I do not recommend this unit

This unit was deplorable. Aside from having minimal amenities, it was unsanitary and unsafe. Specifically, the floors were dirty. There was one long-dead roach and one dying roach spotted on the floor.The ceiling fan could not be used because it shook violently at all speeds. Appliances were old and the burners of the stove had rings of grit and grime as if they had never been cleaned. One of the two chairs in the room was broken and unsafe to sit in.This unit is in need of repairs and serious cleaning.

Studio apartment

The apartment is located in a gentrified neighborhood but doesn't live up to expectations. The unit has old, gross floor tiles, dirty grout, and mold behind the toilet, which led me to avoid using it. Once i asked the owner if he could switch me units cause there are 10 in the whole building. The landlord only sent cleaners, but they didn't resolve the issues. I overall regrets not choosing a better option like a Hilton, but due to the high prices during the rodeo. I should of just sucked it up if I knew this was going to be the outcome. I killed several bugs, Due tothe gap in the door which also was never fully fixed after i complained.if you are use to upscale living this may not be your best option. The pictures are obviously from when it was first renovated. There is no area rug and the floor is scuffed. The bottom lock does not actually lock. There was not enough towels so bring your own. I had to buy towels and slippers so we wouldnt step on floors. The bed was very comfy but no to pillows if you have a bad neck. However, the communication with the management was excellent, they replied back no matter the time of day and answered all my questions and concerns even before booking. the neighborhood has big beautiful houses and is quiet, with convenient access to amenities like Walmart, CVS, and downtown. Despite the unpleasant apartment, the area has its perks.

Situations

Place was quiet but poorly equipped. No towel bars anywhere. No kitchen frying pan for breakfast. Bed so low to ground it was difficult to get out. The bathroom floor was filthy—-corners full of dirt. Entry door had a gap when closed. TV Difficult to access as no remote and no online info given anywhere

Comfortable spot in great location

The space is very comfy and cozy. Small kitchen, but we were just there for a place to spend the night, so it was perfect for us. Great location and very clear communication from the host. Our only complaint might be about the quantity and quality of towels. Would definitely book again!

Hosting a friend

Perfect location to hit up all the local food & hotspots. Quiet street, pull out couch, clean kitchen, linens & property. Liked the patio in front too, adequate parking in the lot. Would use again.

Houston Getaway

I am overall impressed with this listing. The studio is set up very nicely and is conveniently located 10-15 minutes away from activities. The area is quiet and very friendly. I will use this listing as well as recommended to anyone wanting to visit and enjoy Houston.
