"The studio unit had plenty of space and the kitchen was outstanding. Very comfortable bed. Really liked it. The full breakfast was very good although the scrambled eggs were on the cool side. Really nice selection."

"The location in vail village is perfect. We parked our car in the garage free of charge during our stay and walked to everything. The staff was top notch they even knew our names. It’s newly renovated so very clean. You can stay in a one bedroom or come with family and stay in a four bedroom suite. This will be our go to location every time we visit Vail."

"The property was fantastic. We were all pleasantly surprised by the rooms and balconies. I had seen several mixed reviews before booking, but honestly we really enjoyed the spacious layout and overall atmosphere. It is an old hotel. But hotel more than makes up for it with its rich history, charm, and outstanding central location. We will definitely be back."

"The room was very clean. It would be nice to have a microwave in the room to warm up food we purchased at the restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was service with different ideas of what the people would like and that was very good. I loved everything about the place not disappointed at all."

"We were very impressed with the check in process and service provided by the front desk staff. The room had been renovated (so we were told), but the bed was definitely NOT new or comfortable (I had to sleep sideways). Also, I was not happy that the valet offered me a cart to take up my belongings (did NOT offer his services and I did not need them), then refused to allow me to take the cart myself....bit of a switch and bait. Checkout was smooth and we did enjoy the flavored water machine. ...

"My only regret with booking this room was the construction right outside our door. Paying what I paid I’d expect some updates and allow me to decide if I ld like to continue my reservation. The river view was nice, just too bad I couldn’t enjoy it. Having workers outside from the early morning until 6pm made the trip average. 25th Wedding Anniversary hit a snag, and also offering Mountain Standard as a great choice for dinner; laughable seeing I again had to hear construction throughout my meal....

"10/10 stay! Staff and hotel was great ! We were super impressed with the attention to detail for our 15M old! She got snacks & a toy during check in and they even included a teepee in our room for her to play. Would stay here again!"

"This is an older hotel but well maintained. It may be the very best location in Vail and is THE best location near Vail Village. There’s no A/C in the rooms but that’s really not needed in Vail. They do provide a fan for the room and that’s more than adequate. We stayed in two different rooms over two nights and the shower in the second room was a little wonky in terms of temperature but it was functional. The cost to value of this hotel would be hard to beat. I was truly surprised at the value...

"Older place but front desk was so nice and the location is great. Rented skis from Vail Tech downstairs and gondala was a 2 min walk. "

"The property was gorgeous. Front desk was friendly but needs to spend a little more time explaining the amenities offered like what floor the pool is on and restaurants that are available. They spent more time wondering about my little Maltipoo, if I reported that I needed a dog friendly room in advance. So if you plan on bringing a pooch be sure to let them know in advance. Other than that it is definitely a princess environment with a classy old world feel. I’m glad my husband picked it...
