Located in the Port Royal Village of the exclusive Port Royal Plantation, this getaway is just a short stroll from Islanders Beach Park, one of the nicest beaches on the island! When you aren't tanning on the warm sand, simply walk over to Port Royal Golf and Racquet Club for tennis, pickleball, or a memorable round of 18. Or, hop on the new mid-island shuttle that makes stops between Marriott’s Barony Beach and Coligny Plaza.

When you find yourself spending time at home base, the 1,700 square foot interior will spoil each lucky visitor with an open layout, classy coastal decor, ample natural light, and high-end finished throughout. The ground level opens up to the fully equipped kitchen where the chef of the group will love showing off their culinary skills using the stainless steel appliances, two sinks, coffee maker, and dishwasher. Gathering for meals will be a breeze with the large kitchen table with six chairs, four bar stools, or outdoor seating for six on your private patio. Plus, you can end each dreamy day by kicking back in the comfortable living area with a movie streaming on the flatscreen TV.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Was very clean. Some updating of cupboards like paint peeling and loose cupboards could be fixed. CO2 detector kept going off and we couldn’t reach anyone at Vacasa so fire dept came to help. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!!

Enjoyed Our Stay, But

This unit worked well for our stay. We have stayed in this community before. The quiet pool and hot tub was only about a 2 or 3 minute walk and the amazing beach about 10 minutes. The community is usually quiet and very friendly. The unit has three large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom - I would actually say two of the bedrooms were more like master bedrooms. The living area was nice and recently updated and the kitchen was fine. I would recommend staying here depending on your expectations. It was clear that the owner had not been here in a while and the management company was not keeping up with the details. The unit was clean. The kitchen was not well stocked and very hodge podge with extra "clutter". This was the case with the back patio. The table was old, there was a storage unit on the back patio filled with beach stuff and it was overflowing and the items were old and rusty - not useable. It was not a nice place to sit and relax. There were a lot of details that I noticed that made it clear that some real attention needed to be paid to this place. I was also frustrated with Vacasa. Any time I contacted them for information about the unit before I arrived they just told me exaclty what was already on the description. And when they did give an answer about questions that were not in the description they were wrong. They were also slow in responding when our key pad battery died.

Says it’s renovated but still has popcorn ceilings…bathrooms could use a refresh. There was only one glass wine glass (some plastic stemless but…) Towels were thin. Beds were not super comfortable. Construction behind the unit started early each morning. We were in town for a wedding and the location was convenient

Learning experience

The men in my family had an interesting time figuring out your "smart" kitchen. They thoroughly enjoyed their golfing week in your home. I am the one who selects the home for the boys and I was disappointed that the grill was not "a shared grill" outside the unit. If there is something pictured that is no longer available, could you just remove the picture and the information about it. They did use the grill near the pool but that was not as convenient as having their own.
