Beautiful Broad Ripple House

Summary:

A home away from home! Situated 15 minutes from downtown Indy, 5 minutes from Broad ripple, and blocks away from Butler University along with the Monon trail, it’s the best type of convenience. The open floor plan is perfect for large parties to gather and make memories. When it’s time to relax, enjoy an electric fireplace and a gigantic bean bag. Freshly renovated with new appliances and smart TV’s for every room.



The Space:

The entrance to the home will take you right into the living room and dinning room. The open floor allow easy access to the kitchen, living room, and dinning room. Enjoy some free coffee with your breakfast. The three bedrooms are located off the main hallway which leads to the backyard and the basement.



Guest Access:

Note this house is a duplex and the owner lives in the other unit.



The Neighborhood:

Near Broad Ripple. Walking Distance to restaurants.



Getting Around:

Short uber ride anywhere downtown but enjoy the quiet of being right outside of downtown.



Other Things to Note:

Street parking and open parking lot across the street around the corner. Very safe neighborhood with public parking. House is a duplex and owner lives in other part of house.

Came into town for a family funeral (at a church nearby) and this house served our needs very well. Four adult stayed using all 3 bedrooms/2 baths. Felt clean/was clean. I liked the foam beds. Husband wanted more support. Communication with the owners was superb. Hottub was used once at night no problem. TV and channels were good. Nice kitchen (Could use a few more items like stemware, small glasses.) Location for me was fine. Others noticed the 'busy street,' and police cars. I'm used to cities and felt safe. A few places within walking distance were helpful. Walked to the Aristocrat pub (highly recommend for lunch/dinner/outdoor seating.) I give 619 E 49th 5 stars and 2 thumbs for price and accommodations. (Oh, put new batteries in the remote. Couldn't use ceiling fan or light in main bedroom. :) Thank you for the late check out, too.

Cozy & inviting

I recently stayed at a beautiful home that exceeded expectations. Great location and a welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home.The modern design featured large windows, and the open living area was perfect for family time. The outdoor space included a lovely patio and a relaxing hot tub.The location offered easy access to attractions while providing a peaceful retreat. Overall, our stay was magical, making it a perfect getaway. I highly recommend this house.

Amazing!

Not only was the house great but the host was amazing! Their communication was top notch they replied to any question I had within minutes! We stayed here because we had a tournament at grand park and needed a pet friendly house! It was only a 25min drive to the ballpark and the doggies loved the fenced in backyard! 10/10 for us, we already re-booked for next month and this will probably be our rental every summer when we are here for ball!

Livestock show

We were three different families with teenage kids show livestock at the state fairgrounds. This is a great property for that would highly recommend very clean. Very close to the state fairgrounds. Excellent neighborhood would book again in a heartbeat.

Lack of Communication and Broken Hot Tub

We have stayed in quite a few rental homes and have always had a great experience. However, this was our first bad experience. We chose to stay at this house because of the hot tub. However, when we got in the hot tub it was disgusting. It turns out a filter pump was broken. We totally understand that stuff like this happens and also appreciated that they compensated us 100 for the hot tub being down. However, the communication process on their behalf was horrible. First off, they knew about the broken pump before we got there and did not tell us. Once we wrote them to see if something could be done to fix the hot tub, they took over 12 hours to respond to our message. And then we wrote a follow up message and it took another 24 hours to hear back from that. We even at one point wrote a simple message asking about the soap for the dishwasher and received no response for 12 hours. Then we had to write a follow up message asking the same question. Finally, they responded by telling us where the sponge was located (that smelt horrible) instead of where to find dishwasher soap. While the check-in process was easy, the giant bean bag chair was nice, and the compensation for the hot tub was appreciated, the hot tub being down was an absolute bummer. To be honest, that was the only reason we chose this house and we would have cancelled had we known as our kids and us would have spent hours in the hot tub together. Even more frustrating was the lack of communication.

Animal hair on the furniture, it smelled like animal lives there, no hand towels, foul odor coming from bathroom, blinds too small for the windows, all televisions are small, stiff foam mattresses, no place to park. The host was professional and courteous. This unit is just not a good standard for vacation homes.

Snazzy place, close to everything with much relax-appeal!

A very cool place...it was the perfect size and the kitchen was very nice and easy to use. The hot tub was great to relax in and unwind after a day of work and fun! The giant bean bag was very kewl and so comfy. We may need one! ...lol We will definitely add this to our list of of properties to revisit in the future. Thank you.

Very accommodating team, lovely stay

The house was very clean, location is very convenient.Team is accommodating, and was easy to reach out to them.we needed more towels and was given a lot shortly after.they accommodated our late check out request. We would definitely stay there again whenever in town!
