Modern Holiday Home in the 300 acre 5* Kelling Heath Holiday Park, North Norfolk

Welcome to 'Safe Haven', our holiday home set amongst the beautiful pine trees and rhododendrons of the 300 acre 5* Holiday Park in North Norfolk. The park holds a Gold award for Green Tourism and has retained Gold in the David Bellamy Award Scheme since 1999.

Our holiday home is a 2018 Atlas Debonair with full central heating throughout, double glazed windows, coal effect electric fire in the lounge and two electric oil filled radiators as extra options for the bedrooms. There is plenty of warmth for the cooler months but none is needed in the summer when the south facing front of the home catches the sunlight filtering through the trees from morning until evening.

There is a 32" LG Smart TV in the lounge with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, Disney+ etc.(accounts require sign in). Plus there is an LG DVD Player with a selection of DVDs to watch or a Bluetooth speaker for listening to your favourite music from your smart phone or tablet.

Wifi is available in the home but it can be limited by the effects of trees, atmospherics and demand on occasion. We also have a small selection of books and games for you to enjoy.

There are two bedrooms, the master having a King size bed, large wardrobe, plenty of cupboard space, an en-suite toilet, wash basin and heated towel rail. The second bedroom has twin beds that can be made into a double if required, or one bed can slide under the other to make more room with just a single. It has plenty of cupboard space and a wardrobe. The mattresses are British made 1000 pocket sprung. We also have a travel cot and mattress along with a travel high chair/booster seat and a child’s bed guard rail.

The separate shower room and toilet with washbasin also has a heated towel rail, shaver point and further cupboard space.

The full size kitchen has a gas oven and gas grill with a four ring gas hob. There is crockery for six people and a range of kitchen essentials and cookware. There is a fitted microwave along with a fridge and freezer.

We have a small shed at the rear of the home, which contains a folding outdoor table and chair set, plus space for a couple of bikes or fishing kit if you wish to store them.

There is an excellent village shop and pub/restaurant in the centre of the park, along with the village square with outdoor seating, table tennis tables and pop up food stalls. Here you will also find the beautiful indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna with a well equipped gym - and an outdoor pool for the summer months. Fees for the indoor pool and gym are payable separately.

There are plenty of walks (with various trails including a fitness trail and easy access trail) around this stunning park, which includes pine plantation and rare lowland heathland, populated with a wide variety of flora and fauna. There is also a bike repair and rental shop on site and children's play areas, tennis courts and fishing pond. So there is plenty to do on site without needing to leave. However, if you do wish to venture further afield, by car, bike or the steam railway which has its own halt at the north side of park, there is so much to enjoy across Norfolk. We are just over a mile from the North Norfolk coast with miles of sandy beaches nearby!

Please note that the Cleaning fee of £100 includes a set £70 Cleaning fee and an optional £30 fee to use our lovely Bed linen and Towels. Let us know if you prefer to bring your own.
