The trek up the hill was significant but the apartment, the view of the town and the sea, and the quietness was worth it. The apartment was beautiful, clean and comfortable. It helped make our trip to Hydra special.

Beautiful little studio on the top of Hydra with a magical view

Great and easy place to stay. Long walk the first day but when you learn the rout it was easy. Perfect for singles or couple. Clean, nice, beautiful view and a very good host.

Beautiful Experience

What a great stay. The home is beautiful and taken care of so well. Everything is new, clean, and perfectly planned. The view is unreal. Dominque was an amazing host too.

We enjoyed our stay very much at this magic location. Perfectly renovated studio, all brand new, freshly painted and well equipped. The view from the terras is stunning. Dominique and Brigitte are such kind people and Dominique even picked us up from the port to guide us to the studio. I really can recommend this place and maybe some day we will return :-)

Absolutely perfect stay! What a charming property. It's so peaceful and has a perfect view out over the town of Hydra. Dominique was a great host - picking me up from the ferry and showing me the way up to the studio. He wasn't overbearing but made sure that if you needed anything he was available. This is probably the best property to stay in when visiting Idra. While it is a bit of a hike up the hill to the property it is abundantly rewarded with an amazing view and outstanding facilities. Dominique is a fantastic and attentive host. He met us when our ferry arrived and made sure that we had all we needed throughout our five day stay.The room is extremely comfortable and has everything one needs for a delightful vacation. The pictures are 100% accurate!This is an outstanding property and a great value!Thank you again, Dominique!

Hydra

We were met by Dom on Hydra port. He helped us settle in and was attentive always. The 10 minute stairclimb ended at our well appointed studio which had a magnificent view of the port. We spent a week soaking up the sun and all Hydra’s annual Andreas Miaoulis celebrations!

Room with a view

An amazing, cozy nest with a view of the harbor. Worth traversing the twisting streets with granite stones for such an outstanding place. Dominque and Brigitte were so kind and helpful. You definitely need to hire a donkey to transport your luggage. Thank you for a wondeful experience. Doug and Margot.

Anyone considering staying at this property should understand that it is a significant climb up steep irregular stairs to reach the property. It leads to one arranging one day so that the minimal number of climbs will have to be achieved. What is a pretty and well appointed property? The arduous nature of the access is overwhelming.

This studio is immaculate and supplied with everything we needed for our 12-day stay (as described in the listing). The host even met us at the ferry and hiked with us up the hill; pointing out various boat tour options and showing us the closest grocery market — and they continued to be very responsive throughout. We loved our time at this studio in Hydra. The private courtyard garden is lovey, and the view of the town and harbour is spectacular! Highly recommend staying here. Bring your sturdy walking shoes as each trip down to the harbour and back up to the studio involves steep, uneven steps and cobblestone paths (250 stairs anyone?). You’ll definitely get some aerobic exercise, and it’s so worth it!!

Wonderful

Our stay at the Studio at Hydra was wonderful and totally worthwhile. Brigit and Dominique welcomed us on Hydra once we got off the ferry, showed us around town and brought us up to the studio. They were very kind and generous. The studio itself is located in the upper part of the town, approximately 5min from the port by foot. You have an amazing view of the town, harbour and the surroundings from up there. The studio entails everything one needs, from pots and plates to a fridge, washing machine and air conditioning. Everything is new and in a great condition. The cleanness of the studio is flawless. Overall a 10/10 with heartwarming hosts and a super comfortable studio.

Appartement très bien aménagé tout en haut du village, loin de l'animation du port en contrebas ; ce qui apporte un calme très appréciable et une expérience assez unique, avec une terrasse surplombant la ville. Dominique et Brigitte nous ont réservé un accueil royal, et ont su répondre à nos quelques questions au cours de notre séjour. Toujours réactifs et agréables ! Expérience plus que parfaite malgré la petite ascension à prévoir pour accéder au logement. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir ! Un grand merci. Nico et Jean.
