The place was dirty with trash full, bed unmade and toilet paper stand on top of crumpled up bedding, personal hygiene belongings in the apartment unvacuums and door wide open to the street. Unable to reach owner and owner still has not reimbursed me for the booking even though I did not stay and they assured me they would after VRBO contacted them. Would not rent from them ever.

The host was unreachable by myself and by Vrbo. We both reached out multiple times with no response from the host. There are supposed to be check-in instructions sent 24 hours ahead of your arrival, I received nothing. The day we were traveling, I reached out to the host and to Vrbo multiple times and they reached out to the host with no response from the host. We arrived at the rental and could not find it at first. It's not well-lit in the dark. This rental is right next to a very shady-looking pizza place. Once we found it, we looked around for instructions on how to access it. Nothing. Tried the door handle and it opened right up. Red flag! We stepped inside to a place that someone who had no home would not live in. First thing I saw was a box of tiles on the couch and bottles of cleaners on the TV stand. The keys were laying on the kitchen counter. There was food in the fridge and freezer, open. There were dirty dishes in the sink. Made our way upstairs with disgust already. Upstairs, the ceiling is falling down in the sitting area. One bed was not made and had items from the bathroom on it, along with dirty, stained pillowcases. The beds were really too big for the rooms themselves. There was no room to walk around the bed to even get in. What are we supposed to do, jump in from the foot of the bed? Ridiculous. The spiral staircase in the front was broken and wobbly.This place is not as it is listed. Looks nothing like it at all. This place needs to be removed.

No host communication

Booked this property a few weeks in advanced for a 2 night stay, did not hear back from the host. Day of check in still had not heard from them, and upon calling and messaging them through the vrbo app it was total radio silence. Ended up canceling and getting a full refund.

Great photos, great beds - not for classy folks

Photos look better than the property is. It's attached to a bar/restaurant with very thin walls so it was quite loud (Thursday-saturday business trip stay). Beds were great, wall heaters in bedrooms were good, TV's we're nice. Overall, it's kind of like a slum-lord apartment but for the price, I would stay again.

Pleasantly surprised

This property is exactly as listed, it’s super clean inside. The second story ceiling is low but over all it was in the perfect location for visiting Indy! The pizza place next door was great. Parking out front was good. We spent 4 days and 3 night exploring and are making plans to return. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay for business or pleasure.
