Large Seaview holiday home, with 4 star rating from Visit Scotland

This 5 bedroomed large holiday let, hosts the perfect place to get away from busy life's to recharge the batteries. Sleeps 8 Guests. a large kitchen , lounge and a conservatory both with peat fires, also a small reading room. if required but also oil central heating. 3 bedrooms downstairs and 1 bathroom. (2 king size, 1 single beds)

Upstairs there is 2 bedrooms, shower room ( 1 single, 1 Kingsize bed) a cot available if needed

There is darts, table tennis in the large barn beside the house but there should be an adult there at all times, as it is an agricultural barn. .

Large private garden surrounds the house with plenty of privacy and stunning sea views. Great area for walking, fishing and chilling. Garden furniture to enjoy meals in the garden when the weather is right! Also great base to tour the island as it is 28 miles from Stornoway and also 28 miles from tarbert Harris in the opposite direction. Plenty of wildlife and bird life, otter families also stay nearby Some evenings you see dolphins swim and up up Loch Erisort.

Fantastic location and property

The cottage has everything needed for a very comfortable stay, and the location is a great vantage point for exploring Lewis and Harris, The scenery at the cottage is spectacular. There were 7 of us staying. Marie was a very attentive, informative and welcoming host. Can recommend this property

Wow!! A beautiful property in a stunning location. It is very spacious and very well equipped with everything you need. We loved the fabulous large kitchen leading into the conservatory... wow what a view!! It is so quite and peaceful, with the sheep, chickens & geese occasionally breaking the silence. It really is a perfect place to enjoy and explore these beautiful stunning islands. sadly we didn't see any seals nearby (but did elsewhere) and we were treated to several stunning Hebridean sunsets which could be enjoyed from the comfort of the fabulous conservatory. Marie was a perfect host and we can't thank Marie enough for being at the property when we arrived (due to ferry timetable changes we didn't arrive until after 10.30pm!!). This is our 2nd visit to Lewis & Harris in 3 years and we left a part of our hearts last time. We have left another part of our hearts this time not only with the islands but also this fabulous property. Absolutely recommend this property and we would return at a heartbeat.

Wonderful!

Property was amazing and had everything we could possibly need. Plenty of space and a huge kitchen. The view from the property was stunning and we spent every evening in the extension looking out across the water. Great location too - tranquil and peaceful but easy to access the island and all it has to offer from the property. Hosts were warm, friendly and very welcoming - and checked in to make sure we we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

Spacious, peaceful, incredible location

This is a truly beautiful home in an incredible location. The home is so spacious and is well set up for a very comfortable stay. The setting--literally at the end of the road--offers peace and quiet along with incredible views, and it is fairly central for day trips to the island's sites. Marie is very quick to respond to inquiries and provide helpful information and advice.

Scottish Perfection

Even though we struggled initially to locate the cottage, the cottage far exceeded our expectations. Its location by the Loch provided spectacular views; the cottage was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for visitors. In particular, the kitchen lacked for nothing…including fresh eggs! Marie responded quickly to our questions, and her sister popped in twice to answer more questions. Overall, we four ladies highly recommended this holiday cottage. By the way, enjoy the sheep, chickens, and geese that live nearby.

Lovely Holiday Home

Lovely spacious property, lovely location with beautiful views, superbly equipped. Saw seals and dive bombing gannets. The sea otters were hiding!

Fantastic

This was a fantastic stay. Beautiful, comfortable, and cozy house at a breathtaking location. The landlord was so kind and welcoming, and a pleasure to interact with. I would highly recommend staying at this house to anybody who wants to experience the Isle of Lewis.

We really enjoyed the tranquil location the size of the kitchen and loved the conservatory.

The cottage was ideal for the family with plenty of space, we had a wonderful time and Marie and her family were delightful and friendly and took our youngest son to feed the lambs, and Marie had a delicious birthday cake ready for our eldest son, couldn’t have asked for more, plus we loved to explore the island and all it had to offer and then return to such a wonderful home for the week, thank you.
