"Would have been 5* were it not for check in issue when I self checked in with QR code sent by hotel / coded room cards only to find it let me into an occupied room - not great for safety or security! Staff were pleasant but I would have expected such an issue to be taken with more concern. The hotel was fantasticly situated from airport a mere 200 meters from main exit but still managing to feel relaxed and not in a busy location. "We were very happy with our stay here! The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the airport and was easily accessible even with my large roller bag. Staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel was quiet, spacious, and provided delicious and varied dining options. I highly recommend it. "

"We enjoyed this as our final stay in Norway after 2 weeks. It was idyllic, scenic, and we loved the hens and chicks free ranging on the property! So cute. The only confusion was that there isn't any signage directing you where to go when you arrive. We accidentally went to the door of their main home that is pictured in the Expedia listing, instead of the home that is the rental described. I had to message them when we arrived for clarification. Other than that, the stay was very relaxing....

"An outstanding, comfortable hotel in the center of the Btyggen Harbour area with the most genuine friendly welcoming staff that I’ve experienced. Our kingbed room was larger than expected and nicely appointed. It’s incredibly quiet, even though the the hotel was completely booked. The only thing is in the room is a place for storage of any clothing besides a few hangers. breakfast was excellent with a very good selection you to choose from.. There was a strike on in the hospitality industry...

"Stayed for 3 nights with family.The hotel location is good and close to supermarket and other amenities. It's a 20 minute walk to train station. No tea or coffeemaking facilities in room.In common area were there were facilitaties for coffee and tea,the tray was empty on a lot of occasions and when we asked staff just kept pointing at paid machine which was not very helpful. Self check in works well and also good facilities to store luggage. "

I got food poisoning from My salad at the pizza restaurant across the street, Villana. Even before the food poisoning, it was a horrid restaurant experience with inedible food and a very unpleasant woman manager snapping at customers and the wait staff. The staff at the Charmante were sympathetic and helpful It is centrally located and a delightful place to stay"
