Lovely lakeside venue

Great location on the lake, wonderful deck to enjoy the scenery all around. Enjoyed the conveniences the cabin offered as well as the indoor fireplace and view from the living area. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get away and enjoy some down time in a small town atmosphere.

Enjoyed a winter visit to this cozy cabin on Howard lake. Checkin process was easy and owner was attentive and helpful -eg ensuring pathways cleared of snow. Would stay again given the opportunity.

Hidden Gem

This house was perfect for our need this weekend. It was a nice place to “come home to” after a day with the grand kids! Though the lake is beautiful we had snow flurries all weekend but we found a new camping spot as well ! Only note the key pad is located on the garage door not the home 😎 but all good! I would recommend this home for a weekend or even a week! Cheers

Such a positive experience!

Wonderful get-away for rest and relaxation. And Deneen was super helpful and attentive with helping me with the tv technology! The cabin is super cute and clean, and the view is gorgeous. You feel like you are on top of the water when on the deck! Hoping to return!

Great stop on a long road trip

We picked this spot due to it’s amenities and location near the Luce Line bike trail. We enjoyed a great day riding on the trail and then relaxing on the dock. The cabin was very comfortable and we enjoyed morning coffee on the deck. We would definitely stay there next time we are in the area.

Perfect spot for our extended stay in the area.

Upon retirement we wanted to get out of the Florida heat and spend extended time in Minnesota close to our children and their families. This location was great and Deneen is a great host. Very comfortable, relaxing and fun with our visitors over a four week stay.

Beautiful view of the lake. Enjoyed watching a group of pelicans, an eagle and loons from the deck. One day got some much needed rain. The living room has an amazing recliner couch. Very comfortable stay.

Awesome Howard Lake getaway!

This little place was just what we needed! Traveled from California to visit our daughter and wanted to spend a couple nights at a lake house. We were 6 in all and there was the perfect amount of space. Well appointed with all the cookware and utensils, towels, blankets (etc) that we needed. The home was clean and comfortable. The back deck with a beautiful view was the best and our dogs loved jumping off the dock into the water!! Would recommend calling the area boat/kayake rental in advance if you plan on renting a pontoon boat or kayake. We were too late to rent anything but we still had a blast swimming with the rafts and inner tubes our host provided. Our host Daneen was so so nice! Down to earth, simple house rules. Loved meeting her! Would stay again in a heartbeat.
