Temporary Family Home

  • A warm welcome to the Waibelhof in the Black Forest, hosted by Gudrun and Josef.

    We look forward to offering you a relaxing vacation close to nature at 650 meters above sea level, right in the heart of the beautiful Black Forest at the foot of the Schauinsland.
    Our vacation apartments cater to a range of preferences, from a cozy, comfortable atmosphere to 3*** to 5**** luxury.
    Our relaxation areas in the garden, the large garden shed with a grill, the playground, the lawn for sunbathing, the light-filled apartments, the sunny balconies, and, of course, the stunning views of the Schauinsland or the distant Vosges Mountains ensure a carefree and restful vacation. For those interested, there’s also the chance to interact with our farm animals and donkeys.
    For the kids, there’s a Bobby Car, sandbox toys, a toy mountain tractor, and more. Table tennis and a volleyball net are available for sports enthusiasts.

    You’re welcome to watch us work in the barn and, of course, lend a hand if you’d like! Or you can simply enjoy your vacation with excursions, hikes, and good food. Freiburg is only 7 km away and is perfect for strolling, visiting museums, or taking guided city tours!

    Our philosophy: If you’re happy, we’re happy.

    Bed linens and towels are provided, along with a crib and high chair.
    Our guests also receive a free Schauinslandbahn ticket (by arrangement).

    The modernized vacation apartments provide the perfect setting for relaxation in every season. The playground located on the farm offers your children a place to run around or play in our sandbox—even without their parents, yet still within sight.

    The Waibelhof is child- and family-friendly—and if the farmer has time, you’re even welcome to tag along to the barn or out to pasture.

    The apartments are non-smoking.

Die Ferienwohnung ist wirklich schön und auch die Lage ist super - schöner Ausblick und mit dem Bus/Bahn kommt man einfach in Freiburgs Stadtmitte. Es war sehr entspannt auf dem Hof, vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Perfekter Familienurlaub auf dem Bauernhof!Wir waren super zufrieden mit unserem Urlaub im Schwarzwald. Die Ferienwohnung ist top ausgestattet, besonders für Kinder (Tripp-Trapp-Stuhl, Rausfallschutz, Nachtlicht und Tritthocker – alles war da!). Man merkt hier wurde mitgedacht. Die Kinder hatten riesigen Spaß im Garten. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend – Vielen Dank für alles, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und kommen gerne wieder:)

Short trip to the Black forest.

Very nice place, location and very friendly hosts. Very nice spot to watch the sunsets over the Vogesen just a walk away. Great play area in the garden.

Von der freundlichen Begrüßung über die wunderbare Ausstattung der Wohnungen bis zu dem herrlichen Ausblick vom Balkon aus ist alles an dieser Unterkunft ein Traum. Der Aufenthalt hat einfach Spaß gemacht!

A great place in a great community

We loved this apartment and its surroundings. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. The community was very welcoming and friendly. One of our favorite stays on a recent trip to Germany.

Familienzeit auf dem Bauernhof

Wir haben unsere Tage genossen. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich, hilfsbereit und kinderfreundlich. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Ort selbst ist ruhig und gemütlich. Wir kommen vermutlich wieder :)

Ankommen, erholen.

Es war einfach ein wundervoller Urlaub in einer Traumhaften Umgebung. Die Gastgeber wohnen im selben Haus und anstelle das es einen stören könnte hat man sich immer gefreut sie anzutreffen und zu sich zu unterhalten.

Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen! Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, die Wohnung ist modern, sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Wir kommen wieder.
