Find every essential for a fun-filled beach vacation at this updated, second-floor condo at The Spa on Port Royal Sound. As part of this oceanfront complex, you'll enjoy easy access to the beach, wonderful on-site amenities, and the beautiful golf courses and bike paths of Hilton Head Island.

This condo faces the courtyard at The Spa on Port Royal Sound, a beachfront property with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, tennis and basketball courts, grilling and picnic areas, a playground, and a gorgeous stretch of beach on Port Royal Sound. It's a great location on the north side of Hilton Head, right between Fish Haul Beach Park and Historic Mitchellville Freedom Park.

It's a breeze spending your days at the beach here, with an assortment of beach gear and toys provided for your use. After a day of boogie boarding, swimming, and beachcombing, come home to toss your towels in the washer/dryer, unwind for a bit in central AC, and relax on the screened balcony with a cold glass of sweet tea in hand.

The interior is smartly laid out, with the main living area bringing together a sitting room with a TV (with both cable and streaming capability), a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a butcher-block breakfast bar for casual dining. In addition to the bedroom, there's a bunk nook in the hallway that's perfect for kids.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Another relaxing getaway

Property was very clean, comfy and cozy... being on the end was nice and quiet... We are used to the bigger 2 bedroom units in this complex so it wad different, but we still felt like we had plenty of space to move around... the balcony was very nice too. We would definitely stay here again..

Nice getaway, lots of nature

We had a great getaway as a family. The beach area wasn’t as expected. We’ve never stayed at this part of HHI. We are used to the Atlantic Ocean with spans of beachfront, big rough waves and large crowds. Pleasantly surprised to have less crowd. Water was more shallow but the wildlife assortment was far more extensive and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. We didn’t know there was such diversity in the beachfront areas in the HHI surrounding area. Overall great time!!

Good location, needs some TLC

Good location but the was disappointed with the cleanliness and quality. There was spoiled milk in the refrigerator, open food in the cupboards, the backsplash and walls were dirty, the beach chairs and toys were very worn, the patio was furniture is not comfortable, the main bedroom seems to be a full size bed not a queen.

Cute place

This condo met our needs for the week just fine. Two adults and three kids (13, 12, 6). The older kids slept just fine in the small bunks (taller teenagers would probably not love it as much). The walk to the beach was fine (be sure to check out low tide, we had fun exploring that!). The beach toys on the covered porch were broken, with two buckets cracked to the point we couldn't use them. Our youngest managed fine with the couple of toy shovels that were there. I intended to bring our own toys but forgot. The washer and dryer provided were great! The doors could stand to be vacuumed with an attachment to clear out some dust build up, and the remotes on the outdoor porch needed cleaning. Other than that, no concerns with cleanliness. We enjoyed our stay here!

Not for Off-Season Travel

Vacasa managers were terrific and did the best they could to provide a clean apt that met our needs — but there were a few issues beyond their control that the homeowner should manage. Towels and sheets were worn and in very poor condition; cookware was super old and scratched. There was not one tray to use for baking or even warming up leftover pizza. No salad bowls either. Bedroom mattress was weird (they put some styrofoam over the mattress as a topper). Couch was sunken in and looked dirty. We covered it with a blanket found in a drawer to watch tv. Outdoor pools were closed until April and indoor pool had too much chlorine, so we didn’t use it. Finally, the HHI airport is about half a mile up the road… so you hear any plane coming/going. Thankfully, there were only a few during our stay. On the upside, the beach is on the premises (although it is not affiliated with the development, so there are no lifeguards and I’m not sure it is cleaned of nature’s refuse during high season) as is beautiful Mitchelville park. All outdoor spaces around the pools are lovely, too. This place is fine if you’re a young family spending a long weekend on HHI during the summer, but I don’t recommend it for snowbirds.
