Nice Family Vacation

Overall we had a great time. The property is roomy and well equipped. There were a few cleaning issues such as pull tabs and tissues missed, and the pool area still had trash, but the important areas like the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. The walk to the beach took about ten minutes. The owner had two carts that helped a lot.Our stay included Memorial Day weekend. Friday and Saturday nights were loud until early morning, but the other nights were quiet.We would stay at the property again.

Excellent

Love this beautiful home and how it has alot of space and beds for everyone. I especially love how clean it is. Some of the things that would be better is, having toilet paper holders instead of put toilet paper on the counter. Last, bathrooms need towel holder. Other than that, everything about the place is excellent. Definitely returning to this house.

Amazing and needed relaxation

It’s everything as described. Only 1 thing. We did not use the elevator as we’re not sure if working or not. Call button did not light up but the stairs were good exercise. I would definitely recommend this property to friends. Pricing was great as well. The master bedroom at night if patio door left open gives a natural soundscape ensuring a wonderful nights sleep. We loved it.

Overall great stay at Folly Field. The house was the perfect size for our family group of 11. We enjoyed the heated pool and plentiful beach accessories. The bedrooms are nicely decorated. A few things by the pool did not work - tv and propane fire pit - but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Bachelor Trip

Brought 20 people down to Hilton Head for a bachelor party weekend. We had a great stay here. All 20 were able to sleep comfortably. The property was clean and everything (pool, grill, elevator, etc.) were in good condition. Would definitely come back if I travel with a big group again!

Great for a large group like Girl Scouts

We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for the house that we stayed in on June 16-18, 2024. Our group of 10 kids and 5 adults was quite large, but your house was perfect for us. The girls thoroughly enjoyed their time in the pool, game room, sleeping arrangements, and eating there. Your house provided a wonderful time for our group. Please keep up the Fantastic work! We appreciate your hard work and look forward to sharing this stopping point with other Girl Scout troops who may be passing through the area. Thank you again for your hospitality. Great location

This place is ideal for families with many kids. They are trying their best to maintain it but cleaning level not up to make. Pool furniture's very dirty stair case dirty, beach toys in garage were very poorly organized. After all they did not keep Shampoo or Conditioner in any of the rooms which was very disappointing. First i had such experience in my starvation via Vrbo. Overall a good property without proper maintenance.

Very nice property. A lot of room inside the house. Had an issue with the pool but the owners sent someone over immediately to fix. I would definitely rent again for our family putting.

Family and Friends Fishing Trip

We enjoyed the spacious layout of this property. There was plenty of room for our group to spread out and enjoy time together snd in our separate spaces. Both the kids and the adults were well taken care of with amenities serving everyone’s needs. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, silverware, coffee maker and more. The kids enjoyed the video game machine (adults did too) and the bunk and movie rooms. The elevator helped with getting gear up to the higher floors and served the needs of some of our guests. Looking forward to another stay here in the future.

Rooms are spacious, and comfortable, I think there is a bit of an exaggeration when it says it sleeps 26, that requires everyone doubling up in beds and air mattress' etc. But the house is clean and worked great. The pool should also not be heated in the summer time, far too warm but still a great property. thank you,

Great house - messy outdoor area

The home is great, easy to access, clean on the inside, everything works, etc. The outdoor area is not what it looks like in the photos. The furniture has not been cleaned and was in disarray. The cushions were dirty and moldy. It's obvious they haven't been cleaned this season. No propane in the grill, which had no cover and was sitting in the elements. Empty bottles were scattered around that had obviously been there awhile. No outdoor furniture could really be sat on. The pool was clean, and as advertised, however. The lead photo on the listing probably shouldn't be the outdoor area because that's what really made us choose this property over the others - so that was disappointing. Again the house was immaculate inside, however, and as advertised.

Great place and location

Convenient walk to the beach and roomy for entire family. Only recommendation is the place needs glassware. It has ample plates and coffee mugs but did not have any water glasses, wine glasses or serving plates. We bought a plate to accommodate our group. Other than these few amenities, place was excellent.

Beautiful house but needs better cleaning

This house was beautiful and the pool was a nice, relaxing touch! The owner was very responsive to our questions and concerns. Our only complaint is the condition of this nice house: We found that many of the dishes were put away dirty. The grill was really dirty. Someone previous to us had left dirty towels under the sink in the master bedroom that were not removed before our stay. There were dirty fingerprints and coloring all over the white walls and door handles. There were wagons provided for us to use, a couple of which were broken. All three trash cans outside were full as if previous renters were not setting them out as instructed.
