The views from the property were spectacular. The spa on the ground floor was so beautiful and peaceful. They have three restaurants and each one was great. The staff is friendly and exceptionally attentive. I wish we had more time there, we would love to return! Thank you Aitaj for taking such good care of us. Highly recommend.

A very high standard hotel, we enjoyed everything, there are a variety of attractions in the hotel such as a pool, spa, bowling, we took a trip on a buggy. The hotel staff is polite, very helpful. Special thanks to Elbi, who accompanied us with everything we needed. On our next visit we will return to the hotel without a doubt.

We had a very pleasant two-night stay at Basqal Resort. The staff were exceptionally hospitable, friendly, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The hotel’s spa is excellent, with high-quality facilities and professional, attentive staff. The gym and swimming pool are also fantastic, offering stunning views that make the experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. The selection was incredibly generous, with a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was genuinely delicious. The only improvement I would suggest is regarding the smoking policy in the game room. The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, and it was noticeable even in the lobby. In line with local legislation, smoking should not be permitted in enclosed public spaces. While I understand that some restaurants in Azerbaijan may still allow indoor smoking, it was disappointing to see this in a luxury five-star hotel. A smoke-free indoor environment would better reflect the high standards that the resort aims to provide. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend Basqal Resort for its outstanding service, excellent facilities, and relaxing atmosphere.

Perfect Family Getaway at hotel.

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Basqal Resort and Spa Hotel. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The warm and welcoming staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of, especially with the kids. The family-friendly atmosphere of the hotel made our stay incredibly enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The surrounding nature was breathtaking—peaceful, green, and perfect for family walks and outdoor fun. One of the highlights was the spa and wellness area, where the adults could unwind while the kids enjoyed safe and engaging activities. The hotel offered a great balance of relaxation for parents and entertainment for children. Dining was another fantastic experience. The variety of food catered to both adults and kids, with fresh, delicious options at every meal. The staff was always attentive and kind, making sure even the youngest guests were happy. We left with beautiful memories and a strong desire to come back. Basqal Resort and Spa is truly a perfect destination for families looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy quality time together in a stunning setting. Highly recommended!

The welcome from Elmi was great. However, after this, several things did not go well. The first day we were there, room service was very slow. On the 2nd day it improved. In the evening, music was blasting from the 1st floor of the hotel that could be heard on the 4th floor. We informed hotel staff, yet they did not do anything for an entire HOUR until midnight, when we contacted Elmi directly, who was able to help us and the music finally stopped. Loud talking was heard outside of our hotel room from staff that same night. We also heard yelling from staff during the day while outside on a walk on the property. We put the sign for cleaning outside our door, yet no one cleaned our room in the morning the 2 hours it was there. We called hotel staff to request a room clean, and they said they clean after 3pm (first time we had heard of such a thing) but would make an exception and send cleaning staff, which they did. It was strange since check-in time is at 3pm and check-out noon. The day of checkout, we requested cold medication if available early in the morning, and they said it was not possible until 9am. We called half an hour later, then they sent it up to the room. Why it was not possible the first time we called is unknown. Breakfast was good, but the service alone is not worth returning for. The staff are not helpful despite it being a highly rated hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Basqal Resort & Spa. The hotel is truly five-star, with beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and outstanding service. A special thank you to Aytaj from the Guest Relations desk. She was incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. Her assistance, kindness, and dedication made our experience even more enjoyable and memorable. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful, and the level of hospitality exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Basqal Resort & Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway in Azerbaijan. We will definitely come back again! Basqal Resort & Spa-da istirahətimizdən çox məmnun qaldıq. Otel həqiqətən də beşulduzlu səviyyəyə tam uyğundur. Möhtəşəm təbiət, rahat otaqlar, yüksək xidmət və peşəkar personal bizi çox razı saldı.
