Newly renovated full 1 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and all amenities one might need for a long or short-term stay. Located in a quiet neighborhood.

Livingroom
- Sofa that doubles as a futon (if you have a 3rd guest).
- Smart TV with Wi-Fi. No cable TV.
- Desk and chair for work from anywhere :)

Kitchen:
- Newly renovated with granite countertop
- Bistro table for 2
- Full set of pots and pans and cookware.

Bathroom:
- Newly renovated with walk in tiled shower

Outdoors:
- Patio furniture and a gas fire pit!
- String lights

Parking:
- 2 spots right in front of the apartment in the parking lot (off street!)

First floor/ ground level apartment. Not a basement! Just 1 small step to enter the apartment from the driveway.

Nearby:
The local pizzeria and deli are a few blocks away, other takeout locations and restaurants are less than 1 mile away; or order in with plenty of restaurant options on Seamless and Grub Hub.

It's a quick drive (~9 min.) to a waterfront clam bar and grill.
- Great local spot to sit on by Great South Bay and enjoy a meal and a scenic view (boats, local beach, playground, sports fields, even deer)

If you love the outdoors we're perfectly located near numerous parks and golf courses.
- Heckscher State Park (10 min.): a 1,600-ac. park on a 19th-century estate offers multi-use trails, sports fields, disc golf & boat launches.

- Bayard Cutting Arboretum (6 min.): a scenic 691-ac. park situated on the
Connetquot River, with a 1920s mansion as its centerpiece.

- Connetquot Preserve (10 min.): a 3,473-ac. preserve that houses rare birds & plants, with trails, guided nature walks & river fishing.

- Brookwood Hall Park (5 min.): a quaint local park with playgrounds, baseball fields, tennis courts, and lake fishing, surrounding a large historic estate.

- Blydenburgh County Park (14 min.): a forested park offering hiking trails, a playground, picnic areas & a pond for rowboats & fishing.

-Timber Point Golf Course (6min): includes 27 holes w/ wonderful views of the Great South Bay & Connetquot River; access to tennis courts as well.

Scott’s place was quaint and accommodated us relatively well for a 2 night stay. Check in was easy and Scott was easy to reach. The furniture was a bit chintzy, we were worried the couch would break if we sat on it and the bistro kitchen set as well but fortunately nothing even came close to breaking. Only other concern was the outside need don’t clean up of cobwebs and a few big scary bugs. Thank you for hosting Scott!

Amazing stay!

This house is BEAUTIFUL. It looked exactly like the listing and was absolutely perfect for me and my boyfriend. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the grocery store was 5 minutes away. Our trip would not have been the same without this place. I am sure to book with Scott again for my next trip to Long Island!

Charming perfect stay!

Wonderfully quaint! Our stay was perfect. I felt like I was at home. Everything you need for a few days stay or even longer. Super clean and inviting. Communication was absolutely hospitable! No regrets and I would definitely stay again!

Well appointed and cozy

The place was great! The host though of everything, literally. Things that you wouldn't think would even be needed were there. Everything was excellent, cozy and very welcoming. The property was exactly as discribed. I can't say enough about the cleanliness and cozy vibe. We look forward to staying again if we are ever in the area. Ewarm and welcoming.

Peace and quiet

Super cute apartment with lots of personal touches that is perfect for one person or a couple. The host was quick to respond with any questions. I have family in Islip so I’ve stayed at two other rentals in the area and this was by far the best. It is in a modest neighborhood of homes that are well taken care of. It is also nice knowing you have a dedicated parking spot. The best part of the stay for me though was the quiet. The only thing that woke me up in the morning were the birds. I’m hoping the apartment is available the next time I’m in town.

A very nice stay

We came up from Fl for our granddaughter’s birthday . We stayed Wednesday to Wednesday . Our flight came in very late and we had no trouble finding or getting into our apt. Very clean and well maintained . Plenty of hot water for showers . It was perfect for our stay and Scott always answered right away if we needed to contact him . We will be staying there again in the summer

Cute little place

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this cute little place. The place was clean and in a quiet residential neighborhood. There are several excellent restaurants within a few minutes of driving distance. We spent a day at the Heckscher State Park beach, which is nearby. We were planning to visit the Bayard Cutting Arboretum but couldn't because it started raining. Overall, a nice stay.

great little place

This worked out great for my stay on Long Island to visit family. It was perfect for 1 person and would still work for 2, but tight for any more. It was very clean and quiet. The neighborhood feels comfortably safe and you are parking in an area surrounded by the place, fence and bushes with a motion detecting security light, so I never worried about coming in late at night or about my car. Very nice backyard space, very private. The kitchen is small, not much workspace. I did not cook so it worked for me.Nice workspace. Very near to restaurants, bagels, deli but far enough that no noise. Bathroom is small but works for 1 person.AC is in livingroom so I brought a medium fan to blow the air into the bedroom so that worked out- bedroom would be warm without it. Went to Baynard Cutting arboretum around the corner and it was beautiful- worth the time. Loose rubber covering on mattress makes it slightly uncomfortable- I am fussy and it was ok for me. You need to walk through livingroom and kitchen to get to bathroom, but small enough of space that it is not far.The place worked out well for me and i would definitely come back.
