    Hidden away on a magnificent private bushland property in Tinderbox, this stunning home offers complete peace, privacy, and breathtaking water views from almost every angle. Surrounded by native bush and wildlife, this is the kind of property guests book when they truly want to disconnect from busy everyday life and settle into the slower pace Tasmania does best.

    As you arrive, the long private driveway immediately creates a sense of seclusion and escape. Stepping through the front door, guests are welcomed into a beautiful tiled entrance framed by large glass windows and doors that draw your eyes straight through the home toward the water beyond. The home is filled with natural light and has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of the incredible outlook and surrounding landscape.

    Positioned at the front of the home is the spacious master suite, offering a comfortable queen bed, private ensuite, walk-in robe, and its own heat pump for year-round comfort. The master bedroom also includes a fold-out sofa bed which comfortably accommodates an additional two guests, making the room ideal for families travelling with children. Additional quilts, pillows, and linen for the sofa bed are neatly stored within the walk-in robe, allowing the space to be set up easily as needed.

    The home opens into a large open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area designed perfectly for relaxing, entertaining, and spending quality time together. The living room features comfortable couches, a television, expansive windows overlooking the water, and a large heat pump to keep the space comfortable throughout the seasons.

    There is also a beautiful wood heater positioned within the living space, creating an incredibly cosy atmosphere during cooler Tasmanian evenings. Plenty of firewood, kindling, matches, and firelighters are supplied for guests to enjoy throughout their stay.

    The dining area centres around a large dining table that comfortably seats up to eight guests, making it perfect for long dinners, shared breakfasts, board games, or simply gathering together after a day exploring southern Tasmania.

    The fully equipped kitchen wraps around from the dining space and includes everything needed for both short and extended stays. Guests will have access to an electric cooktop, oven, large fridge, cookware, crockery, cutlery, and all the essentials required to cook comfortably from home. Coffee lovers will particularly appreciate the integrated grinder and coffee machine setup — simply bring your favourite coffee beans and enjoy fresh coffee each morning while soaking in the peaceful surroundings and water views.

    The additional bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the home, offering excellent separation and privacy for larger groups or multiple families staying together. The second bedroom includes another comfortable queen bed, while the third bedroom has been thoughtfully set up for children or additional guests with a bunk bed and a separate single bed.

    The home is serviced by two bathrooms, making it particularly comfortable for families and larger groups. In addition to the private ensuite attached to the master suite, there is a second bathroom located within the separate bedroom wing of the home. This space includes a shower, vanity, and a separate toilet for added convenience. Also positioned within this area is a fully equipped laundry featuring both a washing machine and dryer, allowing guests to comfortably manage longer stays and family holidays with ease.

    In total, the property comfortably sleeps up to nine guests across the three bedrooms and fold-out sofa bed setup. The layout works particularly well for two families travelling together, with parents and children able to comfortably share the spacious master suite while maintaining privacy between the separate bedroom wings of the home.

    We strongly recommend guests travel with a vehicle while staying in Tinderbox, as public transport options are limited in the area. The property offers plenty of onsite parking, with space to comfortably park multiple vehicles near the home.

    The driveway allows guests to drive all the way down toward the house where there is also space available to turn vehicles around before departing.

    Tinderbox is approximately a 30–35 minute drive from Hobart CBD, making it an easy base for exploring Bruny Island ferries, Kingston, Margate, Snug, and the wider Channel region.

    Please note that the property is positioned within natural bushland, meaning guests may encounter native wildlife during their stay including birds, wallabies, and other Tasmanian animals.

    The driveway entrance features a sharp turn from Tinderbox Road, so guests are encouraged to slow down and take care when entering the property.

    Firewood, kindling, matches, and firelighters are supplied for guest use with the wood heater.

    Additional quilts, pillows, and linen for the fold-out sofa bed are stored within the master bedroom walk-in robe.

    There is a separate studio located on the far side of the property which remains locked and is used for owner storage and personal items. Guests do not have access to this space.

    Due to the secluded nature of the property, we recommend guests arrive during daylight hours where possible for easier access and navigation.
