Very helpful staff extremely good value very easy and convenient clean shower and toilets and very close to the city Center would recommend to any travellers - one small note is that there was a medium size stain on the pod cover but the inside was perfectly clean

This was not actually a hotel but an apartment in a residential building. We booked through Hotels.com expecting a hotel room and were surprised to discover otherwise upon arrival. If we had wanted to rent an apartment, we would have used an apartment rental platform. We chose Hotels.com because we expected the convenience and service of a hotel, but instead faced a self-check-in process and unexpected requirements. Although Hotels.com advises guests not to make payments outside its platform, we were asked to pay a €xxx security deposit. This was confusing and not what we expected. It was also not clearly communicated that online check-in was mandatory, and we only found this out after arriving. After completing the online check-in, we found that the key box was empty. Fortunately, a staff member happened to arrive and gave us the key. Otherwise, we are not sure how we would have accessed the apartment. After that, we did not see or hear from any staff members for the remainder of our stay. While the apartment itself was acceptable, the arrival and check-in experience was unnecessarily complicated, stressful, and far below what we expected when booking through a hotel platform. This distinction should be made much clearer during the booking process so that guests know exactly what they are paying for and can make an informed decision.
