Located oceanfront on the pristine shores of Surf City on Topsail Island, "Parrotise" offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. This charming rental is just minutes from local attractions, dining, coffee shops, bakeries, and shopping, yet situated far enough from the nightlife to ensure a peaceful and relaxing stay. Enjoy the best of both worlds with direct beach access and a serene retreat at night. This oceanfront duplex features four bedrooms, three baths and inviting coastal decor.

This elegantly appointed reverse floor plan includes a spacious upper-level living room featuring Apple TV, hardwood flooring and a double slider opening to the covered upper oceanfront deck. Enjoy the sunrise on the deck with a cup of coffee or watch the sun set while surfers catch the last wave by the pier. The fully equipped kitchen features all the necessities of home, bar seating plus a dining area that can easily accommodate six. There is also a bedroom offering a queen bed, flat screen TV and full hall bathroom on this level.

Walking downstairs to the lower level you will find three additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The oceanfront master suite features a queen bed, flat screen TV, access to the oceanfront lower level deck and has a private full en-suite bathroom. In the hallway, you will find a brand new full-size washer and dryer. Proceeding down the hallway, the first bedroom on your left features a twin bed bunk bed. At the end of the hallway is the fourth bedroom featuring a queen bed and flat screen TV. Next to the fourth bedroom is the shared full hallway bathroom.

On the ground level, there is ample parking provided by two covered spaces and two open spaces in the driveway. On this level, access the private, enclosed outdoor shower featuring hot and cold water from the parking area or directly from the lower deck to wash off after a fun day on the beach.

At "Parrotise," you can enjoy the "Parrotise" in a prime location, within walking distance to a myriad of local restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, grocery stores, and retail stores! Or enjoy the fresh ocean air while strolling the 26 miles of beautiful sandy beach between your toes. CANCELLATIONS -
Any cancellation of a confirmed reservation must be made in writing by Guest. Reservation payments are not reimbursable unless the property can be re-rented for the same rate and time period less non refundable reservation fee, cancellation fee, and third-party fees. CHECK IN DAY DETAILS -
Your rental home allows you to check-in directly at the property. Check-in typically becomes available BETWEEN 4:00 - 6:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. As soon as your rental is ready for check in, we will send you a text message with all of your check-in instructions. Please understand that all homes must be cleaned and inspected before we are allowed to issue access details and you are not allowed to be at the property until you have received that text message.

PREPARING FOR YOUR VACATION -
All our vacation rentals include fully equipped kitchens, basic small appliances (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters), pillows, comforters/bedspreads, television(s) and more! Our vacation homes do not supply consumable items for guest use (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, soap, spices, cleaning products, etc.). Please plan accordingly for any items you may need during your stay.

You are welcome to bring your own linens, or we provide a linens rental service for your convenience. Some homes provide complimentary linens for select dates and this detailed information can be found in the description. Linen package options include BRONZE (bed sheets only per bed listed), SILVER (bed sheets per bed listed, a bath towel set per occupancy, dish towel, and a bath mat per shower/tub), and GOLD (all items from the SILVER package plus one extra bath towel per occupancy).

Beach Nourishment: Beach nourishment projects help preserve and protect Topsail Island's shoreline. Most projects are scheduled annually between November and April and may involve large pipes on the beach, trucks moving sand, and other equipment to rebuild and maintain our dunes. Timelines and locations can shift without notice, and we are not always informed in advance. While we understand this may impact your beach experience, refunds or compensation will not be provided for disruptions related to beach nourishment. For the latest updates, we recommend checking the town websites for Topsail Beach, Surf City, or North Topsail Beach. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about potential beach impacts during your stay.

Water Pressure Notice: Please be aware that during popular rental dates, especially in the mornings and evenings, there may be temporary reductions in water pressure. This is a common occurrence across the island as many visitors are getting ready for the day or returning from the beach. We recommend planning showers and other water-related activities accordingly to avoid inconvenience.

Public Parking: The Town of Surf City enforces “Pay to Park” from March 1-Oct 31 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in the Surf City Public Beach Access Parking Lots and other marked Public Parking Lots. The Town of North Topsail Beach will enforce “Pay to Park” from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM year-round. Onslow County operates three public parking areas/beach accesses within the Town of North Topsail Beach. To the best of our knowledge the county intends to continue operating these lots free of charge.

