Viatges a Illes Inagua

Best part of the resort for us was all the spectacular marine life. So much care and attention to the health and well-being of the animals. The other great thing was the amazing river ride that you go through in a tube. Fortunately, getting a tube was pretty easy. Though each restaurant that required a reservation was exorbitantly priced, there were a few other options for reasonably priced ($20) salads, sandwiches, etc. We also walked (a really long way) to the market in town to buy cereal ($9.00), milk and subpar fruit to cover breakfast. Property is massive. If you are not physically fit, consider another resort. There were very few elderly people there. We had thought about bringing my mom and know now that there is no way she could’ve done all that walking. Pool chairs fill up very early and it is difficult to find a spot. Surprisingly, not that many people at the beach. An unfortunate thing, is that if you are staying in the Royal, you do not have access to the pool or the beach at a couple of the other beautiful resorts on the property. Instead of lining up with 50 other people to listen to a ridiculously long introduction about dolphins, we just went to where you sign up and watched them frolic from outside. That was fun! 🐬❤️ All in all, it was awesome and we loved it. But, my husband, and I and our 19y/o daughter all agree that it was not someplace we need to return to. Waaaay too big, lots of effort and not very relaxing.

First time here. We’re Riu Class members. The check in was fast. The check in staff were friendly. The room was good. We got a King bed on the 3rd floor. The property is fairly compact so not a lot of walking… The food was excellent!!! Best part of the hotel. They have a two pools, one with a swim up bar. Both are clean and well maintained. The property has beach access with chairs, table and umbrella that is set up for you. The beach is clean and swimmable. Jet skis are available next door. No kids at this property…. We’ll be back….

Welcoming staff, clean place, breathtaking landscape and the beach is clean.
