Comfortable Apartment, Terrible Communication

Pros - The apartment unit itself was comfortable and clean. Clean towels and basic amenities provided. Kitchenette was well-equipped. Cons - Zero communication from host. Contacted host a day prior to arrival to ask for check-in details but no reply. Arrived without anyone at premises and no knowledge how to check-in. Called host who did not answer. By sheer luck, another guest in the adjacent apartment managed to get through to host via a different booking platform, and host told them how we could get into our booked accommodation. It is strange how the host could reply another guest but not us. And while the apartment was comfortable, the main door could not be locked from outside. Book at your own risk.

Please never book this hostel in Hotels.com! We haven’t received any check in information from it, even not in junk box. The booking information indicates reception checkin but actually it’s a key box. We cannot contact the house owner via app nor Hotels.com for any help. The app is stuck and chat bot only do basic functions on order amendment. Lucky we finally can call the house owner and confirm our booking. We takes more than an hour to get into the house. The owner said she has sent the information the day before, but we can’t get it. It feels really bad. For the house, better to bring your own towels,else other thing is good

Apartment is good But the door lock doesn't work. When you go out, you can't lock the door. Also, there is no wifi as the wifi is using the downstairs restaurant and it is already closure.

The apartments was great and had all that we needed for an overnight stay for 3 adults. The negatives were that the entrance to the apartment was outside and up a flight of uncovered stairs which was not good in the rain. Also the bistro had a sign that it was open from 8am to 10pm but it was not open for breakfast. It was difficult finding anywhere open for breakfast in the area.

Absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Die Unterkunft befindet sich direkt über der Gastronomie, die Fenster direkt vor deren Abluft. Die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig, so lagen z. B. Glasscherben unter dem Bett, das Geschirr war schmutzig und in den Schränken lag Unrat. Die Unterkunft war in keinem guten Zustand und nur notdürftig repariert. Die Küche war mangelhaft ausgestattet (kein Ofen, kein Wasserkocher, kein Salz/Pfeffer/Öl). WLAN ging auch nicht.

This is a nice, comfortable apartment that just needs a little more attention to detail to make it a 5/5. For example, all the important stuff was clean, but things like the inside of the kitchen drawers/inside of the bathroom window were slightly sticky/dirty. We had a lot of trouble getting the door to lock and unlock, especially from the outside; we figured out a method, but it was a 2-person job! The blinds let in a lot of light, which in mid-May was not ideal as it never quite gets dark at night. But overall we enjoyed our stay, and enjoyed walking around the town.

This was an excellent and well kept apartment. We were able to eat dinner at Z Bistro just below our apartment. There's Ósland, a park in town where we were able to watch the Northern Lights and enjoy beautiful views.

Nice shared B&B. Very courteous house rules (remove shoes). We had a family room with room for 5. I didn't realize that you get a bedroom within a house and shared bathrooms. There are 2 bathrooms with showers, which got a bit busy. But the place itself is very tidy and had nice people/guests. There is breakfast available for an extra charge on-site (kids are free).

Surprisingly nice place given the outside of the building. Very spacious for the four of us and walking distance to all the restaurants. A good find!

Appartamento in ottime condizioni, presso hè nuovo. A disposizione 2 letti matrimoniali e un inters cucina: le foto sono veritiere. Qualche incomprensione al ceck in dovuta al fatto che avviene nel bistro zimbra sottostante e essendo al completo non mi hanno seguito più fi tanto confondendo la mia prenotazione fatta con expedia con quella di booking. L’ appartamento era aperto e le chiavi sul davanzale al suo interno dove le ho lasciate al mattino. Prezzo assolutamentr ragionevole

It is a very good place to stop . the apartment is very spacious very comfortable. Has a lot of amenities. The manager is very nice. Downstairs they have a very good restaurant that has a lot of selection on different foods. I would recommend this place. Important to know is when you’re checking out you should leave the key in the room

This property needs some work. The arrival and check-in went well but the rest left a lot to be desired. Multiple attempts to communicate about services in the area prior to arrival were not answered. The pots and pans needed to be cleaned before use. There was neither a can opener nor a bottle opener available. A number of items were broken (toaster, bathroom mirror) and the coffee table was about to fall apart. There were no blackout curtains on half of the room, making sleeping in June problematic. The worst problem, though, was the noise. The apartment is over a restaurant and next to and across from two more units. We had trouble getting to sleep with the inside and outside noise at 10PM and were awakened at 2AM with revelers coming back from their night out. Taken separately an individual fault could be let slide but overall the experience was poor and as such I cannot recommend this property.
