The welcome from Elmi was great. However, after this, several things did not go well. The first day we were there, room service was very slow. On the 2nd day it improved. In the evening, music was blasting from the 1st floor of the hotel that could be heard on the 4th floor. We informed hotel staff, yet they did not do anything for an entire HOUR until midnight, when we contacted Elmi directly, who was able to help us and the music finally stopped. Loud talking was heard outside of our hotel room from staff that same night. We also heard yelling from staff during the day while outside on a walk on the property.
We put the sign for cleaning outside our door, yet no one cleaned our room in the morning the 2 hours it was there. We called hotel staff to request a room clean, and they said they clean after 3pm (first time we had heard of such a thing) but would make an exception and send cleaning staff, which they did. It was strange since check-in time is at 3pm and check-out noon.
The day of checkout, we requested cold medication if available early in the morning, and they said it was not possible until 9am. We called half an hour later, then they sent it up to the room. Why it was not possible the first time we called is unknown.
Breakfast was good, but the service alone is not worth returning for. The staff are not helpful despite it being a highly rated hotel.
