Blue Haven on the INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY…Let the unique charm and breathtaking views capture your heart as it did ours!

Entire home with private dock on the INTRACOASTAL waterway. Floating dock can accommodate 2 boats…so, bring your boat or two…No boat, no problem! There are reasonable boat rentals available. We are a 5-minute boat ride from the Isle of Palms Marina, which offers boat rentals, slips and a boat ramp!
“Blue Haven” is the perfect retreat for those looking for a break from the daily grind. Enjoy a private island that is only accessible by boat and has not only beautiful views but opportunities to explore wildlife like you’ve never experienced before.
Our waterfront features include a floating dock (10x30), a 4' wide aluminum "Sure Grip" ramp and a large covered pier head (15x20) complete with water and electricity. The house operates on a Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System, providing clean water throughout your stay.
Our home features 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths with an open floorplan and expansive windows that provide amazing views of the Intracoastal Waterway from almost every room in the house. The kitchen is beautifully designed with quarts counter tops, a seated island, heart-pine floors and more cabinets than you can fill. Prefer cooking outside? We provide a gas grill or use the oyster cooker to create one of those amazing Lowcountry boils for which coastal Carolina is so well known.
Looking for a boating experience? Offshore? Inshore? We can direct you to excellent guides that operate only minutes away. Want to explore on your own? Head North and explore barrier islands like Capers and Bull, which are only 15 minutes away, or head South to experience Sullivan’s Island, Shem Creek and Charleston.
You and yours will enjoy ALL “Blue Haven”, a 2,400 sqft home, has to offer so, whether you prefer to fish and swim off the dock, explore the island in search of wildlife, share stories around the fire pit or watch the sunrise from the porch, you will have stories to share and memories to reflect on for a lifetime.

Hidden gem in Charleston

The property met or exceeded all our expectations. Kim (owner) was very attentive and answered all our questions. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking elements and the grill, blackstone, and boil pot outdoors were a huge plus!

Perfect Getaway on Goat Island!

Our stay on Goat Island was absolutely fantastic! The house, accessible only by boat, offered a unique and private experience in the ICW. We had our kids with us, and they loved the adventure of island living. The accommodations were comfortable, the views were stunning, and the peaceful island ambiance made it a perfect escape. Kim, our wonderful host, was incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. We enjoyed every moment and are already looking forward to renting this wonderful home again. Highly recommend!

Great family trip

This house was perfect for our 2 families with 3 boys. We explored the beaches, went fishing and enjoyed lots of dock and porch sittin. The kitchen had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay on Goat Island! The house and owners treated us well! Our two families were accommodated with no problems in the house with the bedrooms! The outdoor fire pit area, swing, hammock and corn hole were so much fun for all! We would love to return some day!!

A Unique Charleston Staycation

Goat Island is a hidden gem right beside IOP and only accessible by boat. It’s easy to pick up people at the IOP marina. Although this island is primitive, this rental is quite the opposite! There is a fully stocked kitchen, fire pit, deep water dock, inside fireplace, outdoor dining area, gas grill, low county boil pot, comfortable bedding the list goes on! There are not many rentals on Goat Island but this is definitely the best! The host is super friendly and very responsive! We have come year after year and have so many great memories.

4th of July fun

We had a great time staying at the house on goat Island. It was over the Fourth of July week and we had a great view of the fireworks. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Lots of fun was had by all!

A Perfect Getaway!

This property was perfect. We had a wonderful time hanging out on the dock and porches. The property is close to all amenities and downtown Charleston is about 25 mins away. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and enjoy all the property had to offer. We saw dolphins nearly every day and tons of other wildlife, including two Great Horned Owls that visited each night. We fished off the dock and booked a full day fishing trip with another Goat Island resident. We had a low-country boil our first night, and the house was stocked with everything we needed. We ate meals on the porch almost everyday. A note to others who plan to bring your own boat - make sure you are able to launch at IOP Marina and rent a boat slip for the days you want to head into town. Kim was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions quickly. I highly recommend this property if you’re looking for solitude but with easy access to Charleston!

Great stay on Goat Island

Our family had a great time staying at this house on Goat Island. It’s spacious, the bedrooms are all a comfortable size, the bathrooms are very nice. The kitchen is open with plenty of space to cook meals. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the porch and dock. I definitely recommend for a no-fuss and relaxing getaway.

Our favorite Goat home

We loved our stay at Blue Haven! Our children love coming to Goat Island and this is now our favorite home! Fishing off the dock, s’mores by the fire, meals on the porch, games, treasure hunts in the yard…all memories we will cherish!

Amazing Staycation just outside of Charleston but you feel a million miles away!

Best house on Goat Island no doubt! Modern house with everything you can ask for on vacation. We spent most of our time on the deep water dock which can fit 2 boats. We saw tons of dolphin, sea birds and even a manatee. We enjoyed floating in the water, paddle boarding and boating.

Perfect getaway!

We had a great time fishing and crabbing from the dock, relaxing in our ENOs, eating dinner on the front porch, and exploring the island. The location is close to many fun spots we visited by boat. We look forward to booking another stay soon!

Island Paradise get away Perfection!!

We came to Goat Island for our Sons Wedding We had six adults and our grandkids The Beds are clean and Comfy We had access to a fire pit all kinds of outside cooking, fishing and swimming Our own dock for our boat Plenty of room to run around on the lawn and a trail path behind the house to explore the flats A Huge front porch with a beautiful breeze to sit and watch the boats go by if you didn’t want to do anything but sit too The homeowners are super nice and very informative All the comfort of home But in Paradise!!
