And for outdoor recreation, check out Crystal Lake Golf (4.9 miles), Beulah Public Beach (6 miles), Lake Ann State Forest Campground (12.2 miles), and Crystal Mountain (13 miles).

The options don't end there though! Back at your stay, you'll find a canoe, available for your use. As well as, kayaks, a paddle board, board games, and plenty of nearby trails.

Upon first walking into this adorable home you'll be greeted by a warm ambiance of bright colors and fun decor. Enjoy the view in the main living area from the ample windows, or attached balcony. The perfect space to get curled up and tune into a movie marathon. Or, be the chef for your family and whip up a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen. With a dishwasher, plenty of counter space, and an open floor layout, the kitchen is a great place to tune into the living room's chatter and cook away!

A vast collection of board games awaits for your family game night, pick a game or two and see who wins! All the bedrooms are spacious and well decorated, allowing each guest to feel comfortable and content with their home away from home. Head into the second living area and find a wood-burning stove, ready to warm you up on those snowy Michigan nights. Other great amenities include a private washer/dryer, and plenty of fans spread throughout the home, ensuring that you're comfortable no matter the season.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Place is great really enjoyed our time golfing in area with fantastic weather. Incredible backyard view... Only thing that puzzles me is why I was charged a 291.00 Service Fee? I rent a lot and have never been hit with this charge before..

The location and outdoor area is great. The house was not just dirty- it was filthy. Stained rugsWater stains on the ceilings of the bathroom and bedroomsVents covered with dust and dirtCob webs in corners and hanging from random nails in the wallsMarks/scuffs/stains on the wallsTrash on the ground outsideThe mattresses and pillow have no encasements or waterproofing covers. Missing smoke and CO detectors. We had a group of 14 and they left 6 total towels. When I asked for more they told me to use the washer/dryer on site to wash the 6 towels. I requested the local contact to call me and they never did. I am truly astonished at how terrible our experience was at this property.

A beautiful experience on the river

It was a beautiful time spent with cousins and friends. With the river behind the house, we drove a few Miles upstream and floated back to our house. The deck overlooking the river was beautiful, and the deck overlooking the river was beautiful,the fire pit was a bonus. overall it was a good experience I do have to say the house was quite dirty and could use a very good cleaning and new mattresses in some of the beds!

Enjoyed our annual trip to his area. The house was spacious allowing everyone to have plenty of room. The downstairs beds are not comfortable for adults. We enjoyed the kayaks on the upper river and liked being so near the river. A short drive to dining and other entertainment

Platte perfection

First of all, the location of this property is absolutely stellar. The property is at a bend on the Platte River with a good amount of private frontage with a swift current, it’s extremely peaceful and satisfying to listen to the water. The home is nicely laid out, and the kayaks are a nice touch, but there is a level of stinginess that Vacasa has implemented here. Small Hotel style soaps and 1 extra trash bag are inappropriate for a home designed to sleep as many as it does. Additionally, many of the toilet seats are inadequately secured and slip/move a lot. There was far too much recycling that needed to be emptied from the recycling trailer on the property from previous guests. Dust had accumulated on the headboard of The master bed. The WiFi network & password was incorrectly provided by Vacasa. Luckily we figured it out, but the response time by Vacasa took nearly 24 hrs to get back with a reply to us.

Wonderful Riverfront getaway

The home is well appointed with plenty of beds and seating for a crowd. The deck is large and amazing for watching the river, soaking up the sun or eating family meals. Our grandkids loved playing in the river and the kayaking was great. We would definitely return.

Great family retreat!

We had a great stay with extended family. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck on the Platte River and had fun kayaking. The location was close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City where we went for more adventures. The house was spacious and great for the size of our family. The kitchen was also well stocked and nice for making meals for our large group.
