"The desk staff were excellent. They needed more help with breakfast as they couldn't keep things stocked and there was no coffee ready. The TV remote was a nightmare to use, the desk staff had to provide a demonstration and there were several people there at the same time to learn."

"Heater wouldn’t stay running. Cold!!"

"Great location, quiet, clean and friendly staff. Loved the room a little small but very well equipped, comfortable bed and clean. Definitely worth the stay. I read some comments about thin walls but I personally did not have any trouble at all."

"Stepping into the Kalamazoo House felt like being transported back in time. The breakfast, prepared by a culinary chef, was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. A truly wonderful stay!"

"Outdated but clean. Staff are always friendly. Breakfast is decent and included. Can’t beat the price when visiting my student at WMU."

"Easy checking. Details of property were explained very clearly. Staff was very polite and helpful. Room Was clean. No maintence issues. Plenty of available parking. Hotel was quiet. Breaks was great."

"Very nice breakfast, something for everyone. Staff worked hard to keep the food plentiful."

"The staff were extremely helpful, the food delicious, and the grounds and amenities were first-rate. Like many Victorian-era buildings, this one shows a little wear on the exterior. Other than that, a delightful stay."

"The room was nice but the tv was messed up and I over paid for the hotel I paid 165 on Expedia and 267 for some reason when I got there and the a 100 dollar charge"

"I can best describe our one night stay as “fine”. The property is definitely a little dated and has not undergone the full remodel other Fairfield’s have. It’s easily accessible, the staff was courteous and the breakfast was as one would expect but the age of certain things (mattress was shot, showers and bathroom fans were all very loud) would have me looking to stay elsewhere if we stay in Kalamazoo again."

"Beautiful place!!!"

"They are updating the property and what they have done so far is great! Manager is helpful wonderful!"

"Nice place staff were great, breakfast was ok, typical for hotels, beds were not great. Pool was cold but overall it was a decent stay for the price."