Leave No Trace: Topsail Island enforces a "Leave No Trace" policy in order to protect our shoreline, meaning you must remove all items, including tents and chairs, from the beach each day. Any items left behind are subject to theft, removal by the town, or possibility of being washed away by the ocean.

Turtle Nesting Season: From May to October, Topsail Island is a nesting ground for sea turtles. Be mindful of marked nests, limit oceanside deck lights, and follow local guidelines to protect them.

The unit is well equipped and clean. It is very conveniently located making it easy to walk/short drive to the local grocery and many attractions. The beach is great. Our only complaint is that the beds need updating. The mattresses were a little saggy. We would stay there again.

Terrible check in process

Stay away from Access Realty! They totally misrepresented the check in time. Over and over they refer to an 'after 4:00' check in time, implying that at 4 you can get into the property. The DAY BEFORE, AFTER ALL PLANS FOR TRAVEL HAVE BEEN SET UP AND A GROCERY ORDER PICK UP TIME ESTABLISHED THEY TELL YOU ACCESS IS BETWEEN 4 AND 6!!!!! Since they make it clear that you can't go to the property until its ready, that 2 hours extra is a major problem. Avoid this property as long as Access is managing

Great layout, perfect location!

This property was perfect for our family of 6. The lower floor had the oceanfront primary suite and two other rooms. The 4th bedroom was by itself on the top floor with the kitchen and living area, so it was perfect for our moody teenager. The views are amazing from the primary, and living room and the decks. Just steps to the beach and the outdoor shower was very handy. The kitchen and living room are spacious and the kitchen has everything needed for light cooking. The appliances look to be new and the ice maker and water worked well on the fridge. The location is just a few blocks from the pier, and less than 5 minute walk to most restaurants, coffee, ice cream and ABC store. The management company was great to deal with and we rented towels/linens through them and they were good quality. We will definitely try to stay there again next year!

Lovely space that was just the right size with plenty of "like home" amenities. So great to find a reasonably priced space that could fit all of my nieces and nephews - this was their first beach trip and "Parrotise" made it all the better. We'll be back!

Good VaCa

Good overall property. Only faults were the thermostats were WAY too complicated and could never get to work correctly. Also the loose bannister going down from the deck was never repaired even after sending a video of the problem and asking them to fix it. Other than that, we all had a good time.

Fantastic, as always

Wonderful home in a great location. Loved being able to walk to the coffee shop in the morning and easy to get to everywhere else. The house was spotless, comfortable with great decks and beach access. Topsail is a magical place to begin with, staying in this property just made it better.

Perfect!

The property was absolutely perfect for our family. Everything was clean, ready and waiting on us when we arrived. Great location, within walking distance of everything you need. The beach access is incredible and the views from the decks is stunning. We will definitely be looking to stay here again!

Out dated but great location

Older townhome w/o elevator but not as many steps to worry about than newer homes. No king size beds, all queen or bunk. Family room is cozy. We bought our own table to fit everyone around during meals. Fridge needs to be replaced. Showers antiquated but they work! It's an older rental that needs some tlc but as always we enjoy the location lose to the pier.

Amazing

I have never been happy with our rental company and I have tried several. I am perfectly satisfied with Access Realty handling this beautiful property. We truly needed more parking space since we brought our boat but very happy overall.

Overall great stay

The stay was overall good. Great location- great view! Just a few cons- top floor bedroom fan is off balance and makes noise all night long if you run it- just needs some Maintenance. Dryer- takes multiple times run through to actually dry the clothes. Outdoor shower was wonderful & outside shower & hose was a wonderful thing to have! Lots of space & walking distance to everything down town surf city!

Fantastic, relaxing beachy feel...

Our first time renting a beach house and it was wonderful! When we arrived it was spotless super clean, I loved the colors of the decor and it had everything we needed. We wished we were staying longer! Our neighbors next to us were really nice and friendly and even though you had neighbors right next to you, you could not hear them at all. I would definitely recommend this beach!
