Romantic Private Getaway! Hot tub, Fireplace and Views!

Escape to the country. This handcrafted barn loft is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Mendocino County on a 15 acre farm only 10 min west from HWY 101 near the end of a country road. Perfect area for bike riding or strolling the countryside for wildlife viewing. The spacious loft was built by our family for people to come and enjoy the serenity of country living. Enjoy sunrises and evening star gazing on the deck. Have a restful sleep in the new California King 14" Serta memory foam mattress with goose down and gel fill pillows. The kitchen has brand new appliances with pasture views and rolling hills from each and every window. Soak your stress away in your private Hot Springs hot tub and unwind with the glow from your whiskey barrel fire pit. Love classic music? We offer a retro phonograph with albums to enjoy. We love to share the bounties of our farm with our guests. We also offer a Taste of Mendocino Charcuterie and cheese Board as an add on option. If a peaceful getaway is what you’re looking for, look no further.

Awesome quiet loft spot in quaint Hopland!

Place is a loft on top of a barn/garage. Beautifully built place! Perfect for a couple, we were in town for a wedding and it was a perfect spot for us to slow down, relax and unwind. The hosts were the kindest people EVER. we WILL be back!

A Cozy Getaway in the Country

The property is located on a small ranch. The owners' house is nearby, but not close enough to be intrusive. The kitchen is well-stocked, and our hosts left some goodies for us. We found everything clean, comfortable, and convenient. There are lovely views of the Northern California countryside from the windows. The location is fairly remote, but close enough to wineries and towns with great restaurants if you don't mind a little driving. We met Ed, our host, and he was friendly and very helpful. We were very pleased with everything.

Hopland Loft

What a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful property and the loft is just perfect. The owners, Ed and Deborah, are lovely and couldn't have been more gracious. We enjoyed the sheep, deer and birds and definitely recommend getting the charcuterie board -- it was such a nice treat after traveling. We can't wait to return.

Quiet Solitude

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful, newly built loft. It was well appointed, warm, cozy, and clean. We came for some quiet solitude, a respite from our busy urban lives. It provided exactly what we wanted. Our hosts were kind, generous, and responsive. They greeted us upon our arrival to give us a tour of the property, provided some food stuffs, and made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back.

Quiet Retreat

We truly enjoyed out quiet and relaxing stay on the farm. The drive out the the farm is absolutely beautiful, and once we arrived we felt immediately more relaxed. The loft is located above the barn and we could see and hear the sheep on the hillside out the windows. The loft itself is very cozy and well provisioned with everything you could possibly think of for cooking, comfort, and all around relaxing. It's about 10+ minutes into town, so bring some groceries, but town (although very small) has some great places to eat, wine taste, and explore (check out the great antique shop in town). It was worth the 4 hour drive to get there.

Cozy anneversary stay.

A planned surprises for my girlfriend, turned out to be so amazing, the barn and our stay along with the host service and awsome greet and meet was more than i expected. beautiful property!!

Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, peaceful property. Our hosts were wonderful! Even going so far as to leave snacks/treats in the fridge for us when we arrived. It's an actual working farm nestled in the hills about 10 minutes outside of town. Very cute apartment above the barn that is really nicely done. We went for a bike ride in Healdsburg before arriving and the hot tub that evening was really nice!

Beautiful Getaway Stay

My partner and I absolutely loved this property. The most adorable one bedroom apartment on top of a barn. Don’t worry there’s no animals underneath just lots of them around in the neighborhood and including on the owners adjacent farm. Deb and Ed are the best hosts. We truly enjoyed hanging out with them and they were incredibly responsive throughout our entire stay. Highly highly highly recommend this place.

Perfect oasis in the country

The barn loft far surpassed my expectations! So serene and peaceful yet with all the amenities one would want. Just a hop and a skip from town with a sweet coffee shop and several excellent dining options. Sitting in the hot tub under the stars was dreamy. A place to return again and again.

The property certainly reflects pride of ownership. Everything was lovely. Just an observation; not a criticism....shade in a corner of the deck in the form of an umbrella or shade cloth with a couple of chairs with backs would have been welcome. Will definitely recommend this spot and will be happy to return ourselves.

Fantastic

My wife and I had an amazing time at Ed and Deb’s property. Every little detail in their house is well thought out, making you feel super comfortable and relaxed. Their loft was extremely clean, organized and very welcoming. We enjoyed listening to old records and playing board games at night. In the mornings we enjoyed having a coffee while watching their sheep waking up and down the pasture. If you are looking for a quiet, calm, clean and cozy place, I strongly recommend Ed and Deb’s place.

Amazing Stay!!
