We enjoyed staying, but the place was over run with little roaches, they would fall off the ceiling into the beds. Master bedroom didn’t get much air had to freeze out others to be comfortable.

Very nice property - - loud area

Beautiful property; just as shown in photos. Just didn’t mention it is located on top of a very loud party bar, & surrounded on all 4 sides by very loud party bars. That may very well be a plus to some renters.

Great Spot for Kemah Experience

This spot is right over Monkey Bar. All the eateries outside of the boardwalk are within a block, all the bars are within a block, coffee shops within a block, and it’s only a few minutes walk to the boardwalk. Highly recommend for families with older kids for sure, maybe not the little ones cause it is loud Thursday thru Saturday nights with the bars around. A little hard to fall asleep but not as noisy as I thought.Perfect perfect spot for couples or groups having a fun night out.We booked it for a wedding at Landry’s and the guts got ready here and it was perfect.

Awesome place to stay

This place was awesome. The condo is everything it looked like in the pictures. It's very clean, spacious and modern. It feels like a welcoming home. Great location to Kemah and the surrounding area is a great place to party. The balcony over looks the street and bars. The vibe was great. Brian the host was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. I also ordered food from the Monkey Bar and it was delicious. They delivered it upstairs to the condo. Everything was right at our finger tips.

Noise + Smoke

This unit is surrounded by bars + nightclubs that blast music until 2am. Drunk patrons keep the noise going well beyond the bar closures as well. The bar below allows people to smoke indoors, so the entire apartment smelled like cigarettes. On the upside, stopping on the floor at 4am got the people in the bar below to close up shop and go home finally.

Awesome place great location

This was an excellent experience. We were in the middle of everything. Great places to drink and eat all in walking distance. Condo sits directly over the monkey bar which had very friendly staff and owner. They also have a great kitchen as well, so if you’re hungry at the end of your travels for the day you can just order food to eat in the condo. I want to especially thank Brian and Drew for all that they did to make our stay as wonderful as possible.Our stay was during New Year’s. From one of the balconies we had the perfect view of the fireworks. We were told the same view is great for the Fourth of July. We had no issues and had a pleasant time. I would definitely stay here again.

Location, Location, Location....

We rented this unit cause we wanted lots of space, it was my 6 yr old son, wife & myself. i'd give it a 4/5! Pros, hugs space, very nice, huge Tvs everywhere, ice cold ac, right in the middle of all the action, everything is walkable, picking up keys was easy, we needed some supplies and prop manager took care of it quickly.. Cons, the music from all the bars will go to 2 AM, the drunks will be making noise till 2:30.. the bed sheets were not immaculate... If you want a super big fun place to have fun, this this place is for you.. If you're looking for a quiet relaxing spot (evening / night time) , this is not for you.. It worked well for us cause we were visiting from Hawaii and w the 5 hr time change, we didn't really care about staying up late, our 6 yr old was able to fall asleep every night no problem (in the kids room/ double bed).. We would walk to starbucks every morning, hit the boardwalk every night, we out to the bars on Friday & Sat Nights.. for the same amount of $ at the boardwalk in you can get a studio hotel room or a 3 bed condo. We would and will def be staying here again!

Fun Place To Stay

Apartment was clean and the location was great for us. It is directly above the Monkey Bar, so be prepared to hear the music until the bar closes. Host was great...showed us the apartment when we checked in and it's just as described in the listing. We plan to book this apartment again on our next trip to Kemah.

Not family friendly

This location would be great for a young couple not a family with 2 young kids. This was on top of a bar that had live music until 2am. Bar all round this location has live music until 2 am every night. In addition, the bar below was a smoking bar and the smoke could be smelled all throughout the house. Some nights were not as bad as others.

Nice, but would not recommend for families

Very clean, modern, beds comfortable, plenty of space. Parking was not a problem. Food and entertainment all within walking distance. Not the best option for families considering it is directly above a bar and across from another bar. Very loud after 10 or so. We could smell the cigarette smoke in some of the rooms. There is no dinning table, which makes it difficult for kids meal time. Little one wanted to try the jet tub, which blew out disgusting dark brown material. One of the bathroom sinks kept getting clogged. The showers are VERY small. Husband struggled to avoid hitting elbows on the wall while washing hair. I think this location would be a better option for a small stature group that enjoyed bars .
