Enjoy a peaceful stay at this 2-bedroom house in Hollister. Marvelous bedroom setup with 1 king bed and 1 twin beds, along with 2 bathrooms equipped with showers and hair dryers. A pleasant living room space with an extra twin bed for added comfort. Relax and unwind in this cozy retreat. Enjoy your time in Hollister at our house. There also a fishing dock great for fishing. Book for 7 nights and the 7th night will be refunded.

The house was great for a weekend getaway. Easy and short drive to Branson but far enough out that the woods and lake provide quiet and relaxation. The host was easy to communicate with and provided great guidance on details. The house was very clean and comfortable.

Great experience! Louise was great to work with and the property is in a great location! Caught some great fish from the dock! Only thing to note for anyone reading this, if you’re fishing in the evening, none of the dock lights worked.

Lake home is extremely clean and well-equipped, with fine patio overlooking lakefront.Our disappointment was mostly with the deterioration in the neighborhood; in contrast to prior years. The "Trout Hollow" lodge next door produced a constant racket, loud parties (?), bellowing voices, crashes & sharp noises down at boat dock (at all hours), etc.Also "discovered" there's a downstairs (kind of hidden) unit under the main house. Appearedto attract multiple guests with small yappy dogs, watching late-nite TV at clearly-audible volume levels, loud music & loud cars at house across the street, etc.

Very clean and comfortable property. Had everything we needed and more. Beautiful view from the back deck. Close to everything in the Branson area. Our host, Louise, was a great communicator. It was nice that she left detailed instructions on all the different appliances and TV's. Would definitely recommend.

This was a wonderful stay. I was afraid we wouldn't have access to fish, but it was very accessible. NOT handicap accessible, you do need to be able to do stairs but Semi private and fun. I could step out on the deck and watch the boats go by or go down to the dock and fish or watch nature.

We had the pleasure of staying at this property in August of 2025. It is in a quiet neighborhood located a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Branson. The house was nicer than the pictures portrayed. It was modernized, exceptionally clean, comfortable, well- stocked, with plenty of storage space. The owners were pleasant and helpful. It has a wonderful view of the lake, and my brother-in-law enjoyed fishing from the dock. However, there is no water access for swimming from the dock. There is a separate cottage , and an apartment below the main house which the owners also rent. There is ample parking for all vehicles. Conveniently, one can obtain a fishing license nextdoor. There is an excellent Italian restaurant within walking distance. Reservations are advised. Our family highly recommends this lovely property.

We had such a wonderful stay at this unique and peaceful spot! We stayed in the main house, which shares a courtyard with a downstairs apartment (each with private entrances) and a cozy cottage next door. The setting is serene, with beautiful views of Lake Taneycomo.The dock is a great place to fish or just relax, though the walk down is a bit steep and narrow. While it wasn’t ideal for launching our kayaks directly from the dock, there’s a convenient public access point just down the road that worked perfectly.The house itself was spotless—immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. Louise was a fantastic host—friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions.The location is perfect: tucked away for peace and quiet, yet just minutes from grocery stores and the College of the Ozarks.If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat on Taneycomo, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home

The newer renovations are very nice, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the Hollister location is really quite nice. The small downtown area is quaint & has a few restaurants with great food. We also liked the location being a short distance to Branson.

Lake house

Loved the house for our group, close to Branson and very comfortable. Only drawback is we had wanted to fish with young kids and the "lake" at this location was a rushing river. The dock has an opening in the center for a boat docking. I was terrified that my disabled husband or young grands would stumble, fall into the opening and be swept away, life jacket on or not. But overall great place.

Peaceful stay

Great location, for our base camp. Rode the bike down to ride around the Ozarks and throughout Arkansas. Great cottage to come back in the evening. Quiet, peaceful place, clean, and so very comfortable.Will definitely recommend and will return.
