We were on a family vacation - five adults, a 14 year old girl, a five year old boy and a 6 year old boy. The place worked really well for us. The pool was the highlight - especially for the boys.

Great house in a perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Eve was very attentive to our needs and provided helpful tips for our family of 9. The space was ideal for hanging out, cooking, playing games and swimming. The backyard was private and peaceful. We had an easy, short walk to the beach, even with young kids. The bedrooms and bathrooms had a great setup for three families with kids and grandkids. We walked to Coligny and enjoyed shops and ice cream. We will stay here again! Such a wonderful trip

Great location

This house is very spacious and well equipped. The outdoor space is great. A few issues: The mattresses need to be updated. Also, we were told it was wheelchair accessible but we needed to use a ramp for the front and rear doors. Some lamps and lights are not working and should be addressed.

50th anniversary/family reunion

Great property in an excellent location to beach,shopping and restaurants. Bedrooms and living spaces as described. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of room to eat and visit. Pool and outside area was good after pool service and lawn care people came a couple of days after we arrived.

We had one adult in a wheelchair and this one floor living was great! Pool was in a beautiful back yard and beach access was easy! Definitely recommend!

Great house and location!

The property was great! 8 of us stayed (4 adults and 4 children) and we had plenty of space. The property was clean, well equipped, and a very short walk to the beach. The pool was clean and temperature was perfect. The location is close to Coligny and Sea Pines. When we did need to reach the property manager with a question, Eve was always very quick to reply and was very helpful which we really appreciated! The only suggestions I’d make are to provide a few more kitchen utensils for cooking and a larger trash can in the kitchen. No complaints otherwise!

Lovely Property

We had a great stay at this property. Location is close to beach, dining and activities. We used the pool and outdoor area daily. Loved that we found a one-level, 5 bedroom home. Great for older guests. Open floor plan was great for game nights and family meals. Communicating with Eve was a breeze. She was very responsive to messages. Would’ve loved to have a bigger tv in living room for late night movie nights. Also, we reported an issue with the main bath and was told someone would fix it but it was not resolved during our stay. Regardless, we had a great time.

More like a home than a house!

The kitchen was very very good and well stocked with pots pans glasses cups plates Coffee pot waffle iron two refrigerators, Microwave and dishwasher, washer and dryer, all in good working order. The beds were more than adequate with fresh linens and plenty of pillows. Large open living room with large dining room next to it. Very nice clean swimming pool with lounge chairs and a table and chairs. Many extras such as coded front door lock, beautiful floors, beach towels for all, games and many many books. Eve the hostess was great. She answered every question we called with multiple times And she even made suggestions when we asked. We wish it was closer to Ohio.

Excellent Family Stay

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay!! The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. The walk to the beach was short and the beach wagons were a great help. The pool in the backyard was a definite plus for the kids too! We would definitely stay again!!

Great location and amenities. Having a pool and backyard/swing set was perfect for 4 kids under the age of 9. Easy walk to beach and house had carts to help. Just a great place to relax and be with family.

Great House

We had a blast! It’s a fantastic location, easy walk to the beach! House layout worked great for our family, we had 6 adults and 4 children. House was clean and had no musty smell which most beach houses have. The backyard was huge, quite and private. Pool was clean and refreshing. Only complaints were about the washer, it was very dirty and smelt awful. It definitely needs a deep clean. Not being able to wash the bath towels was also a down fall, we only got two towels per person for a whole week. The kitchen is not very organized or stocked with kitchen tools but we made it work. Overall it’s a fantastic house and we would definitely stay again.

A Great Family Vacation

The rental was lovely. I loved the selection of books. Every amenity that you could imagine was provided. Toys for the children, books for the adults, multiple televisions and a fully equipped kitchen. This was a great rental and I would love to do it again. Ann

Backyard is awesome, house just ok

If a big pool with a nice patio is your priority, this is your place. Pool accommodated our 6 adults and 5 kids nicely, with room to lounge and eat poolside - most other properties we saw in the neighborhood had much smaller pools and decks. BUT - the house itself leaves much to be desired. Furniture is worn, bathrooms are old, kitchen wasn't stocked with any condiments (no salt, no olive oil, nothing) - overall it needs a major refresh (although the kitchen was newer, which was a plus). AND - one of the master suites lacks a shower, leaving only two in the house, one of which didn't have hot water for our entire stay. The owner promised to send a plumber, but never did - fortunately, the outdoor shower was private enough to utilize as a main shower. Overall, not a terrible value for the price, but I will probably look elsewhere next time.

Listing on VRBO not accurate

The listing showed 6 bedrooms, 3 queens, 2 with twins and 1 with a trundle. Supposedly able to sleep 12. The site has now been amended after the fact. The owners told us, after arriving that we can only sleep 10.. The website shows 8 beds. There are not. There are only 4 bedrooms. The 3 queens, ONE with Twin and an office with a trundle. The office has no closet, dresser or accommodations for clothes. One of the queens has no dresser or accommodations for clothes except a closet. There are 2 bathrooms with showers. The bath with tub only has a hand held shower device. The bathroom in the "master" has a louvered door which is on backward allowing my grandsons to see into the bathroom from the outside. Very upsetting. The house is nice but it's not 200 yards from the beach. The corner of Mallard and North Forest might be 200 yards to the beach but the house is much further from the street. We had an older guest we had to drive to the beach but could easily walk 200 yards. The furniture was less than perfect. A kitchen stool was very wobbly and unsafe. A chair in the breakfast nook was broken and unsafe. Some of the furniture had holes in the arms covered by doilies. The dining room chairs were very stained and one is almost black. The house is nice, the kitchen very nice, and the pool was very nice and the owners tried to fix issues for us. Unfortunately, we were misled about how many beds there were and were left to camp it out on air mattresses. Knowing the facts I would have never booked this house. My first experience with VRBO left me very unsatisfied. Some refund is appropriate in my mind.
